hello there

As Jessica looked around the car she was startled to find a cat sniffing her. It looked soft but she refrained from touching it to be polite to the owner, who she realized was also some sort of hybrid. She thus let the cat keep sniffing her.
After getting onto the train Jessica sat quietly and quickly in the first seat she saw. She had with her two art tubes filled with posters, a suitcase of SURPRISINGLY clothes and a backpack covered in pins with sayings like,
“Keep calm it's just the end of the world”,”look alive sunshine”, band names, song quotes, and sarcastic jokes.
The backpack itself contained notebooks and two books entitled, Just What Kind of Mother are you? (not a book about parenting it's a crime book) and Dragon slippers. The backpack also contained a violin case and a ziplock bag of sharpies in various colors as well as two others each filled with red and black as those are the colors she used the most.

She spent most of the time looking out the window and listening in on people's thoughts to see who was there for the school and who was just going on the train for the lovely view.
One of them seemed nervous but then started reading a book, another was shy while the one close to her seemed assertive but not in an aggressive way, another she couldn't figure out quite yet but she overheard him introducing himself as Blade. Another one was a girl that was mostly thinking of her hangover. Then when she got into the car she just looked around at the other children and tried to figure out what powers the rest of them had. One obviously had flight with wings, another was some type of demonic, and the rest were a mystery without reading their minds. However, she did not want to do so. The whole invasion of privacy thing didn't bother her but she didn't want to hear so many people at once. She instead thought about how she was going to hang her posters.

@Overlord24I would never kill a character without permission!would do some mind reading though.
Name: Jessica Black
Appearance:

Age:15
Ability: Death Inducement, mind reading

Personality: She keeps to herself and loves to write, but most of the stuff she writes about is quite disturbing so no one gets farther than a chapter. She likes to talk to people and she used to be on her school's speech team until she caused a judge to die because they gave her a higher score than she should have gotten because he thought she was pretty. She doesn't like when people don’t lay fair. So she doesn't play or watch sports. She likes music, mostly pop punk. She likes the sounds of moving water especially rain and streams.

Other: She can play the violin. She killed her parents after she found out they were scamming people on the internet for credit cards.
This is still open right?
Currently where I am right now in writing is my character is sitting in a corner rocking back and forth because he doesn't know how everyone around him is thinking.
Waking up to the sound of rustling papers and ink bottles clinking was a morning ritual for the third prince. Balthazar liked to say he kept his room tidy without the help of servants. However, in reality, it was just so the staff would stop going through his stuff while they were cleaning. He had severe paranoia to the point where he trusted no one, and to the extent, he keeps the fact he's paranoid to himself. He also knew that most of the staff gossiped about him and minimizing their exposure to his private life was considered the best course of action. So when he woke up in his bed and spilled an ink bottle in the process it was a surprise to no one. What was a surprise to Balthazar was that he woke up in his bed. He usually tried to sleep, couldn't, and wrote poetry until he fell asleep on one of his three desks covered in parchment, quills, and ink bottles. However, this morning he woke startled by the fact he was sleeping in his own bed, leading him to fall out of his bed, covers and all, and knocked over an ink bottle in the process. His entire room is covered in writing supplies except for the fireplace and his piano because he doesn't want any of it to burn and he is fond of his piano. Before he goes to breakfast he washes his hands in his basin (to avoid getting ink on the keys), and plays his piano a little. Although he cannot read music, he knows exactly how every key sounds. He plays two songs leaves and brings his breakfast to the garden. He finds a part of the garden with a tree (that has the least amount of bees) and sat down to eat his omelet. After finishing he pulled out some of his poetry to review for spelling and grammatical errors. After finding only a few missing commas he decided to go back inside. There he found servants bustling through the halls and thankfully not giving him the time of day as he hummed through the halls avoiding his brothers and fathers rooms completely while heading towards the library to finish reading all of the owned fantasy books again for the fifteenth time. This was much to the bookkeeper's dismay who repeatedly stated,
“If you would stop rereading those fantasy books you would have read the whole library by now!”
Which was true but that didn't mean that his highness was going to do it.
