Jacob sat down on the couch, he just looked at the floor. "You think this is hard for you savannah double it three times over savannah." He swallowed, "I don't know what to do anymore." He shook his head, "I don't know how to stop the war or anything I'm out of ideas."

She took a deep breath, "They are pushing us away from their central building. It is weak enough that they are worried about what will happen if we get in there. If Kyle can get through to the mechanics... Maybe we can find everyone and set up a strike..."

Jacob rubbed his jaw, he looked up at savannah. He sighed, "alright alright I guess I needed that to pull myself together." He grabbed a cane, he slowly made his way toward where the TV would be. He punched a button on the wall, and the wall opened to showed guns and a few robot parts legs and arms. "Once we get one of the medics here I'll have to get surgery done because only then this thing can be taken off properly it's connected to my nervouse system."
Savannah nodded and sat back down on the chair, "Sounds simple," She laughed a little, nothing was simple anymore. She pinched the bridge of her nose, "What are we going to do... about... about Elliot?" She looked between the two brothers, "She's a danger to herself and now to us to... But we can't just keep her locked away in the bed room...."

Jacob shook his head, "like I said before I don't really know how to help her shell probably try to hurt me in order to get out or something I don't think I can calm her down savannah." He kept himself, upright with the cane, he didn't like being with only one leg but for now he would deal with it.
Savannah shook her head, "Then don't calm her down. Just be with her! Why are you so okay with her driving herself crazy?!"
She shook her head and stood, "I'm taking the other bedroom. You two figure out your own sleeping arrangements."

Jacob sighed, "Kyle you better start going on finding the mechanics alright?" Kyle nodded and went to go find the mechanics. Jacob started making his way toward Elliot's room, he quietly got the chair from her door before opening it and slowly walking in with the help of the cane. He closed the door behind him, he just stood there looking at Elliot.

Jacob saw Elliot, it tugged at his heart to just see her like this. "Ellie?" He whispered, he wouldn't admit it to anyone else who would ask he was scared for Elliot. He slowly walked forward, putting his arm that wasn't holding the cane around her. "Ellie come on come back to me please you promised that we would make it out of this together don't break that promise." He whispered it in her ear, hoping that she would come back to him.
Elliot didn't turn to look at him when he spoke her name and continued to stare out the window. She felt his arm snake around her waist and leaned back against him. She listened to him whispering to her but showed no sign of hearing it. She rose a hand to the side of his face and smiled, "I'm still here... Never went anywhere... Savannah locked me in..."
There was a haunting sound to her voice, as though she truly weren't there. She leaned into him further and pulled her eyes away from the window to kiss his cheek, "I don't deserve you... I don't deserve any of this..."

Jacob turned her around, putting his hand on her cheek while the other held the cane handle. "Ellie listen to me, please you might not deserve me your wrong I don't deserve you with how many people I have sacrificed to get through this war. I put men on missions that I knew were suicide you think those people haunt you, Ellie you've got to let go of the past and let go please for me your sister and everyone else you care about."
Elliot looked at him, "You weren't supposed to find out... I was going to keep it all a secret... Then you wouldn't have worry... But you're worrying, so much.... worry, worry, worry... I should have done better... Why didn't I do better?"

Jacob just sighed, and made his way toward the bed. He climbed in after her, setting the cane by the bed. He put his arm around her waist. "Shhhh Ellie just try and get some sleep ok, will you for me Ellie?" He asked quietly, he knew this was bad in every other way still he wouldn't bring it up.
Elliot nodded and curled up, leaning back again him. She placed her hand on top of his as they lay there. She sighed and closed her eyes, "I'll try, I'll try. For you, I'll try."

Jacob let out a sigh,'his free hand stroking through her hair. Till he fell asleep himself, by morning he woke up by Elliot's sleeping form. He didn't want to wake her or try to get up since he didn't have his left leg anymore. He watched as Elliot sleep.
Elliot woke up sometime later. Her eyes scanned the area before she rolled over and looked at Jacob. She seemed more present today. She sounded so as well when she whispered, "I'm sorry... I... I know you hate that I do it...." she didn't mention anything about her break down the previous night. Instead, she spoke of what she did to herself. She sniffled, "It... really did help though... I should have told you... I'm sorry, Jacob..."

Jacob shook his head, "it's fine Ellie sometimes I just forget how fragile you are at times, with what you have been through all you had to do was come to me and talk through it I found that the pain won't go away at least it dulls to where you don't think about anymore. I talked it through with Kyle that's why I almost act like nothing happens."
Elliot sighed and moved closer to him, "I know but... I didn't want to burden you... You already have so much to worry about... There was you dying over and over... The robots pushing us back further to a new hide out... The Kyle incident.... Then the robots again... I found a way to cope with it... and I never cut deep enough that it endangered me... I was always smart about it....."

Jacob put his arms around her, "I said it was alright Ellie. Just take it easy alright I think I have a bit more to worry about now," his gaze traveled down to the demolished left metal leg that was torn up by the explosive bullets, he let out a sigh as one of his hands rubbed the old metal leg that was demolished below the knee.
