After a minute or two Avery coughed, her eyes opening slightly to see the whites of her eyes. The yellow thing under her skin hissed and the after a minute glowed and exploded, but didn't make her neck wound bigger. She moaned, trying to open her eyes again but couldn't move. Whix sighed with relief and said " thanks doctor....she's going to be out of it for a while. Better make sure she takes it easy. That thing was nasty"

"Well I am the Doctor," The Doctor said. He gets something to clean and cover her wound "Though this happened because she was keeping me safe. " He sighed "Its always my fault people are hurt because of me, they travel with me or help me and get harmed." He was still thinking it was his fault. The Doctor is shaky from weakness but takes her to a spare bed and lays her on it.
"MMM it seemed nasty and very dangerous, Id like to know who sent it." his tone was serious.

Whix said "Still trying to figure that out, my friend. But this isn't your fault. Its the ones who sent it. Keep an eye on her for me" Then he hung up. Avery stirred and moaned, opening her eyes. "Dang it..all..."

The Doctor looked at her. He was very worried really. But he was sure that she would be fine now. "Hey its ok, your safe." He said softly. He just hoped she wouldn't try do much, he knew they were in a bad position to be attacked. But he knew the TARDIS was safe, that worm thing could have only got him from the outside.
He sat on a chair and was looking at her.
"Are you alright?" He asked.

She nodded, sitting up and holding her neck. "Bloody thing got a power boost from you...turned into a parasite...it would have laid its new host in my wound but my powers would ahve taken care of that...once I woke up that is...." She looked at the Doctor and said "Thanks...for helping out"

The Doctor was looking at her. He was worried about who sent it and what they wanted with him. He was still quite dizzy from the energy it had taken out of him. He really wanted to know who had sent it.
"Mmm problem is who sent it and what do they want." He sighed "Look I know you don't like my kind, But I have changed since the war and I don;t mean harm, I only want to help people ."

"We only meddle to help, but I know there are some things we shouldn't touch because its a fixed point in time, But what happened to your home." He didn't see why she would blame him for his species.
The Doctor sighed "Time Lords are time lords. things like that don't just change."
He had helped her and she was helping him., last thing he wanted to do was argue.

"The time war... I ended it, There was no other way but to destroy my planet and my own kind to stop the Daleks... It was all I could do to protect the rest of the universe at the time, But if it effected your home I am truely sorry,"
The Doctor replied "I regret that decision every day and still have nightmares,"
He wasn't sure if she would blame him now, he knows what he did that day had its consequences.

She closed her eyes, her hands in fists. "Nothing can change it now...so it doesn't matter. I need to get the the bottom of who wants you dead" she stood and headed for the door, needing to get out of there

The Doctor was looking at her as she got up "Easy you were just attacked , your friend told me to make sure you take it easy." he gets up and goes after her. He sighed and was wondering if his doings during the time war had harmed her home.
He cries out in pain as he falls from dizziness and sprains his ankle.

Avery was there in a heart beat, catching him and cursing. "Your the only who needs to take it easy....get back in bed. I'll get us off earth and into a time void. That should keep us safe for now"

The Doctors body was shaking as he attempted to get up. He knew that laying down would be best "to be honest. I didn't think I could get up earlier and didn't want to get up, but you were in trouble."
He always cared about others more than himself. "Are you ok though?" He couldn't really help it, his concern often just was on others.He wanted to help when he could. He goes to his bed and lays down.

The Doctor mumbled a bit and lay there "Uh huh ok." He closed his eyes. He knew that he didn't feel himself. He didn't really want to get up. "Alright. hope its not done too much damage,"
He was worried about not recovering. He still wondered who was hurting him. Really not feeling that great the Doctor curled up in his blankets and slowly fell asleep, he knew that rest was good for him.

The Doctor continued to sleep. He was breathing deeply, He hoped that she wasn't going to get herself in bad shape because of him. He was curled up in the blankets, He didn't think she would stick around after he was safe.
He knew he would go back to being miserable because he was rather alone.While he slept his dreams weren't peaceful. Though the time lord never had peaceful dreams really, his sleep hardly seemed calm. He knew that was why he never slept all that much. He was mumbling in his sleep. He had tears in his eyes.
He kicked around the covers.

Avery was working in the library, fighting to keep her eyes open. She was spent, but she didn't want to stop. She had to figure out who could have a energy worm infect a guy whose never in the same place for long...then she snapped her fingers. "It's not where...but when. Someone could have left the egg on the tardis door. And he touches it....that would do it. So now who would know when he would go...or die they just wait for him to show up?" She sighed and rubbed her temples, a headache forming.

The Doctor was deeply asleep. He seemed to really need the rest even if his dreams weren't peaceful. He groaned in his sleep and rolled on his side. He was whimpering a bit and seemed miserable.
Waking the Doctor gasped and he was crying silently "Ugh." he rubbed his eyes. He was shaking. He tried to push away the dream, and curled up in his blankets, he was hungry and thirsty and wanted to get himself food so to not make her do more.
Getting up the Doctor goes and gets himself a drink and drinks it. He gets some food as well.
