It's true that modern power devices would be more miniaturized (to a degree, they are already pretty small), as far as making it roll, I was less worried about the balance and more concerned about it no longer being able to make a spherical shape, given all the odds and ends from the new guns to the converters to make the newer power devices work with the old tech, so it either wouldn't be able to close properly, or if it did close there would be all kinds of bits sticking out.

OKay then, I'll keep this idea as a pet project. Currently she has just installed another core. That way the droid can have a shield up quicker. It's still technically an upgrade.
I just wanna say, I know that you're feeling a bit left out at the moment Dia, but I think it will come to be interesting in the end. Kilgaris drew a lot of attention to himself, that's why Siador has such a focus on him. He's looking for apprentices and here comes a guy with Force Potential who already has a freaking lightsaber. When Kil shows his true colors, who's Siador gonna turn to? The traitor's sister. And think about the fun characterization we can give her in this event! Resentment for the belated justification, a renewed need and opportunity to prove herself. This whole situation puts her in an even greater competition with him than she already was. It's like, advanced sibling rivalry. It's also very Star Wars and I love it.

Oh don't worry for me Gisk. I'm in character xP

Also, Mia loves Kil but she won't hesitate to kill him if it means she can grow more powerful. She's my take on Asajj but she has a mentality comparable to Darth Sidious. xD

I have always wanted to try and write a Neutral Evil, it's my seventeenth attempt, but hopefully I can redeem myself. I always tend to gravitate towards Chaotic Evil and Chaotic neutral types. It's a challenge and I wish to enjoy it.

ok. I'll say it's moderate difficulty (15), since it's a complex part but an old design, so it's not as complex as the newer droids. Also, your are combining two damaged ones into one working one. I actually rolled 3-4-5-6 (weird), so that's 18. A success.

You have my thanks.

@Galgarion Well I'm not exactly a tech expert but I would like to elaborate my viewpoint so that you can add more effectively to it and maybe help in sorting this out. I'm plating two cores in one droid, the second sitting in a lower center of gravity so as not to effect it's rolling mechanism. Secondly, this core will take on all the ability to handle the shields so as to free the load the on two more lasers on the primary core.

Now for mounting two lasers on the back. They are much like the same Mantis type design as the originals, as in they swivel into place and are not stationery. They'll follow a more exaggerated path than the front lasers and will be mounted a bit higher so as to not disturb the original movement cavity for operation. I hope I can pull that of in a weird science way. If not, I'll just keep it as a pet project and try and modify the original design more heavily.

What I am aiming is a more General Grievous kinda design from the droid. I think that would make it a beautiful threat to the enemies of Siador and maybe prove the worthiness of Miavenna which seems to be shadowed by Kilgaris at the moment.
It had been a couple of days and Mia had settled well into the new establishment. The droid repair room almost becoming her residential quarters. Though she still shared a resting room with her sibling. He had nothing but been distant ever since the initiation test. Always shying away from a conversation or being generally sneaky. Mia had genuinely wanted to connect with him but decided to let him be. She wasn't sure but Kilgaris didn't seem like he needed her and that now they were out of Mustafar he also didn't have any reason to be with her.

Disappointed a bit, she had immersed herself in getting accustomed to the job she had applied for. Siador, for underplaying his role and skills, had quite an impressive collection of droids, for just a researcher. While the regular droids needed mundane repair and maintenance. Mia had made it a pet project to try and fiddle with the two droids that the Dathomiri siblings had destroyed. Most parts on hers were not salvagable, hers had been a display of brute strength and a rabid anger while Kilgaris had been more clinical in his disposal of his droid.

So it was decided that the frame would be from Kilgaris's droid since it was mostly undamaged and Mia would try and put on the undamaged core she had pried from hers. She also wished to install two more laser blasters at its back to give it all-round firing capability. Though it seemed crazy but Mia had a lot of time on her hands and it also looked like Siador had hardly any interest in her combat abilities. She played around with parts tying to fit in the other core, hoping a whiff of inspiration may do the job.
@TheUnknowable I want you to assign a difficulty rating to Mia's attempt on installing another core on the damaged droid that were left from their initiation/practice tests and roll my Tinkering skill for it if you could please.
I would appreciate if @TheUnknowable can lead Miavenna into a direction I can RP about. I'm drawing a blank as to what to do currently. It seems he is more interested in Kilgaris.

Okay everyone, I wanna get some player opinions.

I'm thinking about rebooting rather than attempt to continue. I could work to get us back on track, but I just feel like from the second week or so all I've ever done is react to players leaving/joining late, and all of my attempts have affected the trajectory of the story.

I'm also considering opening up the world some, making it less Force user centric. And it's a good time to start a Star Wars RP, too.

What do people think of this idea? And what do people think of for a new story?

I am fine either way. If a reboot sets things more in order then a reboot it is.
Can the dark side post?

You forgot the "you're not me" and shadow transformation bit.

oops. Will edit it in.

Edit: Done.
Where's Diabolic? Someone slap him with a stick or two and get him in here.
