"I did this to Nate. I have to fix it." Hayley said as the shot charged fully up. "Release him! NOW!" Hayley exclaimed before releasing the arrow at incredible speeds, there was only a .001% chance the shot would not hit Nate." Hayley watched, not even breathing as she begged for the shot to work, for it to somehow knock him out so he could be contained and fixed.
Red Devil was a few buildings away watching the scene. He had been ordered to receive Hayley if she were to pass out or something so she wouldn't fall into the hands of the Justice League.

Jason sighed as the construct around Nathaniel was released and the arrow made contact. The chick had heart and skill and a ton of other things, but brilliant she was not. Still the attack managed to knock Nate out. "You did it!" He said quickly as he created a construct near Hayley in case she collapsed. "Green Lantern. Jason! Come in!" hal Jordan's voice rang through the ring. "Sup?" Asked Jason. "The White Lantern is almost here. Hold out a little longer." jason scoffed at the instruction. Like there was even a reason for the order.

Hayley fell onto her knees and began breathing again. She coughed a few times as her body was exhausted and her powers literally drained to what felt like an inch of her life. Hayley coughed and hid the fact that she coughed up some blood. She wouldn't allow herself to pass out. Not until she knew Nate was OK again.

"Look. You need to rest. There's no guarantee Nate will be okay for a little while. So just rest." Jason said calmly before letting out a sigh. "If it's any consolation. I can promise you he'll be alright when you wake up."

"No, I'm fine." Hayley said standing up and coughing some more. She began to sway before fading to black and falling to the side. Red Devil was already ready and he caught her before taking her with him running as fast as he could in case Jason pursued him.

"HEY WAIT!" Jason shouted. He tried to fly after but a hand stopped him. "We have bigger things to worry about kid." The White Lantern, Kyle Rayner, said calmly. "Gah... Fuck it. Let's do what we need to do." He said angrily.

Hayley was set onto a bed by Red Devil and then he went over to Deathstroke. "What do we do? She helped the enemy and almost killed herself. It's your choice?"

"Let her live. I still have use for her skills. Besides, now there's no need to worry about my dear grandson's Black Lantern corpse coming for me." Deathstroke said calmly. "Now help me get the machine into the assault vehicle and then we'll take her too. She'll be good leverage against the league." He said before turning to move the machine.

Red Devil nodded as he helped get the machine loaded before returning and retrieving Hayley and putting her in the vehicle also before getting in himself ready to leave.

Once everything was set up and prepped Deathstroke drove off leaving the old base empty and devoid of any signs that he and his pupils had ever been there.

"So where are we headed now?" Red Devil asked his master as he looked out the front window.
Hayley stayed unconscious but her mind was relieving her most recent fight and the day when Nate passed away. She unfortunately felt all the same pain she did then. Yet somehow she couldn't wake up. After forever of those memories replaying her mind went blank and all she could think of was if the White Lantern saved Nate.

Deathstroke chuckled as he prepped the machine for use. It had been about a week since the incident with the Black lanterns began. "Well Red Devil. From here we can do as we please." They were in a reinforced bunker on an unknown island. Nothing could get to them and once they were ready they could contact the world leaders. There would be a UN meeting soon and those apart of it among other world leaders would be there. That would be the perfect time. Deathstroke had been planning this for a while now. Though there were quite a few differences now compared to his original plan. Like Hayley. The Black Lantern invasion which was currently slowly being suppressed. "Make sure you're sister is okay in her cell. If she proves useless we'll kill her." He said calmly.

Hayley sat on the bed in her cell with her arms crossed over her chest. She was still contemplating on whether or not to use her powers to escape the cell but for now she had no choice but to wait and see if she should just wait it out. Red Devil walked up to the front of the cell. "Well look who's awake finally" Devil said smirking before speaking into the communicator. "Master she is awake, what should we do now."

"Don't do anything. Even if she tries to escape there's nowhere for her to go right now. And she can't contact anyone either." Deathstroke replied before turning to his computer and beginning to do a bit of work.
"Alright League. This mission is crucial. So we have to be sure to do everything right. Especially with Bart and Rose still away with other key members." Batman said calmly. He'd sent them on a mission in another quadrant of the galaxy just before the Black Lanterns showed up. It was important and very hush hush. They still didn't know Nate had been resurrected. "At least they've got a nice surprise waiting for them when they get back." Nate whispered to Jason who smirked. "Yeah man. And we can go look for your little girlfriend once the meeting is over too." Jason said with a small smirk. "It's not like that." Nate said before shutting up upon receiving a glare from the Bat,

"Got it." Devil spoke into the communicator one last time. "Have fun in prison sister." He said laughing as he walked away. "Look, give me one more chance to help you guys. Take me to Deathstroke tied up and just let me have one last chance." Hayley said "No." Devil said but Hayley continued persistently until he gave in. "Fine but if you do anything we won't hesitate in killing you." Devil said going in and tying her up before dragging her to Deathstroke. "She wants another chance and was persistent on coming to see you so she could get another chance." Red said to Deathstroke.

"Very well." Deathstroke said. "Mystique. Try to kill Red Devil. If you come even remotely close I'll give you a chance." He said in a rather cold uninterested tone. He didn't think she could do it after all and he had nothing for her to do currently. "The island is your battlefield."

(I don't know what to write but I know the outcome hehe so I'm going to skip writing it haha)
Red and Hayley fought for a good hour but in the end Hayley was beaten and she was thrown in front of Deathstroke, a gash on her right cheek and a wound from Devil's katana running from below her left ribs to about her belly button was her worst injury other than other scrapes and cuts along with a bunch of bruises. The katana wound although the worst was not deadly, it only cut slightly into the skin and would most definitely leave a scar but the small gash on her cheek would not leave a scar. "She was no match." Devil said simply, only a few scratches and bruises on him.

"I assumed so. Throw her back in the cage. It's almost time for the summit of world leaders and my announcement to them all." Deathstroke said calmly.

Nearly two hours later the summit began and on cue Deathstroke began his announcement, threatening the leaders of the world, the world itself and delivering his demands. And to add a bit of flare he added the part about being able to destroy the black lanterns.
The league had finished there meeting. And Jason and Nate were now officially off on their assignment. While the league fought off and gathered the black lanterns they had to find Deathstroke and his machine. Deathstroke was unaware of Nathaniel's life. After all the white lantern hadn't come until after Red Devil was gone. So he wouldn't have known either. Nate's resurrection would lead to many surprises.
