Hi its been a long time since I've been on this site so if I end up staying long term I'll update this. 3 years is enough to build up sufficient levels of cringe. So I removed it all to avoid the cringe.

GOOD NEWS

Google Translate, after many years, finally added Kurdish to their Google Translate bank! :D WOOOOO

I don't have to use a substitute language for the 32nd now! GOD DAMN I AM SO FUCKIN' STOKED RIGHT NOW

Yay!

Also, I'll have a post up at some point today. I apologize for not being more attentive; Smite has completely taken over my life right now. I just can't seem to escape it.
Alexandra Ivanov

Location: The Sanctuary
Interacting with: Lisa Martinez & Armando Cortez - @AbandonedIntel

Alexandra jolted awake from the foreign language over the intercom. "Yo! Damas y caballeros!" Alex had no clue what it meant, but thankfully their captain chose to now speak in English. "We're five minutes out from the LZ! I suggest you wake your asses up and prepare for landing! I suggest you enjoy the view while you can!"

Alex looked around in an attempt to enjoy the view. It was certainly better than the slums of San Diego, or the underside of a bridge. As the helicopter landed, Alex took in the view of her new home. Accompanied with some sort of theme music, it was great moment for her. It was the beginning of something new, and that brought a smile to her face. She stepped out of the helicopter and was immediately greeted by the hot, humid air. She was silently thankful that her new home wasn't in the middle of some dry desert. As annoying as the humidity was, it made taking care of her arms much simpler.

"Alrighty then. I'll let you all rest here for the entire night, and I'll give you all the lowdown tomorrow morning at breakfast." Lisa said with a soft smile. "Don't worry, I'm sore and tired too. I had to fly the damn thing half of the time!" She chuckled. "So... do you guys have any questions before we go?" Lisa asked.

Alex wondered why Lisa had told them to rest for the night. Hadn't they all pretty much slept the entire time? Of course there was the jet lag, but beyond that Alex felt perfectly fine. "Where exactly will we be staying for the night?" The question might have already been asked, but Alex hadn't heard the answer. She figured that they would be bunking with one another, which would have been fine for Alex. Perhaps she could make a new friend that way.
So... how are things? :D Do you guys like where this is going or... no? D:

Si senor. Just gotta give people some time. I was working on a post earlier today, but the application errors caused it all to go poof. Kind of discouraging. I'll have a post up tomorrow.
Ignore this... Application errors made me double post.

Alex turned to listen to Lisa as she told them that it was their last chance to turn back. There was no doubt in her mind that this was the right choice for her. She would maybe get a decent meal after years of living in complete solitude. Her clothes would finally fit, and best of all, those around her didn't seem threatened by her mutated arms. That was definitely something she could get behind. Alex swung her "bag" over her shoulder. In reality, it was just a square piece of cloth tied at the top with some string. Inside was a change of clothes, a rusty canteen, and a small bracelet. If her appearance didn't already scream homeless, her lack of belongings certainly did.

"Looks like it's now or never. Quite an easy decision for myself," Alex said over the whirring helicopter. She made her way over to the others who had already begun boarding. As some decided that this whole Powerbound thing wasn't for them, others showed up to take their place. They seemed to have a pretty decent sized group. Alex didn't pay too much attention to where she sat, and just chose the one closest to the door. If this helicopter were to go down, she wanted to be the first one out.

Others started falling asleep, which made sense. It's not often that many people are up at almost three in the morning. Alex, though, was used to it. This was the time that she would use to go into the city and find anything she could. Most of her meals came from dumpsters behind restaurants or grocery stores. It wasn't always the best food, but most of the time, it was edible. Alex let out a sigh of relief. Those days were finally over.

<Snipped quote by Chickn>

Oh man, be careful with that, I hear more people die of cheerleading accidents than sharks and bears put together. Could you ask your instructor if you could put padding in your cloths? Gives you more of a sexy curve and might protect you if you fall. Also if you do fall, make sure you put your arms up in a 'curve' like fashon where your biceps are guarding your face and your hands go over your head, giving you a 'rollcage' for your head, then roll when you land. Thats how stuntman do large falls and they can drop from a 2 story building with only minor injuries.

I'm not sure about the death part, but I do know it's the leading sport when it comes to concussions. Not sure if I want a sexy curve, as I'm kind of a dude, lol. I do appreciate the concern, but I'm never up in the air. My job is to make sure that the flyers don't fall in the first place.

Also, as a side note: I'll be posting at some point today/tonight. Sorry for the hold up.

@Chickn Constantly throwing people? XD Do you assist paratroopers from the back of C-17s or what? XD

Nope. Cheerleading. Doesn't look hard when you watch it, but it is seriously one of the hardest sports I've ever participated in.

Yeah, I've kind of said already both here and the community document that I was going to be pretty busy the past couple of days, and probably wouldn't be able to find time to post. 3 full days of constantly throwing people in the air kind of leaves you exhausted.

Going to let @Chickn have a chance to get in a response to Marcus with their post before I make my own :)

I might not be able to get a post up today. Got a lot to do. But tomorrow for sure.
