Elliot blushed as his comment and held that had that he had against her cheek. She shrugged, "I'm not usually sitting up on the bed while you are lying down?"

She turned her head and kiss his hand before moving both his and hers to his side. She smiled, "So... You like the view?"

Jacob could only smile at that, "yes I like the view from down here." He didn't move his legs, as he got himself up onto his elbows, and kissed Elliot. If he could get the chance he would spend every hour he had with her.

Elliot grinned and leaned over as Jacob rose up to kiss her. She placed her hand on his cheek as she did. She had only had two other boyfriends previous to Jacob. She thought she had been in love with them and fallen out of it. However, when she was with Jacob, She knew well that that wasn't true. She hadn't known what love was back then... What she had with Jacob, that was love.

Jacob didn't really have any girlfriends, his old friends would frequently ask him to go on a date with some girl. Well they weren't actually dates since they didn't hug or kiss or any of that he just hanged around with some girls. He usually kept the stay away from me demeanor, he didn't know how Elliot got through that demeanor and saw the real him which he was grateful for now. Since he loved her with all of his heart.

Elliot was the first to break the kiss but she didn't go far. She pressed her forehead against his and smiled at him, "Lie back down..."

She helped him lay back again the pillow and moved so that her head hovered over his. She kissed him again, "There, just a little easier for you... You can lie on my lap later," She laughed a little before returning to their kiss.

Jacob broke the kiss, he looked up at Elliot. The back of his hand on her cheek, "I just wish I can move more than just moving my upper body. I don't know what to do, the only thing that can keep me from moving from the bed is you."

Elliot smiled at him, "Well me and the fact that you would be in unbearable pain if you tried."

She kissed his cheeks and checked his drip. It was still three quarters full. She nodded, she wouldn't have to change it for a while. She lay down next to him and rested her head on his shoulder, "You can read something. That's what I was doing while I waited."

Jacob shook his head, "most of the books I used to read are gone the robots wanted to make sure that the history and war and all the stuff that gave you hope from fatasies are now destroyed only ones left are boring old political books not my kind of thing." His hand stroked through her hair as he thought about what would have happened if they didn't have this war.

Elliot sighed and grabbed the book she had been reading, "That isn't really true. I hid the books we had here. Did you leave any books that you like here? I found the Secret Garden... So, it seems like the Robots never came here or didn't find the books that I hid away from them," She handed him the book and smiled, "And those books aren't that boring."

Jacob shrugged, "it's still not my kind of book. Right now I rather not read, not with you beside me right now." He slid his arm around her waist, his leg wouldn't hurt for at least a long while. He put his hand on her cheek, it still sucked that he could only move his torso.

Elliot smiled as he wrapped his arm around her and placed his hand on her cheek. She laughed a little, "You know. You are being terribly romantic after what happened," She leaned over and kissed him, "Are you trying to make sure that I don't get mad at you for climbing into the back of the truck ultimately causing all of this," She teased.

She put the book back on the nightstand and turned back to Jacob, lying against him, "Because, I could be and probably should be... But I think I'll save that to when you can walk away," She grinned and kissed him again.

After a few minutes, he broke the kiss he smiled. "An I'll make sure to run away at top speed so then you can't catch me easy as that Ellie." He laughed a little, "plus I have nothing better to do anyway." He put his forehead against hers. "If you hurt me or something of that rather I might change my mind on proposing to you."

Elliot sat at the end of the bed, her hands resting on Jacob's ankles. She looked up at him, worry all over her face, "Are... Are you sure you're ready? Maybe, wait a little longer."

The doctor had given Jacob the go ahead to start moving around a little. Elliot was just terrified that he was going to wind up hurting himself again. She bit her lip, she knew Jacob wanted to get out of the bed, done with lying around all day but that didn't make her any less worried. In fact, it worried her a little more, she was scared that he was going to push himself too hard. She looked at him, "The doctor said to take it easy."

Jacob was sitting up, his arms on his knees. "I know he said take it easy Ellie I'll be fine I won't push myself over the edge." He moved his right leg first, since he knew it hadn't been touched. He took a deep breath, he slowly moved his left leg bending it into the same position as his right. He let out a breath, as he moved himself to the edge of the bed.

Elliot was still biting her lip as she watched Jacob move his leg and sat on the edge of the bed. She hopped off and stood in front of him, holding out her hands to help him up. As much as she had joked about waiting until he was on his feet to get mad at him. She was far to anxious about him getting hurt again to even try to be mad at him for nearly getting himself killed. She helped him to his feet and looked up at him, "All good? No pain? If it hurts at all... Maybe you should lie back down..."

Elliot walked with Jacob into the living room and smiled when Kyle saw him. Kyle hadn't changed much after their conversation about them never being together. Which was good but she could see that he was trying to move on, which was better. She loved Jacob and she knew how much it hurt him when Kyle had attacked him and she hated that she had been the reason behind that. The attack though, had been put behind them and the brothers were slowly rebuilding their relationship. She laughed and looked up at Jacob, "It better only be a little while. I don't know how much of your walking around I can handle."

Jacob laughed, "she's really worried about me pushing myself." Kyle shook his head, as he helped Jacob sit down in one of the chairs. That's when he saw savannah come out of her room. "It's nice to be back on my feet even though it for a little while."
