That moment you've got too many rp ideas floating in your head, but you don't want to overwhelm yourself? Yeah... I'm right there, suffering in silence.

RP hunting is like finding the rare toy in the cereal box. Doable, but the time and effort is nearly more than I can bare!

That amazing high when you realized how far you've come in improving your writing. It's impossible to describe, but drowns you in a positive glow.

I love being a terrible person by making my PCs' lives miserable, it's art form that never gets old or boring.

At least I drew a reaction, which is special to me, because it's rare to see arena RP'ers outside of your subforum. ;)

I'm going to peer in here for a moment and provide a statement about that because I feel that statement is a bit false. Mainly because I know about 3-4+ arena players that do play in rps outside the arena. I've been in an rp called Create-A-Hero with Melon and LeeRoy, both vet fighters. I'm in another rp with DJAtomika which is a Mass Effect one. I also play with Yoshua171 and Ganryu in Anima Manifest, again both that leap into the arena for fun fights and even have a thread to test pcs in a combat situation. I also know a few ex-arena fighters (which I didn't know they were until recently) that while they don't fight much, they have roots there and been playing in other area of forum.

That's like 5 I've listed already which sort of kills off the classification of rare to me. >_>

It's not to be rude by the way, I merely wanted to point out that saying it's rare to see arena players outside their subform is incorrect to me. Just because they aren't always active in a subform like the free and casual and advance, doesn't really mean they don't use it at a different regular rate. The advantage with those forums is they don't focus on a set rp method while the arena does and it's one that a notable portion of people here don't like, rp continually, or some other reason. That's the biggest difference to me and one that shouldn't be penalized because of it. I mean, it's like the old saying: you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

*politely bows out* I am still keeping an eye on this conversation.
Btw, if it wasn't obvious i'm joking. :P
I can write a battle post or two if people want, i actually enjoy them.

But @Fallenreaper, you haven't asked my gender D:
*Fake tears*

*Points to the title under your avatar* even if you're not a man, which I think you are, you idenity yourself as one with the phrase: The man, the myth, the legend. If you were a woman, it wouldn't be man. However to be polite, what is your gender?
The Quarian one was actually a birthday present I made for him of his Mass Effect character in another rp. The recently one is also from another rp and made by me. Also, I tend to ask gender anymore as honestly there's no sure method to get the facts without error. So I figured I correct you there. XD
@Klomsterdon't be too sure :p. Like I said it may become something of a rota system until PhoenixWhite returns. And if echo is busy with her own post during the Telmarion battle I may ask you to fill in (given your experience writing battle posts).

*falls over laughing* Echo is a he, I know this well. ;)
@Fallenreaper

I'm still around, just been out of sorts. My head's feeling kinda loopy lately and life is eeeeeh.

What have you done now?!? *checks you over*
@Lucius Cypher: You still with us? It think a few of us are waiting on posts from you as it's been nearly 2 weeks since I last posted to move the missions along on my end.
@Klomster On the subject of piratepad I don't often use it but I find that it can be useful. The upcoming Telmarion battle will have to use it or something similar as otherwise it will be very hard to coordinate it with all 5 people.

It actually depends on how you approach it, the battle type and a few other things to me. With 5 people involved, it's going to get tricky for sure but you can break it down into 2-3 collabs from different view points as long as you tell each other what exactly is happening in each other's collab or at least a baseline over the battle scene as a whole. Keeping in mind that battles are chaotic and rather hard to notice everything in one, mostly because you're trying to survive.

Example: A siege on a castle. I would suggest picking 2-5 PCs in battle to focus on who's efforts would make interesting reads, are important story wise, or would stick out in combat. Then determine what exactly they did in the fight like did they rush the castle wall, took down a seriously important attempt to seize their position, kill a strange beast or something else? After that and determining the outline of the battle, divide the whole battle into a few key collabs with each from a different PC's perspective that is all likely happening at the same time or within some time of each other.

This would allow the feel of the conflict to be felt and likely make smaller groups, which you determine the posting order, to manage at one time. However this is just my inner ramblings so feel free to ignore it. >_<

I've tried using piratepad for another RP.
It worked horrible.

Plus being on different timezone didn't help.
Sure, it's awesome when both are on and can edit the document real time. But when that is not the case, it's just easier in PM's if ya ask me.

Also Duncan, i guess i could try and help if no one else volunteers for some Blackwell action.
(This doesn't mean no one should volunteer though. I'm looking at you o_o )

You can look all you want but it can't save ya! XD
