"I believe we don't have the time to wait for her," the man sighed and was about to draw out his sword, but stopped as someone else arrived, and that was Raiden.

"What...kid, what the hell are you doing here?" Raiden was shocked to see that these kids were here, but noticed another thing, which was that Kaika was wearing the clothing of the Violet Assassin, as he's seen small screenshots of the Violet Assassin sightings that occurred a few days ago.
"Alright, are you coming along Sylph?" Takahisa said.

"Oh, I'm just going to do some exploring while you eat," Sylph answered before spreading out his wings and then launching into the high skies above.

Eren stood and pointed an accusing finger at the man. "Raiden, this guy is going to do something to..." he paused. "Uumm.. Her!" he said, motioning towards Kaika. "Help, or something!"

"Just get yourselves out of here. He's my target anyways," Raiden motioned for them to escape, as his reason for being here was to strike down this man in the first place. Though it was hard to tell, but Raiden was skeptical with the fact that he was letting another target escape, which was the Violet Assassin, and apparently Kaika was that target.

"Ah, never thought you would show up Jack," the man says as both draw out their swords in lightning speed, and for some reason this man had called Raiden by his real name.

Kaika was still unconscious.
"Yup," Takahisa nodded.

Eren crouched down and slung Kaika over onto his back, so that her legs were around his waist and her arms were around his neck. He quickly made his way down to the street and quickly went towards the house.
Armin led him to the mess hall and got in line for food.

They would be able to leave the area safely as Raiden was keeping the man at bay from them, but Kaika was still unconscious and that device attached to her leg was still there. Though it was strange on how Nero and Umiya were not there at all, so it did feel like that whole encounter was a set up to get Kaika captured in the first place, a trap that they managed to get out of in time.
Takahisa still had thoughts on Bernkastel lingering around here, and he knew that the witch was that devious enough to do at least something against him.

Eren walked up to the house and knocked on the door with his foot, since his arms were holding Kaika's legs in place so she wouldn't fall.
Armin held out a bowl of soup to Takahisa. "Earth to Takahisa, come.back to reality.. You look zoned out..." he said, waving the bowl in front of his face.

"Whoa, what happened this time?" Peyton opened the door and was almost surprised that Kaika was unconscious once again. At the same time, Nero and Umiya happen to be catching up to them, but they seemed somewhat injured too.
"Huh? Oh, sorry," takahisa snapped out of it, not saying what he was thinking about earlier.

Armin sat next to Takahisa and smiled at Jean who had just joined them.

Jean set his bowl down and looked at Armin. "You shouldn't be walking on your leg like that..."

Armin looked at him. "I'll be fine, you and me both know that I've had worse."

Jean sighed. "Captain Erwin has asked me to ask you to stay off of your injured leg."

Armin sighed. "If I don't use it, it won't heal, okay?"

While Peyton was getting his gear out to attempt to disable the device on Kaika's leg, Umiya decided to talk to Eren.

"I suppose Kaika decided to go after us once she heard of the events happening in the city," she said, somewhat figuring out how Kaika got into this mess in the first place.
The sudden conversation between Armin and Jean reminded Takahisa on how Kaika would always argue with Nero that she was fine after being in a near death situation. He thought about it while he ate.

"I guess she owes you a lot," Umiya chuckled a bit at the thought, and then looked over to see that her major injury on her left arm had fully healed at a fast rate.

"Tch, my arm still hurts, even if it had healed already, I suppose that's the price to pay for having immortality..." Umiya said with a hint of pain in her voice, revealing that she had immortality this entire time.
As if he had found his way here, Slyph spoke as he sat by Takahisa,"There you are, so I'm finished exploring. Hope I wasn't gone for too long Takahisa-sama."

"You know you don't have to say "sama" after my name all of the time," Takahisa sighed, not so used to be called that.

"Oh, I thought it's common courtesy for Spirits to call their human pact bearers with that honorific?" Slyph said with a surprised tone.

"Yes and no. While we both can't die easily, I really can't die...or age either. I barely remember what time period I was in before achieving immortality...but I do know I'm about over 200 years old. Even Nero is immortal, and much older than me...," Umiya explained.
"At least Slyph's more talkative than the other Spirits," Takahisa said with a sigh, but found this situation funny.

"Heheheh, you could say that," Slyph says with a grin.

"I'm 12," Takahisa said, and he thought on how he was the youngest out of the four other Pact Bearers, not to mention his age was pretty young to be involved in things like this.
