Kid Flash grit his teeth dodging whoever had sneaked up on him. "You idiot. Stop putting yourself in more danger than necessary!" He said running to her. It didn't take long. He was able to pull out the heat arrows and put them in her shoulders. But it would take a few minutes at least. "Just cover me!" He said shooting off towards Chill. it didn't take longer than a minute before he had the remote in his hands. And with the collars back on line Chill was pretty defenseless. It only took one kick to the head to know him out. But the two heroes were still in villain turf. He had to get back to Red's side.

When her right arm became unfrozen she jammed an arrow into the lock of the collar trying to get it off but she knew it wouldn't work because of what they were made for and the fact that she stopped when she realized even though the shock remote was gone it was still armed. "Dammit" She curse under her breath. She moved her shoulders around regaining movement and began shooting arrows at villains coming for her or for KF. Red knew that with the collars online the villains ad no chance of breaking the rest of the wall to get out. Which meant the only thing they needed to do was escape. "You idiot. Stop putting yourself in more danger than necessary!" She remebered him say that so she knew she needed to explain her thought process. "If I hadn't yelled and ran causing the person behind you to be momentarily distracted then you'd now have a collar on not allowing you to run fast and we'd be screwed and stuck here." Huntress explained hoping it would make sense to him.

"Regardless. With the shock feature of the collar on you could have died. Okay?" Kid Flash said as he got back to back with her. "I need you to cover me. I can definitely get the collar off you. Just gotta work up a little juice." He said quickly to her before punching and knocking back a few more of the inmate. Without there powers and these two being their only chance to bargain for freedom they had nothing to lose. They weren't planning on letting the teens leave any time soon. Still if he could charge up his gloves and short circuit her collar and get it off than they could leave sooner. They probably wouldn't have much more time until the League showed up. If they couldn't get out it wouldn't help their case on being able to work together.

"Hold on to me. Now." Red Huntress said notching a grappling arrow into her bow. She shot it and grabbed KF, the arrow pulled them ontop of one of the buildings giving them just some time before the villains would be up on the roof so just about a minute since the roof was only two stories off the ground. "I'll cover you as they come up just hurry we are running out of time." She said watching as prisoners began to climb up ladders or go into the buildings or figured out a way to work their way up to the roof. She had a plan brewing in her mind cause she knew what it might come to. She had an arrow set on the ground beside her that was another grappling arrow. She glanced towards KF looking for the best place to attach the rope so it would pull him up. She was not risking his life and would rather him live then her because he actually will make a good future superhero. Red had killed people before out of cold anger and sorrow so she really never though of herself as a true superhero but she wasn't going to say that. She needed to keep this plan secret from him until she went through with it. 'Save the one that can make a difference in the world.' That was her current goal.

Kid Flash panted a bit. "Man. There's so many of them." He said before laughing a bit. "But I got enough juice to do this." He said touching two of his fingers onto the collar around her neck. A surge of electricity went through it for a moment before it shorted out. He removed it from her neck and smirked. "Thanks for getting me out of there, but now that it's off of you I think we can set this this to about 60% or so and knock out all the inmate without worrying about you getting hurt." He said holding up the remote. His mind had been racing until now. Thinking of all the possibilities and each and every way this could go. "We've got one chance to get out of here. Ready?" He asked setting the remote as he opened his second compartment on his other glove. "Need a snack for energy?" He asked before eating a bit himself.

"No thanks" red said as she ran over to the door taking the rope and tying the door shut to slow some of them down. She picked up the collar and placed it with her arrows and looked at KF before looking away not wanting to look in his eyes from embarrassment. "Thanks for getting the collar off of me, you saved my life literally and I owe you one." she said with a very faint blush caused by her not being very emotional while rubbing her neck where a faint bruise and burn was forming from the collar. "Do you see the building 10 ft from the wall and a few building rooftops from here? If we can get over there I can use a grappling arrow and get us up ontop of the wall and we can jump off into the water from there. We just have to get across the buildings and fast." She said examining the roof tops that they would be crossing before turning to the banging on the door that prisoners had finally arrived at. That meant others who had been climbing would also arrive shortly.

"No thanks necessary." Kid Flash said with a small laugh as he glanced around. He could make the jumps. It would burn up the energy he had left, but once they were there getting out was all they had left. "Alright. Lemme see." He said as he lifted her. "Wow you're light. This'll be easier than I thought." He said as he took a few steps back. "Right. Let's do this." He said not giving her time to argue or try to escape his grip in any way. "Hold your breath and brace yourself." He said before shooting off going as fast as he could so that he could make the jumps and not hurt her in any way. He ran and kicked off an inmates face using it to get a little lift while sending a load of them tumbling down to the floor. The first jump was easy. He hit the ground running continuing on to the next roof top and the one after that. "Last one." He commented before jumping once more. "Oh man... Not good." He said feeling the last of his strength leave him. He landed but the second his feet hit the floor he dropped Red and tripped rolling forward a few feet. "Oh crap!" He slipped off the roof and was literally hanging on for dear life. "Shoot the line and get us out of here!" He shouted attempting to pull himself up.

"Wait I can-!" Red began but then they began going really fast. She was soon dropped and she landed but quickly stood up. She went over to the side and looked at him and then below him at the prisoners beginning to climb up towards him. She quickly notched a grappling arrow and shot it, she had used her strong one so she only had a few one person arrows left. She reached down tying the rope to KF's wrist and clicked the button on her bow causing it to retract and pull Nate up the wall. She then shot another one but this time it was at a light pole about 20 ft away. She swung on the rope circling the pole before coming back around and kicking a few of the prisoners. She then let go of the rope and began freefalling she shot an arrow and the grappling arrow dug into the side of the wall about half a foot below the area where KF was. She was pulled up to the top of the wall and climbed on top of it. She looked at Nate and smirked. "Now that is how we show the league what we are capable of but now we just need to jump into the water because it's the only way of getting off the wall and surviving. You up to the Flash Boy" Red said smirking as she began running along the wall looking for the best place to jump off.

"You might have a bit of a temper and a serious problem with listening, but you are seriously awesome." Kid Flash said laughing a little as he laid on the roof taking a moment to gather his strength. He needed to make sure he would be okay to move so soon. Hearing her little remark he laughed. "You know what? I think I've got a little more juice in me." He said as he forced himself to his feet. He wobbled a bit but ultimately stood fine. "Alright. The best place would be right..." He paused and grabbed her shoulders positioning her near one of the corner ledges. "Here." He said breathing a bit heavier than usual. "Just take a few steps back. Hit the gas and jump as far as you can. Nothing but water there. Anywhere else and you'll be skewered by the rocks." He said calmly. "Now. I'm ready when you are." He added starting to walk back. The prisoners were trapped in the prison walls and had no way of reaching here. There powers were "off" again. And they just had to get out before they were thought of as prisoners themselves. Not that they could be. Right? But he knew they would still put up a fight rather than go quietly to their cells. Couldn't be helped. It was natural after riot like that.

Red nodded listening to him looking down at the water that was until she noticed a dark shape moving through the water, soon a bright light turned locking on to them. "HALT! If you try to jump of an escape we will have to use force. Which could possibly end with you dead or being beat up by the Justice League depending if you are able to use your powers or not." The police boat called out. Red sighed annoyed that they were seen as criminals and ex-prisoners. "Just when we thought everything bad was over." Red said notching a shock arrow and aiming towards the boat but was having trouble seeing with the bright light. She lowered her bow and turned to KF. "I can't aim properly with the glaring light in my eyes!" She exclaimed a slight hint of anger in her voice. Red had no idea what to do, she had a slight idea but that was her dark side speaking to her so she pushed it away ignoring it completely.

"Ah... Dammit... After this... I'm so gonna kick a few of their asses." Kid Flash remarked with a sigh before looking down. "Okay I'm got an idea, but you'll have to trust me and let me help you aim." He said calmly since it was their only chance. Especially since if his calculation were right it would take at least 5 more minutes for the Leaguers to arrive and he wasn't sure if they had that much time. "So you think you can trust me? Of do we have to argue about it? Cause I really don't have the energy." He said calmly.

"Since I'm not exactly in the mood to be my normal stubborn not taking order self, which you should not get used to because I don't like being told what to do, and I'm not ready to die you better have a good plan." Red said looking at the police boat. "What do I do and which arrow do I use?" She asked her face turning serious and determined.

"The glare is blocking your view. My mask has a different mode so it doesn't block mine. So notch up a smoke arrow. I'll aim you. You'll shoot and we'll use the cover to make them think we jumped and hide until the league arrives which should be in about 3 and a half minutes." KF explained calmly as he waited for her. "We'll also need two of those boxing glove trick arrows or something heavy if you've got 'em." He added.

"Got it." Red said notching her smoke arrow and two boxing glove arrows. Hopefully KF would figure out how to help her aim all three arrows which she would have been able to shoot herself if their wasn't a glaring spotlight shining in her eyes. She may need to ask him to help her make a new mask that can help her when something is blocking her vision whether it's light or dark or fog. "Aim away Nerd Flash." She said with a smirk.

Kid Flash nodded ad he got a bit closer to her "Just promise not to hurt me for this later." He said since he did need to get a bit too close. Maybe not uncomfortable for him, but probably for her. Unless she liked him. Which she kind of made obvious she didn't. Or did she? It was hard to tell. He positioned her accordingly and helped steady her aim keeping his eyes locked on the ship and the spotlight. "3... 2..." He paused for a moment to get it just right before smirking. "1." He said simply letting her fire the arrows. The smoke arrow hit the spot light releasing the smoke almost immediately. The two glove arrow splash into the water on opposite sides of the ship giving the appearance that he and her had jumped when the smoke blinded them. "Now lay down and stay out of site." He said pull her to the ground. The men look unbelievable confused as they tried to scan the water for him and Red.

Red felt him get close to her and although she didn't show any emotions she was both uncomfortable and comfortable at the same time or as Richard Grayson would probably say, fortable. She never really liked people touching her especially guys. The only two guys who had ever been that close to her was her father and older brother. Red may have been uncomfortable with him being close to her but to her it was good to know she hadn't elbowed his stomach or kicked him where it hurt which showed that deep down she trusted him. Red got down when she had been pulled down and watched as they randomly shot into the water with their guns. "Well they seem to be having fun trying to murder us." She said rolling her eyes and flipping onto her back looking up at the night sky.

"Riiiiiiiiight." Kid Flash remarked in a whisper. Although his view of the night sky would soon be cut short by a shadow looming over head. "I think this is the part where we..." He began to whisper but was cut off by a sword slicing into the rooftop they were laying on beside his face. "Get in trouble? Yeah. That happens now." Rose said with a hint of anger and relief mixed into her voice. "Man you two really had us worried sick." Bart said as he soon appeared hoisted Nathaniel up. "You over did it didn't ya?" He then asked. "Of course they did. Both of them." Batman said as he came down with Superman. "But it's not like we ever did any less when we were on the job." Superman commented. It was true. The team had a habit of going above and beyond. "Come on guys. Can't ya just give us the compliments we deserve?" Kid Flash asked optimistically. The glares he got said no, but Batman and Superman signalling and explaining to the officers said Maybe. Kind of.

Red just stood up and watched them silently, she looked around but apparently Black Arrow hadn't come. She just stood in the shadows her collar pulled up to hide her neck because she had a feeling it looked like a bad bruise and burn. When Red heard KF's comment on compliments she just rolled her eyes. She knew they were in trouble but to her it was normal. Red's face was emotionless watching KF with his parents before looking over at Batman and Superman who were now talking about 'punishment' which either was going to be a day of non-stop training or not allowing them to leave the cave except for school, or a combination of both.

"Hey Red. What are ya doing all the way over there? Throwing me under the bus already?" He joked with a slight smirk since her mentor hadn't come. "I mean I thought we were really bonding? You know. Getting a little closer to you letting me take you on that first..." Kid Flash was shut up by an elbow to the gut courtesy of his mother. "Quiet Kid Flirt." She said with a small sigh. "So. You about ready to head back? Black Arrow want us to make sure you were okay for him. Said he had something to do." Rose explained. "I could of told you that was coming." Bart said calmly. "You could have stopped her." Kid Flash remarked in an equal whisper to which Bart said 'yeah right'.

"Okay bring them back. We'll discuss punishments tomorrow. For now they should rest and bask in the glory of a job well done." Batman said calmly before shooting a grapnel hook up and "flying" into his batplane which was flying overhead. "Good work you too. Just try to make things run a little more smoothly next time." Superman said. Obviously Connor was on their side. Just, he did have to be responsible too. He was Superman after all.

Red glared at Kid when he began to flirt again. She was going to hit him or something but his mother beat him to it. Red was beginning to like her. Red smirked and walked to the edge of the wall looking down to the water and then turning and smiling/smirking towards KF and his family. "Tell Black Arrow that I'm fine and I'll call him tomorrow." Red told Rose and Bart before turning to look straight at KF. "See you tomorrow morning at the cave for our first training time Kid Flirt" She said falling backwards like she had slipped after using his mother's words against him again. She dove into the water below and swam to the shore. Red wrung out her hair and began jogging towards the Zeta Tube. Once she reached it she typed in the code and was sent to Happy Harbor. She mentally noted the 5AM training time before school tomorrow morning at the cave. When she reached her apartment she found her brother asleep on the couch. She smiled and covered him in a blanket, he may be older than her but sometimes she felt like she seemed to do more for the family and she was ok with that even if it sometimes stressed her out. With that Hayley changed into her pajamas and went to bed after setting an alarm for 4:30AM. Which was a later time than usual for her but she was happy she got to sleep in some since she didn't have to do her own workout/training.
