While they were walking towards the direction of the school, Kaika mentioned,"So...I had some weird dream last night, not that all of my dreams are normal anymore...but I think I saw you in it, well...you looked pretty young, and the entire place was being ravaged by Titans..." Apparently Kaika's dream was an exact memory of Eren's, where Wall Maria fell to the Titans.
"Don't mention it, you would always do the same for me," Takahisa said, since Armin would accompany him when he was injured or just having a nightmare.

"Just keep it cool and follow my lead. It's a lot to explain if I told you now," Kaika said to him before walking into the school building, they had about a few more minutes before the bell that started classes would be rung. So, she ran up the stairs to the third floor and rushed down the hallway towards their first class.
The next morning, Takahisa was nowhere to be seen in the room as if he snuck out to set up whatever he had planned for Armin's birthday.

Kaika slowed down a bit, but was still running towards their class. Soon they would get into a classroom, and still the bell hasn't rung yet. "Whew...we made it," Kaika panted as she went to take a seat at a desk near the back. Of course, there was a free and open desk right next to her, just so Eren would stay with her at all times.
Outside, Takahisa had just finished manifesting a special plant, which he puts into a small planting pot he had and putting that safely in his bag.

So far, everyone in the classroom noticed Eren, but didn't really speak up to him. It wasn't long until the bell finally rung to start class. Apparently their first class was an English class, and the teacher was starting to assign the class an essay project.

Oh great...right when I come back to school after all of that Spiritual World shenanigans, this happens... Kaika thought, hating to write essays or anything that requires a lot of writing.
Once Takahisa had safely packed the plant into his bag, he made his way to the mess hall.

While the teacher was explaining the essay assignment, a girl could be heard whispering to Kaika,"Sooooo...who's that guy with you? Is he like a new boyfriend or something?"

"W-What?...no Madrid, he's just a transfer student, and we just happen to have the same schedules so I'm lending him a hand with it," Kaika whispered back to the girl, covering up the real reason why Eren was here. Though, the mention of the word "boyfriend" caught her off-guard, as if there was a certain thing that made Kaika cringe in the inside on that single word.
It wasn't long until Takahisa walked into the mess hall to see that Sasha was already greeting Armin, since today was his birthday after all.

Eren heard this whispereing but didn't respond, he just tried to listen to the teacher as best that he could.
Armin looked over to see Takahisa and smiled, and Sasha clung to him, singing a funny out of tune version of what she called a happy birthday song.

After the teacher had finished explaining about the essay assignment, Kaika was having trouble thinking on what to write, not liking writing at all.

"Pstt...Kaika, can I...er, talk to you after class?" another girl whispers to her.

"Sure...sure..." Kaika says while she tries at least get a single sentence written down.
"Hey, Happy Birthday," Takahisa greets them, especially towards Armin.

So far...Kaika only got to write down a paragraph, and that's it. She was that stumped. Seeing as the teacher was busy helping someone else at the other side of the room, Kaika immediately dozed off, her head down on her desk. She always hated English class...
"So, remember when I said I had something like a surprise planned out for today," Takahisa said as he starts to slowly open his bag.
