Hey! I just started watching SAO on Netflix and i think it would be a great anime to base an RP off of. The story/gameplay would be the same as in the show.

It would be a mid-casual to advanced RP, so if anyone is interested please let me know!

Also, if there is a SAO RP thats going on now and is accepting still, please let me know!

I'd love a good SAO roleplay.

Before I can commit though, I'd need a bit more to go on. Will the plot be exactly the same as the anime? What about canon characters? What happens to them?

oh the canon characters will be there if you want them to, however if you need them you will have to control them yourself.

it will kind of just be like how in order to get out, you need to pass all the floors and not die. I want it to be character driven, maybe all of us form a guild or party, if you want to go solo, that's fine as well. I'll be honest, I just started watching it about a week ago, but I think it would be really fun to just hang and kill beasts like a boss. ^^

im also open to any ideas for plots, if you have one in mind, feel free to tell.

I think we should just let the canon characters do their thing instead of trying to control them too much. We can develop our own characters and stories while somehow following the main plotline.

Hmm.. Ideas. Would we be starting the RP after a couple of weeks has passed ingame? Or on the first day? (personally I prefer the first one) I think it would be a good idea for our characters to eventually join the same guild. How many players will we be having? Too large a group tends to slow the pacing down a lot D:

I think it would be fun to take on bosses and work together to survive :3

I'm game. First day would be great, maybe first post is enjoying the game, second in being told we are stuck, then move on from there. But maybe do a time jump to a month later since that is how long it took them to find the first boss.

i like both of your ideas! i think we could start it from right after we the GM says what happened. i think maybe a month goes by, then afterwards we eventually end up joining a party then a guild.

what lvls would you think is practical after 1 month. 20 maybe? no more than 30 to prevent op?

also im thinking no more than 6 people, including me. honestly in my experience, more than that gets way crazy.

i'm writing down names now, so you guys are sure your in?

I hope I'm not too late- I would love to give this a go.

I've often thought about what kind of role I would play if it got stuck in a game like SAO, and I'd love to have a try at becoming someone who creates a life for themselves- I know from playing MMO's that I am never going to be a front line kinda gal so I thought it would be interesting to explore a side where I'd be part of maybe a smaller guild that do some of the medium type dungeons but also runs a shop, maybe a cloth and alchemist shop to buy armor and potions or something. Kinda like Lizbeth (was that her name? The weapons chick).

If I'm too late then that's ok too.
