Samuel grimaced at Matilda's words as they reminded him of what had happened the last time one of them had a significant other. The time they had to hunt down and kill Taya's boyfriend. He still felt bad for the incident and they hadn't heard from her since it happened and he was worried about her. Even though he would never admit it he knew Mathias was too. They had lost one of their family to an outside bond and he questioned if that was just the way their lives would work now. "I'll stop you from getting a boyfriend because I'm your overprotective brother, nothing more." he said jokingly in an attempt to mask his doubt.

"I know who your thinking about Samuel, I may act like a child but I'm not stupid. That's why I suggest we keep to ourselves, or else we may just end up alone and brokenhearted. I'm going to bed." Matilda shook her head, scowling at the others and taking quick steps to her room.

Kor

Kor drove up the driveway in his escalade, still having digonaa blood and guts on the tires. ~Why were they so strong this time, they are usually so weak something is going on and I gotta find out.~ Just when he walked out his car and up the porch he saw a letter on the ground. It said (Dear Blackwells I hope you had fun with my little project I set up for you. That was only Phase One wait till to see Phase 2-10... P.S. Mr. Koryie I will be coming for you I know who you are even if you don't know yet. Sincerely Dr. H.) Kor got the freaks after reading the letter. ~He knows who I am, even if I don't? What does that mean?~ Kor went into the house and went to show his family the letter.

Nathan smelled the pizza. "Cmon, Digo-Fami! Pizzas here!" Nathan and Digo-Fami rushed downstairs, hoping not to miss any pizza. He grabbed a couple slices of cheese and then grabbed one slice of pepperoni. "Here ya go, little buddy!" he said, as he gave Digo-Fami the pepperoni. He took a bit of the pizza. "Delicious!" he shouted. He continued eating the rest of his pizza.

Kiara had been in her room, trying to finish homework as they waited on the pizza. At the doorbell, though, she happily hopped up and ditched the English she was struggling with anyway. She trotted to the pizza and placed a couple pieces on a plate before grabbing a soda and taking her seat in the living room with her siblings. The air was a little tense and Matilda was getting up to leave. Considering the talk was about boyfriends, she kept quiet.

Anita shook her head. "Best if we do not even think about things. We have a duty and love would be a distraction..." She said remembering the time Samuel and Matilda ment. She continued to chew her pizza.

Kor

Kor walked into the house smelling pizza. "Hey guys sorry about that whole swamp mishap, I thought it was going to be easy." Kor sat down took a slice of pizza and gave the letter to Sam to read. "Look what I found on the porch, and there's something about me in it too, read it out loud." Kor was upset about the letter but he didn't want to keep It to himself anymore.

Samuel sighed and crumpled the number in his fist. This was turning out to be a pretty awful night and the letter Kor handed him was doing much for his mood. He tossed both the pieces of paper to the side and stood up. "Whatever it is we'll tell Mathias about it tomorrow. Right now I'm going to follow Matilda's example and get some z's" Nathans familiar was making real uncomfortable however. "Nate you know what Mathias said about familiars in the house, and there is no way in hell I'm getting to sleep with that thing around. Get rid of it or I will."

"G'night," Kiara responded to Sam's declaration of getting some Z's. She slurped down the rest of her soda and made a stop at the kitchen to put her things away. "I need to finish homework," she muttered dishearteningly before turning away to retreat to her room.

Nathan sighed. "Fine..." Nathan took out his staff. "Goodnight, Digo-Fami!" he shouted, as the purple light engulfed his Familiar. He finished his pizza and started walking up to his room. "Goodnight, everyone!" Nathan walked up his stairs to his room and changed into his pajamas, then layed down on the bed and fell asleep.

Kor

Kor got up and walked to his car to go to his house. He was the only one who didn't live in the family house anymore. He lives down the street from them. "Goodnight guys see you tomorrow." He gave Ki a hug. "Be safe all of you... I'm just a drive away from you all." He got in his car, drove to his house and set the alarm and went to bed.

Anita finished her dinner and headed back toward her room. "Have a safe night Kor." She said and bidder the rest of the family night as she walked up the stairs. She was going to finish her drawing before she slept.

Rayne wasn't a big fan of pizza, so he just sat there in his silence, at the kitchen table, messing with the cards, and a page of ideas and formulas, and some equations.
A thousand plans went through his head, a thousand complaints to himself. 'Why the heck am I so cocky sometimes, why can't I just follow the plans.' Rayne grunted, placing his hand against his face, before he picked up his stuff, and went up to his room.

Taya was slowly walking on the sidewalk, listening in on conversations of people around her. It was a small vice she had started back when she was still a hunter, a way to find the rumors and small signs that nobody else would get. A man and a woman were arguing, but it was pretty clear that the reason was as petty as their argument. Two boys were arguing as well, and though their conversation didn't appear to be related to any supernatural activity, it got her attention non the less.
"All I'm saying is that he isn't a hero!" The blackhaired kid gestured wildly to support his words.
"What do you mean he's not a hero? He tried to fight of all these monsters on his own... It's not his fault number 189 defeated him!" The ginger boy seemed perplexed with the words of his friend, convinced as he was that he was right.
"And why did he fight all those monsters alone? He had a perfectly fine team waiting to help him, he screwed up cause he was too proud to ask for help! He killed those people by trying to deal with it alone!"
If the other boy had a good answer to that, she wouldn't have been able to hear it, as the boys were too far away now. How poetic. The distressed heroine walks over the street and hears a conversation that fits her situation exactly. If this had been a movie she would have called bullshit right this moment.
Guess situations like that aren't that far besides the truth then.
Pridefull... Well that described her pretty well. She grinned for a while, then sighed when she reached into her pocket to get her mobile phone.
Call or text...
Guess it wouldn't hurt to call.
"Hello? It's me... Taya. I eh- I might need some help..."

(Cut to next day)
Samuel yawned as the sun began to peak through the window in his room.The pain in his shoulder instantly reminded him of last night as he stood up. He took off his shirt and examined the wound on his shoulder in front of his mirror. The wound had stopped bleeding but it still stung with a dull pain. He'd have to bandage it before he left the house. Until then he had plenty of time to waste until then. he picked up Lucy his beloved guitar and plucked at her strings absently.He remembered the time when Mathias taught him to play the instrument very fondly and he treated the guitar as well as he did his family.

The house phone was connected all around the house and their was one in each of their rooms. Sam reached for the phone still paying to strumming the strings with his other hand. He place the phone between his ear and shoulder so he could keep playing., his concentration not breaking for anything. That was until he heard Taya's voice, then he nearly dropped his guitar. "Damn! I mean um..." He held set Lucy back down and held the phone in his hand. "It's kinda messed up the first time we hear from you in months and you're asking for help."

Anita woke up and sighed. Morning ment school and less time to train. She rolled off the bed landing with a soft thud. "That was a good way to wake up." She mumbled as she began to get ready for the day.

Lin lay in his bed still asleep only to be woken up by his alarm clock, he kept trying to hit the snooze button and finally knocked the clock on the floor and it turned off. He pulled the covers over his head and tried to go back to sleep until he heard the phone in his room ring " oh, shut up already" he said trying to block out the sound

Taya felt a knot untangle inside of her stomach when she recognized the voice. Samuel... At least it wasn't Mathias. Hearing his words the knot returned however, and she heard her voice falter slightly as she continued.
"I know, I- I'm sorry... How are you?"
She rested her forehead against the cool wall, realizing suddenly how much she missed them all. A year... It was an entire year ago.
"How are the others?"

Matilda rolled off of her bed, she went to her bathroom and took a quick shower, shaving, washing, masking her face and hair, the whole nine yards. When she came out she felt good, but she still needed to get ready.

She put on light makeup, had her now nice straightened hair down, was bathed in flowery perfume, and to top it all off put on some jewelry; hair clips, earrings, bangles, and necklaces galore. She rocked the glamor, it looked much different then normal but she was still pretty. It was clear she was getting dressed up for something...or someone, in fact it had been the third time she had done such a thing this week.

Throwing on her favorite dress clothes she smiled, also tossing on her backpack. Rushing downstairs she waited with Anita with a rushed smile and a fidgeting toe.

Nathan woke up and grabbed his glasses. He put them on and stood up. He yawned. He walked over to his dresser and picked out some clothes. he walked over to he nearest bathroom and walked in. He turned on the shower and took a warm shower. He dressed, burshed his teeth, yadayadayada. Then, he walked downstairs, looking for breakfast.
