THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL (Team Battle - Nobody Vs. Doc)

(Here's what I came up with so far for my "viking". Will post more if desired and will post what version of Evvie I'll be using, maybe tomorrow)

Ornbard

Name: Ornbard Strongfist
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: He’s a tall, broad shouldered, muscular man standing nearly eight feet tall. He has a scraggly brown beard that extends down to his collarbone. His head hair is short. His eyes are brown. His skin is tanned and worn from being exposed to the elements and combat.

Personality: He’s suicidally brave. He loves the thrill of battle and will even laugh maniacally when fighting. However, some of this is due to his power derived from the adrenaline of battle. In actuality he’s not as bad as a guy as he makes himself out to be. He even likes cute things, a fact that he hides. He can be very cheesy at times and has minor fourth wall breaking ability.

Abilities

Physical Abilities- He’s peak human in most of his abilities without his magical powers. He can take a beating and is very strong, but his speed is not peak.

Intellect- He’s slightly below average in wit.

Combat Training- He’s from a warrior culture raised from birth with his battleaxe and hand-to-hand combat. His experience in combat with them is not to be underestimated. Even if he’s dumb as a brick sometimes, he knows his way around a battlefield.

Powers

Boiling Blood- His powers can vastly increase along with his anticipation/adrenaline of combat. He claims it makes his blood feel like it’s boiling and he gets super pumped. The more he gets pumped for the battle the greater his abilities can grow. It’s hard for him to artificially get this reaction even if he can psych himself out to some extent with screaming and the like. If he’s well aware of how unwarranted that is then his power cannot be brought out at all. This means that he’s severely weak to those he underestimates, possibly not able to bring his powers out until it’s too late.

Besides an overall increase in physical ability, he also gains greatly enhanced survivability. If cut, his blood does release a little bit of steam. It seems like he has a lot more blood as well because he can loose a lot without being overly effected. He also hardly feels any pain so would have to be torn limb from limb to stop him or do very critical attacks. He doesn’t actually heal much quicker than normal humans so, once the adrenaline wears off he’d be incapacitated the same as any hardy guy would be from his incurred wounds he might have shrugged off and kept fighting with previously.

Outfit: He has mostly a bare chest and biceps. He wears leather armor with fur clothing elsewhere on his body similar to what you’d imagine a stereotypical Viking as wearing. He doesn’t have a horned helmet, but does have a normal iron helmet that doesn’t cover his face. He has a cape made of bearskin that he sheds at the start of a battle.
Weapons: A long axe designed for battle. The handle is mostly wood and the axe is steel.

Has anyone managed to get on here lately?

I came up with a new plot. Although there are no new ideas, as the common phrase goes, I hope this idea isn't taken. So it's normally that we create robots that destroy us, so in this setting it's robots that create humanity and are destroyed by them. Eh? Eh?

Evvie grimaced, right eye instinctively closing shut as the fist made contact with that side of her head. Although her head jerked awkwardly, it wasn’t by any means strong enough to be a game changing blow. On the other hand, getting punched in the head didn’t help one concentrate any better on flying. That and his horrific screeching. She was plotting her revenge when she smacked her back hard onto a rooftop, cracking all of the tiles beneath them.

Laying beneath her foe for very long was not going to end well for her, she realized. She curled her legs up, planting both feet onto his torso so that she could deliver a powerful shove against him. With any luck she could knock him not only off of herself, but off of the roof as well into the dirt below.

They can fight the greater evils. Evvie against Magna Pater and viking guy against the Suliss would be the best matchup. It appears like he knew Evvie and him would defeat him so he resorts to conjuring and viking guy has no fear so it fails and magna comes in to play?

You refer to Gonad, my old barbarian ace. But anyways, do you have any character sheets for those characters? How about a team battle, Evvie and your Viking Vs. two of my characters. But yeah, first I need an idea of how tough Mr. Viking and Evvie are.

I'd be totally down with a team battle.

I was pretty sure he was one of yours but I somehow forgot his name despite his name being Gonad. Feel free to tell me if he's too similar but here's what I'm imagining. He can't get psyched up for a fight with, say, a fluffy bunny, so would be closer to olympic bodybuilder (his base) when fighting such a creature, while fighting against a god would have him so pumped he'd be well into superhuman range, but he doesn't have a 1 to 1 correlation, only boosts to his power that have an eventual ceiling (probably?). That is why he ends up only a forth evvie's power in my multiverse setting. He sometimes acts like a maniac shouting and stuff to continue pumping himself up for the fight. Getting bored or feeling too at ease and his powers drain back down to normal. His powers have nothing truly matching his opponent, but he does tend to rise to the occasion. He could greatly surpass his opponent if his hype exceeds what they are actually capable of, and when he learns the truth he greatly drops back down in power as disapointment sets in.

As for Evvie, even I literally forget a lot of the time, but Evvie is actually a demigod. She has the stats of a dragon god condensed into her smaller body. Thanks to that she could take most dragons out in a single punch straight through them (and not just the wimpy ones from skyrim). She's my setting's level of superman (some versions of him, not the one where he drags multiple planets behind him as I've seen a picture of). She's planet bursting though when she's awakened her demigod form.

Here's Evvie's sheet for roleplays on here, where she's much more manageable, so you may want to choose from there unless you want to deal with really high power and insane regeneration that would make certain foes from her setting rage quit: roleplayerguild.com/posts/69861

If you don't blow her entire head off and then blow up the ashes, you can't be sure she's been killed if she was in her demigod form. And she reincarnates anyways but that's a huge setback because she comes back as a baby in an egg.

I'm thinking of having another universe in the multiverse where things aren't quite as OP (well, a ton of people are OP so they end up not OP if everyone is, but you get the idea). In the other universe she'd be more powerful than the forum version but not nearly as powerful as that universe. For example, a simple beheading would be enough to do her in or other ways, but beheading is the most foolproof and well known method.

Scoville

Name: Roger Wilkinson

Appearance- A blonde child with glasses and pale skin. Most often seen in his school uniform.

Abilities/Skills- Scoville is imbued with mastery over capsaicin, hot sauce, and all other spicy things.

-His body has its own center of gravity similar in pull to that of the Earth's, but it can only draw in hot sauce. It can be turned on or off, and when on, all nearby hot sauces begin moving towards him as if the surface they were previously resting on had been tipped upside down. If they are far enough away, they can reach terminal velocity. This ability has a range of two hundred kilometers. Spicy vapors and whatnot move just as quickly towards him as if they were subject to the same amount of gravity as a solid. Scoville can also concentrate the gravity over different parts of his body to increase its strength and decrease the surface area that the sauces cover, or he can reverse the gravity and compact sauce into "pressure channels". These pressure channels are immensely powerful, so much so that when he lets loose at maximum strength, the released stream of hot sauce is propelled at Mach 7. It's not uncommon for most of his sauce jets to average out to around the speed of sound after two seconds of preparation, with seven seconds needed to reach the pressure required to top hypersonic speeds. He can fire from virtually any part of his body, but mostly sticks to launching attacks from his hands and feet. He can also use pressure channels to manipulate the shape of any hot sauce that is in contact with him, A.E, he can draw the all of the hot sauce on his body into the palm of his hand and form it into a perfect square. There is no limit to how much hot sauce Scoville can manipulate so long as he is in physical skin-to-skin contact with it.

-He is immune to all forms of heat and spiciness.

-Scoville can secrete his own hot sauces, at a rate of two gallons per second if his entire body is used to generate the juice. In ten seconds he can generate his own body weight in hot sauce.

-In lieu of typical hot sauces, Scoville can substitute either crystalized or liquid capsaicin. It has a heat rating of 16,000,000 Scoville units. By comparison, the hottest habanero only has a rating of 350,000. Police grade pepper spray is rated 2,000,000.

-He can increase the heat of all spicy foodstuffs, to the point of boiling or even vaporization. He can do this remotely to anything spicy affected by his gravity.

-Scoville is very protective of his glasses, for they are an expensive prescription brand and he is extremely nearsighted without them. The destruction of his glasses has been known to send him into a frightening rage, which fuels his abilities and allows him to double the rate of his sauce production in addition to drastically increasing his own body heat. At the peak of his fury, Scoville's touch can carry with it a temperature of over 950°C.

Personality- In the world of video games, there are creatures known as "squeakers". Underage gamers whose parents purchase mature rated games for them, along with an accompanying headset. These squeakers are known to be wildly rude, immature, annoying, and generally very unpleasant to deal with. Scoville, having obtained such powers as no child should be in his or her right to possess, is a rare case of the much deadlier organism thusly described as an "irl squeaker". His mischievous antics and ridiculous behaviors are tailor made to troll the world, and troll the world he does. That isn't to say he is a monster, morally speaking. Scoville isn't a murderer, isn't a great destructor. He mostly just slips hot sauce into the head dean's sandwiches, or gives the old boiler a working over to made the showers painfully hot. He pranks for fun, and though some may see him as malicious, he is really just a boy being a boy. Still, he is a very capable boy. He can and has used the full extent of his formidable power to kill those who would try to kidnap, assault, and otherwise perform seriously unlawful actions against his person. This has just so happened to include small militias and local mobsters, all of whom tasted the fiery armpits of preteen hell.

Background- Scoville grew up as your run of the mill precocious British schoolboy, studying for college and getting into all kinds of wacky shenanigans in the meantime. He'd been known by his nickname since the age of five, when he ate an entire scotch bonnet pepper and asked for seconds during a family reunion. Even his own mother calls him Scoville over his real name. As for how he gained his power? When he was seven he dumped a bottle of habanero sauce into the soup of Mary Poppins. No seriously. He pranked the holy fuck out of Mary Poppins when he happened upon her in a retirement home, when his class was going 'round singing carols to the elderly during Christmas. Using her magic, Poppins thrust a curse onto Scoville. He would never more be able to suffer the delicious pain of spicy foods, eternally immune to the heat. Unfortunately the curse backfired. Poppins, in her old age, was too much of a senile old bat to realize that he had used too much juice. He not only gave Scoville an immunity to heat, but also absolute control over it.

I'll have to pass.

I thought up a new Viking-like character after playing For Honor. He's as jolly as Saint Nick and loves to fight. He seemingly has no self preservation instinct (and people think Evvie's bad at that). He seems crazy at first like having crazy laughter but he's actually sane, just eccentric. He may seem like a bad guy being able to laugh on a battlefield but it's just his culture and personality. hes probably chaotic neutral or chaotic good but does some pillaging (on bad guys).

Come to think of it he might actually get along with Evvie very well. She's only five feet and he's like eight feet so kid of silly seeing them come in side by side to the battle. "I could punt you, little one!" Is likely something he'd say to her at first meeting but then they get to respecting each other.

Edit: but Evvie is much more powerful than how I originally envision him so that would mess with the dynamic of rivals. Not that it would mean it's impossible. Perhaps he can have a combat high that increases his powers as he psychs himself out, like the hulk but based on psych/guts/what have you. Maybe at his most powerful he can be a fourth as powerful as her base form, which means he could defeat her fair and square once in a blue moon.

His power seems possibly similar to another character on here. Who was it? He matches his opponents power, I think. I apologize if this guy seems too similar to him.

When him and Evvie team up it could be for some "hairbrained suicidal plan" that the enemy doesn't believe anyone is crazy enough to try, but then they remember those two are in the area so scramble to intercept them.

Edit: somehow the image of her riding on his shoulders into battle entered my mind and it's adorable. They are in semi chibi style.
