@Dervish I always believed in you.

The warrior's stride, the elders of the Tribe called it. Walk with purpose and with a goal in mind, but always be weary of all that transpires around you. Navi had always been good at it. She has a pair of eyes at the back of her head, that one The elders had whispered during her training. It was this that made her slid back and crouch, avoiding most of the fire and only left a deep frown marring her forehead in response.

It was a strange guide that risked incinerating her chosen champions without warning. Yet, it was not to Navi to say how this pixie should be leading.

The silence she had wrapped herself in stayed for the moment, while she scouted out potential partners in the fight ahead. Oh, there would be a fight, there always was. Perhaps not one where her spear would be readied and blood drawn in violence, but a fight nonetheless and it had already started.

The moment Lethe had spoken of forming groups, conflict was inevitable.

"Win?" The Gerudo finally spoke again. She ignored the others and her attention was solely fixed on Jillian. There was an intensity to her glance, like she was probing the likeliness of the statement. Then the summoned entities was given some scrutiny, but only for a moment before Navi shrugged.

"You have my interest, Skullkid." With that done, she leaned against her spear and looked at the others. "Anyone else who wishes to win?"

In the meantime she completely ignored the little Gerudo hiding behind the legs of the giant Hylian. Curiosity a plenty, but if she demanded the child back into her custody... it would surely inspire some form of strife here and now. This wasn't in any of their interests.

@DearTrickster

Navi is brave enough! She will join you. :)

Hi guys! Happy to be here. :)

Her hand halted in the middle of its track, before being retracted back to safety again. Shining amber eyes studied the back of the fat merchant moving away from the safety of her shadows and Navi sighed, before shaking her head. In truth the Gerudo had already recouped most of her traveling expenses an hour ago -- this had been simply for sport and practice, but the moment that voice entered the equation?

All bets were off and more important things were placed on the menu.

"Next time, my fat friend." Naviela whispered to herself, before turning her back and rounding a few corners here and there. The step of her stride changed, as did the stoop of her shoulders, people saw what they wished to see in her experience and a hunched, lazy walk was the first feature you ignored. Soon enough the Gerudo was back on the main street of the village, walking in the direction of the graveyard.

There were people all around. Shouts filled the streets of merchants peddling their trades, children playing their silly games and their mothers shouting them down for some peace and quiet. She passed a fish stall, only one tanned boy standing behind it. The lad tried to hide his look, but Navi knew what she saw.

No time, girl, no time. The Goddess of the Sand calls.

One wink was sent his way, before the journey continued.

If there was one thing you learned in the desert it was to follow your instincts without fail.

Just a few moments ago her instincts had told her to watch and observe, then wait, before actually approaching the group gathered together by the graveyard. It was all wrong. Why would the Goddess of the Sand call for all these... individuals? The Skull Kids, a Poe, Hylians and... Sheikah.

From the safety of the shadows she hissed to herself.

But as one by one they stepped up and bound themselves to the quest ahead -- The King of Darkness was returning. Her liege... was he not? Navi found herself walking, her stride taking herself out of the shadows and into the gloomy light of the lanterns. The scarf came undone and was pushed down.

There were soft ticks announcing her presence as the spear was used as a walking stick.

"Naviela of the Gerudo Tribe." She proclaimed simply as she passed the strange Graham and his Twili consort, and stepped before Lethe herself.

At least a woman leads. I suspect that's the most I can expect right now.

@Baklava I actually hadn't before. Was rushing to class, but wanted to write down my general concept to have it in here for your consideration, before getting into the meat of it.

But yeah, you are the GM so any final word will always be on your side. I'd clear things with you first, before making any large assumptions about the Gerudo or anything else really. :P

I also tried to contact you through Discord, but the username you provided didn't find anything, strangely. I did message a Baklava with another ID who was in the RoleplayerGuild Discord Chat? I am still a bit new to Discord and the site itself, honestly. Maybe you could PM me your skype handle, so we can discuss things further there?
Hey, @Baklava!

Been pondering about possible characters and I have read the character rosters to help with that. I am aware that there already is one Gerudo in it, but I figure I will pitch mine here considering there are some differences between the two. Which means that variety would be achieved even then. :P

So my Female Gerudo would have been born in the Gerudo Valley and raised within the tribe itself. This already is a departure from Veitaru, who was brought up outside of it, which influences her character in a manner of ways. My Gerudo would already be an adult, set in her ways -- which means she is an able warrior, but has no qualms about taking whatever she needs to help with the journey ahead, instead of having an annoying little voice at the back of her head, cheering her on to be 'good'.

She has no issue with socializing though and is quite capable of being friendly with the people around her, this may or may not be mostly an act. A role to help her and ease possible tensions that may arise. Very disciplined and stalwart when a dangerous situation arises, while being defined by her loyalty. Proof yourself worthy? And you have a friend for life.

As for why my Gerudo would be here, when the campaign is centered around Ganondorf and his possible return? I think it would be interesting to have a similar role as Nabooru, in that she knew that Ganon's ways only serve to poison their tribe and that he had to be stopped.

Maybe the whispers implied that their former 'God' and King was to return soon and she set out to stop that from happening for the betterment of the tribe? Just an idea.

I am quite easy, though, so if this doesn't fit your narrative and campaign I can either change things up, or come up with a different character concept.

Lemme know!
