Current You know, I'm in 4 RPs that are basically still going, yet they're all slowing down in unison. IN UNISON.

Now that I recall it, Tzi will likely become a key member of the group later on. His knowledge of the sea shall be a great aid to the party.

Please tell me this won't turn into War Notes: Waterworld, starring Kevin Costner Tzi Ti'amtum.
Obviously, I'm still here, having just posted.
Siran Vahramyan Arshakuni

The answer she got was mildly pleasing; the Prince wasn't able to give her a solid figure, but he seemed sure they would be gone for some time. In fact, perhaps the uncertainty surrounding the length of their journey meant they might be absent longer than they anticipated, which suited Siran just fine. What was strange to note is that mention of traveling by sea seemed to trouble the Prince. This was less than ideal; if the Prince had no stomach for the traveling, then their expedition might end prematurely. That was the last thing Siran wanted, but as it stood, she had no way of doing anything about it other than hoping it didn't come to that.

Soon enough, some knight entered the hall, presumedly someone already known to the Prince's cohorts, since he seemed to be partly in charge of their arrangements. He announced that it was time for them all to leave. Siran was more than fine with getting on the road right now. At the mention of horses, her thoughts moved to those of her own horse, Karabakh. "I have my own horse. If someone needs one, let them have the one prepared for me." She spoke aloud. The thought of using a horse other than Karabakh was absurd to her; she'd had him since before her clan was chased from Ibion and he was probably the greatest friend she had. Not to mention she had severe doubts that any of the random horses these people had as spares could compare to an Arshakuni royal warhorse, bred and raised for battle. If there were no objections, she would be out the door as quickly as anyone else and swiftly to her horse, more than ready to make the ride to the port.
Leon Brandeau

It turned out Gradon was in better shape than Leon had expected, which was just fine by him. He was a little concerned by how Leblanc was carrying him, however, but that ended up being moot when Gradon suddenly jolted awake, seemingly no worse for wear. Leon was disturbed by the turn the conversation took upon his revival though; he wasn't much for innuendo, and he could only guess that Leblanc had something filthy on the mind as she spoke. Whatever was going on with them, Leon wanted no part of it. He would leave Leblanc, Esther and Gradon to do whatever it was they were talking about.

Of more interest to him was the arrival of their Captain. Her arrival came with the even more shocking discovery that Viola was her sister. "Who's that, Leon?" Anton asked him as he returned from rebuking his comrades.

"That's our Captain. She came with us to the fort." Leon told him.

"Oh, so she was there for the ghosts and s-"

"Yes." Leon quickly cut him off. "She was. Don't mention it again." He still couldn't believe Tzi had blabbed about that so casually. Now even Anton knew about the strange events of their patrol. He didn't expect it to matter that Anton knew, but goodness knew they shouldn't have told anyone.

Upon the tolling of the bells, Anton told him, "That's the signal that the review is beginning. But they weren't supposed to arrive until later..."

"Is this going to be a problem?" Leon asked him. There had been so much chaos since their arrival, he imagined it would have a poor impact on the fort's appearance.

"Maybe. But chances are it could just be some half-arsed officer who doesn't care too much. Still, try to look sharp." Anton's semi carefree attitude towards it all ended up being poorly considered, as the Imperial Princess of all people appeared to be the one leading the review. Anton hastily stood at attention and saluted her as she arrived, with Leon following suit. She announced indirectly that they would all be lodged in Orello village to get them out of the fort's way before leaving to further inspect the fort. With her gone, Leon relaxed, though Anton was less so.

"Bloody hell. We didn't know it was going to be the princess showing up. Look, I should probably go help and try to salvage this mess. You have fun vacationing in the village, eh Leon?" He gave Leon a final pat on the shoulder before leaving in a hurry, with Leon waving him goodbye. He felt bad for him, knowing he was probably going to have a hell of a time with this review, but he was still dwelling on the sudden arrival of the princess. He wondered why such an important person would be sent to review a fort. He would have thought that a review like this would only be important if they were expecting Orello to be ready for something...like a war. Leon hoped that was just his imagination going wild, but he was still certain there had to be a reason for this visit, especially since nobody seemed to know Ires was the one coming.

Approaching their Captain, Leon spoke to her. "Um, Captain, if I might ask; did you know anything about this?" He had already suspected she might have known about the review, though he wasn't a hundred percent certain. However, given he knew as well as anyone that Ires was a student of Cadenza until recently, he wondered if it wasn't possible she knew it was her that was coming here too. It was just idle speculation on his part, however, and he would have to take his Captain's word for it.

@KoL
@VitaVitaAR Before I go doing anything, I have one question; was there a particular result that was needed from the Shadowrender conversation? I mean, we were getting some information out of her, but I wasn't sure if it was building up to anything or not. If not, then I think it would be easy to just have my character leave at this point and do something else, and NightinGem's character can be written off pretty easily from there. Of course, it's another story if you were hoping for a different outcome.

@TheHangedMan Would you say your character's strength has been passed down the Kaneko family line for generations?

As the harpoon came back towards him, Danh simply reeled it back in silently; it didn't matter what state it was in, once he started reeling it in, it was essentially back under his control. But now, Danh was starting to get a little ticked off. Lorken was barely testing him, and was either letting his hits connect to test them or swatting them away like they were nothing. He almost felt disrespected; he had trained like all hell to get ready for the UA entrance exam, only for this asshole to make it seem like he'd done it all for nothing. Of course, it was all for nothing, seeing as he was forced to attend this school for losers rather than the real deal, but now he was being treated like he couldn't even face up to the loser entrance exam. It felt like somebody, somewhere, was denying him all his hard work.

With a newly found ire, Danh brought out his rightmost harpoon and tied it at half length around his right hand, with the end with the harpoon head attached in his left. He had effectively created a whip-like weapon out of this arrangement. Now he advanced on Lorken, intent on swinging at him with all the force he had. He was going to maintain an offensive on Lorken with all the strength he had built up for the real exam until either Lorken cracked or gave him an opening for a more refined attack.

@Zelosse
@DracoLunaris We're an Empire, and we all know Empires are always evil. This was an inevitable conclusion.
Seeing as I was in a scene with NightinGem, what do I do? I mean, under other circumstances, I'd easily just move along, but their character was kind of driving the scene with their "seeing colours" mumbo jumbo.

@Zelosse With all the shit Lorken's taking, this RP should be called Boku no Masochist.

If that's the only problem, maybe he could say it just jammed?
