And back I am. Exhausted, certainly, and may need a while for that to wear off, but I'm once more here to read and even write!

There's a lot of backlog here on my end. I'm trying my best to lessen it, but replies might be less frequent for a time. A welcome change from the nothing doing I went through though! Thanks partners!

Bio

I suppose it is about time for me to copypaste fill in some information about myself over here just as well. Only took me a few years to getting around to do it.

I am a married individual in my twenties from the country some people dare claim does not exist. The Finland conspiracy is an old joke, you can stop with it now. Not a native speaker of the English language by any means, though I did begin studying it exceptionally early for our country's standards. I suppose it was some sort of a test case. With that out of the way though, what more should I be saying here...
  • I like being nice to people. If one needs to ask why, well that alone is reason enough.
  • I play and Dungeon Master Dungeons and Dragons, both offline and in the past also over here.
  • I enjoy OOC chatter, be it planning the RP or a more casual exchange (not that RP'ing is that serious). I can make do without, but don't be afraid to talk to me.
  • Whatever the case, I'm here to have fun and hone my writing abilities!
I do think that should about cover it, yes.

Thanks for stopping by I suppose! I do also have a Discord account, but I prefer to start anything RP related on the site. At least with people I don't know from the past, that is! But hey, now if you are a longer time contact of mine and happened to read this, now you know and can ask!

Please excuse me this very night, for I am quite busy due to other things. I will probbaly have the time come tomorrow night. Soon enough, hopefully, in any case.

I, too, was surprised by the rapid pace of posts. I will probably have time to reply tomorrow, but tonight I am not in the shape to do so. Please excuse me.

Stright up "handing" something over the distance between the cells would be impossible. Tossing it the rest of the way wouldn't bee too hard though, especially since Kenza has multiple attempts with multiple pieces. In any case, I request you to make a quick edit.
Derrick's search was not exactly fruitful at first: While there were other cells where part of the wall had even collapsed and even one without floor at all, his cell had all of that in perfectly good shape. The floor stones, while at some points uneven proved to still hold well enough that the combination of the traction from surrounding stones, the weakness of any grip possible to attain and the weight of the stones he couldn't get any off. The walls, in turn, were a no-go from the start: There was nothing he could do about the intact structure.

There was something he did notice though: As he was crossing the room at the iron bars, he noticed that the slam of Wolfwing had made a dent in the door and the frame. Some of that dent even reached to the lock; it was not completely detached but with any luck he could possibly wriggle something into the system and use that to push the latch out of the frame, thus allowing to open the door. He'd just need something to do that with... his fingers were too big.

I've something to say regarding that investigation of yours, but I'll need to have a night's sleep before I post anything. Expect to hear of me "tomorrow" (it technically is past midnight) in any case.
@Dusksong
I don't see why not, although I'd rather not take a designated spot for myself for obvious reasons.
@Dusksong I'm here too.

I don't think those that remain need any help, but if you want to try and bolster their fighting spirit further you are free to do so. In this situation, I'd almost call for pure CHA roll but there is a possible case to use Perform if one truly performs. Persuasion won't fit: The guards are already doing what you would want them to do, so there is no use persuading them.
The situation on the battlements was nearing chaos. Some of the guards that had heard the adventurers words did just as asked and ran away, while others were left shouting after them. The remaining deemed them cowards that took the first order from anyone other than themselves to vanish from duty: The governor himself had ordered the keep to be defended from this aerial assault and these strangers surely were not higher in the hierarchy. Of course, the runners cared little for any of this and continued on their panicked way.

Torus was attempting to build a makeshift barrier, but they would need more time: The cantrip's power was limited and while they now had the shape correct, it was still but water: It would not protect them yet. Luckily enough all that remained to be added was another casting so that the water would freeze. It seemed they might have just enough time, as the dragon began turning back towards north and looping around at a healthy distance from the battlements.

Before it got fully out of the way of the defenders arrows, however, another cloud of them was sent it's way. As per usual, most bounced off. Emphasis on the word most. A single arrow from a certain cleric's shortbow, as well as one from the substantially bigger weapon of the paladin struck the dragon and pierced the hide of the giant adversary, even if it seemed to barely care about the attack.

The dragon's flight brought it back to the side of the keep our heroes kept their watch on, with it keeping a somewhat steady flight height of 25 to 30 feet above the parapet. No sparks in it's maw as of now, but there was no telling if it would draw forth something from itself as it reached.. whatever it was intending to bombard this time. The halfling could notice the dragon's eyes fixed on herself: What was it after?

@Ryonara
Well, one would use History if it was a particular known dragon or you tried to get your by comparing this dragon to one you have heard stories of. Arcana does not fit too well... I'd say it would be a difficult-ish Nature check, but History would be available if sufficient background of dealing with/studying about dragons was presentable as a reason to use that.

Anyway, seems the turn goes to @Norschtalen.
Working on it.

Good to know!
