Erika answered David, "They could also be androids, or terminators,"
Joan pointed out, "Erika, we're not in a Terminator movie!" Erika chuckled at Joan's response, causing May to shake her head. When David spoke and explained his view on the situation, May grumbled under her breath, "This could still be some huge hoax or conspiracy,"
May then asked "So these weirdoes think I'm this supposed princess. What do they think they're going to get out of this person? My family isn't going to pay any ransom,"

Soon she pulled up to the apartment complex, and turned off the car's engine. She and her friends hopped out, and started walking up stairs towards May's apartment.

David said "This isnt a hoax! I think the metal men are proof of that." David sighed and began to exaplain more. He said "The men who attacked you are from a occultic group of knights...they wanted you because, your soul has the power over all magic....You are the princess. Your her reincarnated. They dont care about money, they care about power, and they want the power you have in your soul." He got out and began following them. "As I said I am not joking."

May didn't answer David's defense replies as she stuck the key into the lock and opened the door. She led her friends, and David inside as she listened to his explanation about how she had great power within her soul. She asked skeptically, "Right. And if I have 'great power' in my soul, then explain why I'm not able to create...I dunno...a fireball in my hands or something,"
Joan asked "Hey...May? Shouldn't we contact your parents or the police about this?"
May paled at the mention of her parents and said "No! You know how they'll react if they hear about this!"

David loomed around the apartment and knew this place won't be safe soon. "Don't involve your parents... The more they don't know he safer you will be. Trust me. The Occultic knights will use your parents to get to you. The more they don't know the better." He sighed and rubbed his temples "Legend says when you red it most you will be able to use it." David sighed again and said "you want proof magic exists?" He took off the armor, and picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed his bare chest. He fell over dead but the wound closed and he got up and looked at them.

May answered him after he told her not to involve her parents, "Wasn't even planning on it," She raised an eyebrow when David answered her question, and she asked "Read it? Read what?".
However, he suddenly asked her if she wanted proof, and started to pick up a kitchen knife. As he did she asked warily "What are you-" before she could finish he stabbed himself and he fell over dead, causing Joan to scream, and for Erika to swear a curse word in shock. May's eyes were wide and her mouth was gaping open in shock. She saw that the wound closed itself and he was sitting up alive and well. It was as though he had never committed suicide.
She wanted to shout and yell at David for stupidly hurting himself, but she couldn't even speak. She had raised an index finger as she tried to say something, but nothing came out. She had grown pale and she commented "I need to sit down..." She then sat down in a chair and bent over, rubbing her temples. So it was real...She really had hoped that none of what just happened was real.

He put the armor back on and said "You see now that I tell no joke...I'm here to serve and protect My Lady May." He then apologized to Erika and Joan for scaring them. He got down and bowed to May. "My lady, I wished not to scare you like that...but now I hope that you will trust now..." David wondered what she would do now. David got up and looked at them

After a moment of silence and thinking on May's part, she asked David "Is there any way to get rid of this supposed power I have?" She really wanted to live a normal life, not to be locked away or hunted down. She figured that maybe getting rid of this supposed power would help her live a normal life. There was no sense in blaming David or the act of waking him up.

David frowned and could tell she wanted a normal life. "Yes but...you possibly won't survive it. The magic is connected to your soul. And even if you do survive it. It's likely the occulus knights will get revenge on you and your family...I promise to protect you My lady. I will do whatever I can to make you happy." David said "the knights won't attack now. They will make a plan first.'somwere safe for now."

After David spoke, May replied flatly while she rested her head in her hands, "Reassuring,"
Erika crossed her arms and commented "Well if he's going to be hanging around, he's going to need new clothes,"
Joan added "That's right...People don't wear metal armor these days, unless they're going to the Renaissance Fair,"
Erika pulled Joan by the wrist and said "Hey, May. We'll go get David clothes. Be right back," May didn't reply as they left.

David watched her and felt bad. He nods at Joan and Erika as they left. He knew he would need new clothing. Once they left DAvid asked May "My Lady, can I do anything for you right now? Any wish you have I will do it.." He thought to himself *will she ever remember her past? Will se remember who she used to be?*

May clenched her hands into fists, and she answered him, "No. Just...Just don't call me by any titles other than my name. I'm not your princess,"
She then stood up and grumbled irritably to herself, "I need tea..." She went to the small kitchen, filled a kettle with water, and placed it over the stove. And as she did, "If you want tea, you're welcome to it,"
As the water was being heated over the stove's flame, she picked out a small package of citrus tea.

David frowns now feeling had she did not yet remember her past life. The socerress warned him she wouldn't be the same person. "As you wish but even if you aren't the princess I still must follow your orders." David smiled "that sounds lovely..." He said smiling

After David accepted her offer, she picked out a second pack of tea and a second mug. She was slightly irritated at his first comment, about how he would still follow her orders. Was this guy dense? She wasn't his princess, therefore, he shouldn't be following any orders she gave. She didn't say anything though, getting the feeling that he wasn't going to listen to her at all. Soon the kettle was squealing, and she shut off the stove.
She poured the hot water into the mugs and handed him his mug full of tea.
