I've only been a member for a few weeks, but I'm definitely interested if you don't mind my not being around during the Guildfall.
I apologize for my recent absence. Stuff has been happening in real life, and I just couldn't find time for the internet. Things are settling down now, so hopefully I'll be capable of more activity in the next few weeks. In the future, I'll try to get word to you guys next time something like this happens, but my schoolwork can be pretty unpredictable, and I have quite a few sites to juggle. I hope my sudden disappearance wasn't a problem.
Interested. My CS should be up sometime tomorrow.
Agimar stared at the portal in a kind of stunned disbelief. The angels would let demons, upstarts, and gods alike into the sanctuary kept from them for so long? He shook his head. This had to be some elaborate trap. However, much to Agimar's surprise, it seemed that the spirits had appeared beside Thirianna largely unharmed. If the portal was a trap waiting to be sprung, is seemed Agimar would be needed to spring it. He contemplated Aett for a moment, wondering whether it was truly a good idea to follow the others through its rippling surface. "Well, better late than never." He spoke, even if there was nobody else there to hear him. It was something he had picked up in Hades, largely because he tended to avoid the other demons. He really needed to break himself of that. Agimar shook himself out of the brief reverie and walked into Aett.
Sorry about being late into Aett. I have a feeling my time zone is a little off, it seems everyone else is posting when I'm asleep. Anyway, I'll write my post now.
Agimar walked through the archway, wings folded behind him. He took a cursory glance at the figures filling the room, noticing that many of the Ancients had arrived earlier. Probably much earlier. He shook his head, giving a small sigh. Well, it couldn't be helped. Not everyone had power to spare for instant travel. "Well, I seem to be rather late." Agimar lowered the cloak's hood, mostly as an afterthought. There would be some at this gathering who recognized him, regardless of whether he showed himself. He took some time to examine the others a little more thoroughly. Hiraga, Thirianna, and Kyras, of course. One could hardly expect the "guardians" to miss such a gathering. Neveras was present, as well. That would be...awkward. And Danives just had to come, didn't he? No matter. That conflict would hopefully be resolving itself soon. Then there was Yakushi. Not the biggest threat, but there was little doubt her knowledge could make waves, for better or for worse. Voana, Itone, and Sohena, on the other hand.... Well, he would need to be careful around him. The upstarts were beneath his notice, for the most part, but his eyes did linger slightly on the goblin. What was his name again?Dust? Well, regardless of allegiances, it was nice to see that he wasn't the only one who had bothered coming.
Hrm, I knew I should have waited for the others before bumping :T
To clarify, I wouldn't be upset or anything if people don't want to deal with a new player, seeing how far you've gotten in the OOC and all that. I just wanted to ask if you guys would be open to having me, in which case I'll do my research and jump in.
I would probably be interested in joining, if there's still space. My character would probably be a Vexi, or maybe an older-model Hephaeton. However, the personality I have in mind for the Hephaeton mainly depends upon the development of AI technology (How long ago was it perfected, what order personality features were developed in, et cetera).
All of these gigantic posts.... I submitted my response, but I'm afraid it doesn't hold a candle to the pieces everyone else seems to be writing. It'll probably get better with time, considering I just migrated from an environment where two-liners were the norm, but I hope all of you can bear with me until I can work up to what you're posting.
Agimar traveled to the tower in his human form. While the general idea, of course, was to pass unnoticed, he couldn't resist adding a few...improvements. After all, this would likely be the first real gathering of the gods since the fall of the Golden One. A demon had to keep up appearances, didn't he? A few scales here, a claw or two there, and of course those red, light-devouring eyes he was so fond of. It was worth having to wear a cloak. The heat was, of course, a nonissue. The desert was less than a candle to the flames of Hades. As the tower of broken dreams rose on the horizon, Agimar again turned his thoughts to the summons. One could only wonder what the angels had in mind. Especially when they invited the upstarts. They were spirits, yes, but little better than mortals. The matter at hand must be truly important, if the angels had summoned them. Regardless, Agimar was grateful for the meeting, in his own way. The spirits stirred, and they always tended to create opportunities in the stirring. He knew there would be power to be had for those who sought it, Golden Orb or no. Agimar broke away from the caravan he was traveling with, impatient at the thought of what might already be happening behind inside closed doors. Of course, now that he thought about it, it wouldn't matter if the humans recognized him, this close to the tower. With that thought, Agimar let a little more of his "godly" form come through, unfurling two monstrous wings. They would probably cut the remaining time in half, at the very least. He took off, ignoring the screams coming from the humans below.
