Death battle averted!

B-but I made popcorn. D:

I think I've arrived at a logical background for my sorceress (mistakes were made, undead and Daedra were summoned...a couple of times), but coffee supplies are low, so tomorrow will tell.
Also alive, tinkering with the Spymaster's CS, going well, but coffee supplies are low (hoping to have it done tomorrow or Wednesday).

Shout out to @Hylozoist for being a lovely bouncing wall (basically throw stuff at them to profit, creatively speaking).
Highly divergent races (e.g. a race of mushroom people being called "elves") are attributed to miscommunications between natives and extraterrestrials or colonists.

I really like this idea. :D
One Breton sorceress with a history of summoning undead and Daedra coming right up. :3
Hooray!

Below is a CS for a Spymaster Extraordinaire, that I'll update throughout the day (most likely):

Edit: Adding more stuff.
Awwww, I wanted to do that xD

I could do my spellsword and our characters would have a sort of semi-friendly, semi-antagonistic relationship as the righteous spellsword (or oooh! maybe a crusader or Vigilant of Stendarr!) tries to keep the heretical mad sorceror on his/her leash.

Aha, great minds think alike. :D

I'd be up for the "semi-friendly, semi-antagonistic relationship as the righteous spellsword (or oooh! maybe a crusader or Vigilant of Stendarr!) tries to keep the heretical mad sorceror on his/her leash" that sounds like a lot of fun and a lot of interesting RP potential.

@Hologram Prose I understand the concept, but would a Penitus Oculatus officer willingly put his faith in a convicted criminal sorcerer deep behind enemy lines? You'll have to convince me with a good character sheet and an explanation that seems believable.

A valid point and it sounds more than fair that I'd have to provide a good CS and plausible explanation. :)
While food may not be required for all characters, a test of your loyalty to the ship, Captain, and a sign that you are not also secretly a spy will obviously be eating at least three full servings of Caterpillar cooked food.

All as part of the "death to other spies" initiative of the spymaster.
So...anybody wanna tell me about the character theyre thinking about? I'm curious :)

An alien spy (not human, but also not a giant space caterpillar, that would be ridiculous*, so humanish, might be basing this race on the Changelings from Eberron), retained by the captain to keep an eye on the crew and to provide intelligence work off the ship when needed.

*

Oh, character concept time!

Necromancer or Conjurer (Daedra), imprisoned for dabbling in some bad things, offered a pardon if the mission is completed successfully (no great loss to the empire if something goes wrong), every party has got to have a former-criminal with a new leash on life. :3

I might have some more up my sleeve, but that's one that came to mind pretty quickly.
