Welcome to RPGuild, @Minute! Hopefully we'll be able to clean off all that rusty creative writing equipment you've got. And don't worry about being too busy; most of the RPs here tend to move pretty slowly (the last IC post on one I'm in was more than 2 weeks ago!), so just getting out one good post a week is usually enough, in my experience. Unless it says otherwise, of course.

That's good to know, thanks!
@Minute I'd take you up on the Naruto one, but I have exams. If I'm finished with them, do you think you'll be free still? I'm having one tomorrow, and I should be as good as free after that.

Of course I would be, thank you for your interest, and see you then! :)
Hello world!

I'm in a rather lighthearted mood this afternoon, and thought back on something I would enjoy playing with: how ridiculous a 'enemy mine' rivalry would end up if repeated reincarnations or even immortality (or both!) were involved. Obliviously character building and absurd timelines would be present in this little endeavor, but I would like to also add in some world lore and a good amount of angst turning into humor to the mix. Still, I suppose I should tell you about my expectations before I go on further, so here goes a little introduction and wish list of sort for my dream partner:

I'm Minute and have been away from creative writing for a long time now. While rusty, I'm eager to start up the madness again and since I'll attempt a go at a proper education soon, I figured I needed all the hobbies I could get to unfry my brain. I'm 25 currently, and enjoy playing as many type of characters as I can think up (genders and sexual orientations included). Romance is absolutely not a must in my rps, and I mainly want someone friendly, OOCly active, patient for spotty muses and finally creative enough so that any rp we start is as much theirs as it is mine.

We good? Great! Now, if you prefer original characters and settings, you can already hit me up right away; if you would be interested in some fandoms, stay tuned!

...Well, by fandoms that means mainly three of them; one being massively known and the other kinda obscure. Anyways, here they are!

Naruto - Ashura VS Indra
The cycle of their reincarnation goes on and on and on, but while forgetfulness and a racing pulse make it too easy to push aside their misgivings while alive, the stretches of time between each reincarnation makes it for quite an interesting show indeed! Antagonistic Bromance, Flangst, possibility of Indra failing at taking attention away from his Zetsu (and jealousy)-induced douchey behavior.

Pandora Hearts - Glen VS Jack
Immortality? Check. Suspiciously identical reincarnation schedule? Check. What would have happened in this incredible catfight if it would have been allowed to go on much longer than a mere hundred years? Bitching, grudge, creepily polite insults and death threats and general Lacie worship.

Final Fantasy - Cloud VS Sephiroth
Huehuehue... mako and JENOVA-cells immortality, annoyingly persistent world ending attempts, bad hair days... need I say more?
@MinuteI like you already.
I was going to call you 'mortal', but you haven't yet told us what sort of creature or entity you are, so I can't.

What would be the fun in telling that from the get go? ;)

@Minute

Hey there if you ever want to roleplay take a look at my roleplay 1x1 interest check!

Thank you, I'll be happy to do so!
The Hero has fallen. A replacement must be found.

In a land where peace is only possible under the watch of the almighty defender of the People, becoming the Hero is a dream held by many yet reachable by only a very few; Among all the kingdoms of the known world, only the best are given the chance to rise. You were one of those blessed candidates.

While you were chosen to stand before the Hero's grave, you were already feeling the heavy gaze of your rivals. Only one Hero can exist at any time, after all, and while all of you hold great strength and valor, the Hero's Trial is known to show the darker shades of everyone - even the best of them. During these trying times, your people will demand many things from you: an incorruptible will, a clever mind, an enduring body and a pure soul. You must give them that, and never let your desires lead you away from your path... or suffer a fall from grace which you will never recover from.

Your rivals are great indeed, yet they are still only human. Surely you will prevail, surely you will find them wanting? You must, for only one will become the Hero. Only one will not be worthless.

So tell me, who will hold the sacred blade and slay the Demon Lord in the end?

Hello, RPG!

This idea attacked me while listening to a rather vicious Vocaloid song, and with it I have now a vague idea of where I would like this potential rp to go: we will all craft a character representing 'Good does not mean nice', a paragon of virtue full of drive to succeed and ruthless resolve to remove the competition to their chosen path. I'm particularly looking forward to a diverse yet similar cast being pitted together in a battle royale of sort, I admit!

For now I'm looking to gauge interest in this idea of mine, and fish for suggestions, advice and random ideas to make the initial setting into a masterpiece. If you got anything to say, please do so here and than you for your time! :)
I'm Minute, and I'll try to outline what you may want to know about me as smoothly as possible, so let's get started shall we?

I'm rusted all over when it comes to roleplays or even creative writing, but I decided today to make the first step to get back into gear so to speak. I loved plotting most back in the day, and character building was also rather fun when done right. Medieval Fantasy and Modern were the settings I toyed around most, but I would also be up for some soft historical or equally soft sci-fi right about now. My pet peeve is still those notions that someone can only write their own gender, and as such I always preferred when my partners could and were willing to play either genders and indeed a wide range of character types. Finally, I'm in my mid twenties and will get moderately busy from next week on.

Hopefully I'll find some cool partners in here!
