Armin turned to walk out. "Come find me if you need anything!" he called, and he walked out.

Eiko smiled. "Come on, I'll show you where you'll be sleeping." he said, beginning to walk down the open hall between the bunkin sectors.

Eren chuckled a bit.

"Right behind you," Takahisa said as he followed Eiko, this all felt like the time when Takahisa first got to meet the other Pact Bearers shortly after gaining the pact from his brother.

While Kaika and Peyton seemed to have settled down from their antics and just happened to start playing some game against each other, Umiya decided to sit down at the table and began to craft origami cranes. It seemed like Nero had already went to a room alone, probably going to research on when they could send Kaika and Eren back into Eren's dimension.

"So...I suppose the transition to this dimension is quite much for you," Umiya said as she was precisely and carefully making these origami cranes.

Eiko led him to a sector where 4 bunks were, one in each corner, and there were six other boys sitting/laying on one of the bunks talking. Eiko cleared his throat, which made the boys turn around. Eiko smiled. "Guys, this is Takahisa... he'll be bunking in our sector for a while.."

Eren nodded. "Y-yeah... a little.."

"Change is never always easy, even for us," Umiya said as she finished making the paper crane. As if this was a way to get to know him more, Umiya broke the silence between them again. "Apologies if this seems...sudden, but I think this could be a way so I know how exactly your mindset is. So...listen carefully," Umiya said as she recited,"'A natural state, I'm sought by all. Go without me, and you shall fall. You do me when you spend, and use me when you eat to no end. What am I?'" It seemed like she was trying to see what kind of response Eren would say, and that would determine his personality for her. Then again, Umiya's riddles were always so tricky that some people are just lost by her choosing of words.

Too shy to even much, Takahisa only waved his hand at them.

Eren bit his lip. "Is there even a right answer to that?"

Eiko set a hand on Takahisa's shoulder. "You should go around and meet some people. Who knows, maybe you'll make some friends in Rivaille Heichou's faction."

"Multiple. It all depends on interpretation," Umiya gently smiled, just having a knack for mind-boggling riddles like that.

"Oh, okay. There's still a lot of people I haven't met yet," Takahisa said with a nod, going out of the dorm but keeping his bag with him at all times.

(Time for some bad guy action, someone from Kaika's dimension)
Outside the HQ of the Survey Corps, there was an injured woman that was literally struggling to crawl her way to any kind of safety. She wore a brown hooded cloak, and her face was towards the ground, so no one would see her head or face until they lifted her hood up. Her injuries consisted of a completely broken left leg, several broken ribs, and blood dripped from her face as there was smeared blood stains all over the ground from what it seemed to be. She let out groans of pain, on the verge of death, and the slight murmurs of "help me..."

Eiko watched him go and then went back to his work.

A loud noise was made in the next dorm building over.

---

Eren thought for a minute. "I'm thinking that maybe the answer would be the mind...." he said.

---

Jean heard this and looked around. He spotted the woman and ran over. "Hello?" he called.

"A viable answer. Surely enough, without the mind, we wouldn't be capable of the things we do. Here's my interpretation on the riddle. Balance. If we depend on something too much, then we'll never learn to live as independent people. If we don't take much of something, then we'll struggle to live. If we have the right amount of something, then everything is in harmony," Umiya explained, as if these riddles were a way of thinking of life in the arrangement of words.

Takahisa heard the loud noise and headed for that dorm building where he heard it.

"....is....is there someone....here?....please..." the woman cried out, lying on the ground as if she were left out here to die. Yet, as she laid down on the ground, Jean wouldn't see her face because of the brown hooded coat she wore, but she seemed to bleed...a lot.

Eren nodded, "Oh, I see."

On the door of the building, a sign said "Doctor Zoë/ Faction 4 Trainees" Inside, a bunch of trainees were running around and goofing around.

Jean saw the woman and ran over to her. "Ma'am, are you alright?"

Just as Eren and Umiya finished the riddle, Nero had come out of his room after figuring a bit out. "Kaika, can you come over here? Same with Eren," Nero said, knowing that both Kaika and Eren were linked.

"Er...." Takahisa said as he went inside the dorm building and saw this.

---

"Them....the....the Titans.....they....they did this....to me...." The woman said in pain, somewhat referencing the Female Titan.

Eren nodded, standing. "What is it?"

One of the recruits threw a pillow at Takahisa.

---

Jean tried to help her uo. "Let's get you inside..."

"....t-thank you..." the woman says as she struggled to get up, even with his help.The hood covered quite much of her face, except her mouth. Except, for a split second there was a smile on her face, and it wasn't a grateful smile...more like a...smirk actually. In that moment alone, the woman pulled out a small knife from her sleeve and stabbed Jean in the stomach. Of course, he would become her hostage, so she tried to at least stab him somewhere that wouldn't be fatal but it would still hurt.

He wasn't that defensive when the pillow hit him, it sorta reminded him of his childhood before receiving the pact, remembering that he would always have pillow fights with his friends. Takahisa chuckled a bit as he picked up the pillow on the ground and threw the pillow at one of the trainees.

"So I did some research on how to send you back to your respective dimension, and it is necessary that your soul stays linked to Kaika's until you return to your dimension. Now, this is the problem. Kaika, I suppose you remember that you and Peyton worked on creating the Warp Gem, correct?" Nero spoke with a serious tone.

"Er...yeah. I did that," Kaika says.

"And how long did that take you?" Nero asked with an eyebrow raised.

"About a week....wait, are you trying to say that it would take a week to make another Warp Gem?" Kaika said and finally caught on what Nero was trying to point out.

"Hopefully it is only a week and not longer. I'll focus on making the Warp Gem this time around, and I suppose you wouldn't mind keeping an eye on Eren. Your souls are linked, which means that if one of you is hurt, the other will feel their pain," Nero nodded.

"Of course I can do that, but you're making me feel like a babysitter now," Kaika said, seeing how things were starting to look like for their current situation.

Jean gasped and fell to the ground. He gripped where she had stabbed him, grimacing at the pain.

Eren listened quietly.

A girl recruit came up behind Takahisa and wrapped her arms around his shoulders, covering his eyes with a cloth. "Hi!" she giggled.

The woman stood up, as if her pain were only a ruse. "Emotions are always prone to weakness, fooled so easily," the woman says with a sadistic smile on her face, and ruthlessly drags Jean with her by grabbing him by the throat. She headed into the HQ, not caring if she was walking in with an injured Jean.

"I'm sure you'll make sure he isn't harmed. Remember, as your soul is linked with his, Shadow Replicas would aim to kill him as well as those would aim to kill you," Nero said.

"Alright. But wait...doesn't this mean he has to come with me for some missions and school?" Kaika said and realized something.

"Yes, that's correct," Nero nodded.

"Er, hi!" Takahisa said in response to the girl.

Jean groaned in pain.

---

Eren bit his lip. "School? At our age? Back where I'm from, school ends when you become 12..." he said.

---

The girl tied the cloth around his head. "You must be the newbie Eiko was talking about. "Cute..."

As the woman walked, she ruthlessly threw Jean to the ground, her foot pressed on his back as she held her knife at his neck. Others would see this happen as she was doing this in their HQ.

---

"Yeah. Even if I'm 15 now, I still have two more years of school, and then four more years after that I have college to go through," Kaika pointed out how school was for her to Eren.

"I'll take care of making Eren a part of your classes for a week, he'll pose as a transfer student. Not to mention that tomorrow that you both have to go to school," Nero said as if this wasn't a problem.

---

"That's me," Takahisa said with a slight smile, still shy.

The soldiers around her froze and Jean cried out in pain.

---

Eren nodded. "Oh."

---

The girl giggled and ran her fingers over the cloth on his eyes. "Where you from?"

"I'll make this simple...I only have this one demand, and I'll guarantee his safety," the woman says with a sing-song voice, the knife held closer to Jean's neck,"Bring me two people. Their names are Kaika and Takahisa. Take too long, and I'll get really impatient and bored~. Who knows what would happen if it did take too long? Heheheheh..." She still kept the hood on, but her sadistic grin was always in sight. For a moment, her eyes could be seen as blood red before she pulled the hood down to hide those eyes.

"Oh...I...erm," Takahisa said, not sure on what to say so it seemed like he was just stammering with his words at this point.

"Well, that takes care of the school problem. However, as for the missions, there is one thing that came up today, and you two have to get on it right away," Nero said, going to the topic of Kaika's missions, which Eren would have to come due to their link.

"Sure thing, what is it?" Kaika asked.

"There's a certain place in the downtown area, the nightclub happens to have a dangerous amount of Shadow essence there. Of course, you will have to be careful of your actions there, we're not sure if it's just there or the people there are aware of this Shadow essence. The main objective there is to safely infiltrate the nightclub, destroy the source of the Shadow essence, get out without getting too much attention," Nero explained the basics of this mission.

"I can handle it, and I'm pretty sure that Eren's been through a ton of stuff so this doesn't seem to be that much to him either," Kaika said, assuming that Eren was okay with going along with this mission.

Eren looked around, listening.

The girl giggled. "Sooooo?"

Jean grimaced.

The soldiers acattered, looking around for them.

"...it's a secret," Takahisa said in a way that made it sound like he was joking.

"It's almost late anyways, so we can head over to that nightclub right away....after I get changed. I am not running around in my whole assassin outfit," Kaika said, and mentioning that she was still wearing that black combat outfit she wore. With that, Kaika went over to her room was in the house and changed. It wasn't long until Kaika walked out of the room now wearing a simple pink and white striped shirt, her jean jacket, and her short blue skirt and brown fur boots. Her two long ponytails went all the way down to her knees, tied by simple red ribbons.

"Hey, Peyton! Get your ass up, I need you to drive me to downtown at least," Kaika said as she flicked the blonde at the forehead, getting his attention as he was playing on his 3DS.

"Fine..." Peyton groaned as he saved his game and turned off the game system, yawning a bit.

As the soldiers searched, Kaika was nowhere to be found, but Takahisa would be a recognizable name to some as he was the newest addition here.

The woman only waited. She couldn't wait to fight these two again, Kaika and Takahisa. Kaika, because she was the only Pact Bearer to "defeat" her, it was fun for the woman to pretend that she was dead after Kaika gave the finishing blow. As for Takahisa, he was the poor little brother that witnessed this same woman kill his older brother, Monoso, and it would be amusing to see this little boy's rage upon seeing her. Regardless if she was paying much attention at all, she always held that knife to Jean's neck.
