@PrivateVentures I was just saying the story felt very 1 dimensional based on the idea you chose. I mean with your further explanation it gives more depth than what was in the OP. It a not an idea I would run with but if enough people like it I'm in because I'm down to try anything.

P.s. only reason I suggested student use is because their different reasons for being there could effect their traits and susceptibility to the possession.

@PrivateVentures see I don't think playing as demons who control the minds of students pans out very well. Minipulation of the mind is a hard thing to stick with in that stand point. I think I'm a alternate perspective it could work of you have some students who are true to their deity and than introduce others who are corded into those school through foster care or parental forces religion. In my opinion if there is more dimension to legitimate character building than you have a broader perspective on background and what alters the mind. Than through progression you introduce the aspect of some form of evil. Maybe there is a character who is basically the antichrist or maybe the few nonbelievers that were forced into the school begin to try and alter the others just for the fun of it.

Alexander(the true face behind the two personalities) broke free from his shell briefly and ran after bane. "Stop for a moment" he said trotting after the other colt. His voice having suddenly shifting to something different than what was already heard. He ran up to bane and cut him off and pounced in to hug him. "your not a monster" he said while heartedly with tears welling up in his eyes. "trust me....I know monsters" his words came from a dark and personal place. Being a pony of split personality he was looked down on as crazy and monsterous by most otherponies around ponyville. It may be a weird place but it seemed he was too much even for the strange inhabitants of this small town.

His personalities had once taken over his entire life having been 6 or 7 of them. Most faded off.....or at least it seemed for now (dun dun dun. Forshadowing) he backed away and looked down to the ground as his tears rolled from his snout. "don't ever call yourself a monster just because your scared of your own power." he said as his eyes narrowed and he stopped his hoof looking bane in the face. "don't act like you are a monster when you probably have no idea!!" his eyes water heavily and tears poured down his face as he shouted at The other colt. Turning the other way he looked up to the sky and sighed as his mind slowly switched away from his own true self.

Damian stamped his hoof to the ground in frustration. "well than I guess I'm going with you!!" he shouted angerly as he led the way into the forest. "nopony should ever travel through the everfree alone." he said nervously. Due to his rather intense lecture Damian chose not to speak of traversing the entire forest alone when he was younger. Though they weren't inherently older now, living alone Damian had done quite a bit in his few years of life.

Looking back at Bane he huffed "are you comming or what? he said as he continued forward, further traversing into the entrance. As the two continued he noticed a couple pegasi flying overhead and one of them appeared to be a scout from the RECC. "look out" he said quietly as he tackled him down into the bushes, once again putting the two into an awkward position. His face turned near red as he tried to hold his composure. Placing a hoof over bane's snout he shushed him."we have to stay quiet and wait for them to pass" he whispered looking up into the sky. Hoping his hoodie would keep his white coat from standing out in the bush.

"hey wait" with a cheerful giggle chasing after him. He had noticed the shy contact from the other colt so he was intrigued to befriend him. Chasing after him He noticed the direction they were headed and he suddenly and frantically sped up. "no, wait, stop" he shouted tackling the other colt to the ground. "You shouldn't go there!" he exclaimed. Angelic wanted to make sure the colt was well aware of the fact the forest dangerous.

"You deffinatly shouldn't go al-" his sentence stopped very abrubptly as his mood suddenly shifted and now Damian realized the appearance of the compromising position he was in having tackled bane to the ground. There eyes locked again and the young colt blushed bright red and he pushed off of bane scooting his self backwards. "Oh my Luna. I am so sorry.....i-i.....I don't......gosh.....that's embarassing" his words were sparatic and out of place as he tried to apologize and explain himself before falling scilent and covering his deep red face with his hood.

He scuffed his hoof nervously in the dirt shying away from bane. Damian had no idea what to think right now. Should he keep his attraction a secret? For now that seemed like the best plan as he looked up again and let out a sigh.Damian cleared his throat trying to prepare himself to recover his lecture. On the everfree."yeah.....cough cough.....So....the everfree is dangerous and you should never go in, especially not alone." he said trying to make his voice sound a bit more masculine
