"Ah, so my intuition wasn't wrong," Umiya smiled.

"So, got that device off of Kaika, and she should be up soon. Luckily this time she was just knocked unconscious," Peyton said as he walked up to them, holding out the device that was now disabled.
"Really? And to think that I started with this pact I have with Slyph not too long ago," Takahisa said in surprise.

"Interesting. You two are related through similarity of experience," Slyph mused a bit at their alike traits.

Kaika had finally woken up, but when she got out of the room, she was on the phone.

"Oh, sure, I'll prepare for tomorrow then. I'll see you," Kaika said before hanging up.
"Oh, er, I...um..." Takahisa started to stutter as soon as Rachel happened to come up towards them. Slyph seemed to be enjoying this way too much, holding in his laughter.

'Yeah, and I got a call from someone. My brother actually. He said that he's coming to come over tomorrow after taking a ride from Japan all the way here. I'm not sure who else is coming with him, but I can't wait to see my little brother again," Kaika says happily, somewhat forgetting about the events that happened today.
"Yeah, nothing," Takahisa said immediately after Armin, but he was still blushing a bit.

"So for now, I can finally take a break from all of that stuff from earlier," Kaika says as she goes over to the couch.

"Hey, Kaika. Since we have the time, wanna play a few rounds?" Peyton brought this up, setting up the TV for a game.

"Alright alright, but I'll beat you this time," Kaika sighed, but grinned as some of her competitiveness came around. Once the tv was set up to the game Smash Bros Brawl, Kaika chose Sonic while Peyton chose Falco.

"We'll see about that," Peyton said to her once the game started.
Takahisa ate his soup once recovering from that amount of blushing earlier.

Outside, a thunderstorm could be heard.

"God dammit, why are you so fast?" Peyton said after a few rounds, with him losing each round so far.

"It's just that Sonic's too good. Heheh," Kaika said as they were about to play another round.
Before Takahisa could say something, the thunderstorm got much much louder, to the point where lightning could be heard several times. Having a feeling that this wasnt natural at all, Slyph quickly departed outside the mess hall to see what was happening.

Eren sighed and leaned back on the couch. He pulled his jacket back and pulled a small emvelope out of the pocket inside. He opened it and pulled out some photos of him and his friends. He smiled when he got to the picture of him, Armin, and Mikasa as kids, laid out on the floor surrounded by books and pillows.
Armin tilted his head. "What do you think is causing it?"
