After finding their seats, the three of them set and silence for a short time taking in their surroundings. Jericho had been in large scale halls like this before, but this was different. The room felt alive with so many magic users in one place.

There's a lot of people here.
A lot of life.
Do you think there's anyone like me?
No.
You don't think there are any other healers?
I don't think there are any other necromancers.
I'm not a necromancer

Finally Jericho spoke.

"So what can you guys do?"
@MissCapnCrunch
No worries haha.
Though he tried to keep his expression relatively neutral and friendly, Jericho realized that he was wearing a surprised look. He hadn't expected the first woman to respond in such away, but maybe he'd come off as too intrusive.

I should work on that... he thought.

He gave the women a weak smile and replied, "Jericho, my name is Jericho. It's nice to meet you."

He glanced behind Brionna towards Katherin and now saw the cane she carried.
She's carrying it out in the open, how did you not notice that?
You're not as perceptive as you think
I didn't think I was very perceptive in the first place
Good because you aren't
I... wait stop talking to yourself, get out of your head

Jericho shook his head a little and realized he had been standing awkwardly in from of the two women for a good thirty seconds without speaking.

"Sorry, we should probably get inside. I think the orientation is supposed to start soon."
Looking over his shoulder, Jericho noticed two women coming towards the gym. One walked with her hand on the other's shoulder. As this isn't something you see everyday, he paused at the opening to the gym.

"Are you two OK?" he said as they came within ear shot "I don't usually see people being lead in quite that fashion."
@MissCapnCrunch@KatherinWinterthat thing that pirate lady said^
Jericho stood outside of the gym watching the other students pour inside. He had never been around other magic users before and the sheer number startled him.
He looked down at the wilted dandelion in his hand. Closing his eyes, he took a deep breath. The flower uncurled itself as his breath filled his lungs. Exhaling, the flower curled itself back into the slightly browned wilting thing it had been a moment before. It was a focus technique that he had made up in middle school. He repeated this twice more before dropping it on the ground and heading for the door to the gymnasium.
Name: Jericho Sangros

Age: 19

Powers:
Healer/Necromancer
Animating small dead things, he can revive someone/thing that has died recently but it exists in a sort of "unlife". It will decay with time until the body can no longer contain the soul. He can summon/communicate with spirits.
His powers are pretty taxing on him. Small things aren't too much of a problem, but larger constructs/healing spells/summons can drain him pretty fast.

Appearance:
Male
6'0~
Caucasian
Messy light brown hair
Green Eyes

Bio:
Jericho Sangros was born and raised in suburbia. The second son of a middle class family that loved pets. On his fifth birthday his parents presented him with his first pet; a finch. The delighted child would watch the bird for hours as it jumped and flitted around his room. A few weeks passed before the incident with his brother’s cat occurred. While playing with his bird, the cat wandered into the room and began swatting at the now terrified bird. Although it managed to get away from the cat, the finch’s wing was visibly broken and he could no longer fly.
That night Jericho gently took the bird from it’s cage and used magic for the first time. A clear image of the bird flying around his room entered his mind followed by bones popping themselves together. As this happened a warmth grew in his chest. He inhaled deeply, imagined the warmth leaving his chest through his arms, and exhaled. The bird looked up at him, then at its wing. Its wing twitched slightly which was more movement than it had shown since the accident. Again he placed the imagine in his mind and tried again.
It was crude, but by the end of the night the finch was able to flutter a few inches off the ground. Happy and exhausted he went to bed dreaming of the other things he could do if he set his mind to it.
Over the following 13 years, Jericho attended public schools. During the day he would attend school as a normal child, while at night he would hone his healing abilities and experiment with other forms of magic. He tried “healing” something that had been long dead to no avail. Instead he found he could animate the bones if he tried hard enough. While he was able to bring back something that was more recently dead, it wasn’t true life and would slowly rot as time and the environment took its toll. This blossomed into a deep respect for life and death as well as an interest in anatomy and physiology.
His experiments have given him a very logic approach to things. He is passionate but strives for objectivity in his thoughts and actions. Now in college, Jericho hopes to increase his knowledge on both anatomy and magic as well as find a safe place to conduct his experiments. (none of the experiments involve murder..I know necromancy has a bit of a stigma.)
This is my first time posting ^_^
Not my first time roleplaying though.
