The Doctor sits down with them and eats some food. He was smiling. He had no idea what the Master was up to. Meanwhile it seemed the Master was messing around with PAraliment and had killed off people who had angered him.
Jack was looking at everybody. "So if your not going to kill the Master, how do you plan to stop him and know he won't cause more trouble?" He looked serious. His gaze was focused on his friend as well.

It was a good question, since the Doctor was a pacifist and didn't want to use violence until it was a last resort thing. Caitlyn ate her food looking curiously at the Doctor wondering what he would do.
Rose was just as curious drinking her tea. She considered the options herself. There weren't many options open for a psychopath. They wouldn't be able to change him and if they tried to keep him so he wouldn't harm anyone, it might work for a time.

"I don't know... I still hope I can help him. get him to change... I'd take him with us if I had to to keep him out of trouble," THe Doctor replied. He was determined his friend was still in there somewhere.
"No killing." he replied. He was looking at them.
"With us?"Jack didn;t seem to think that would be a good idea. "Isn't there some alien mental hospital or somewhere he can be locked up,"
The Doctor frowned sadly , He looked pained "Thats the last resort... But that will ruin him I'm sure."

"I don't have it in me to kill unless I absolutely had to." Caitlyn said which meant she wouldn't cause she wasn't that kind of person. She thought that a psychopath traveling with them might not be the best idea but if she was in his shoes what would she do? She would fight tooth and nail wanting her friend back. "Do you know what changed him from who he had been to who he is now?" She asks curiously. Maybe they could change it by going to the source of the problem to begin with.
Rose reached out placing her hand in the Doctor's knowing that he would do anything to make sure the other Time Lord lived. "I won't kill 'im." She promised. Course she had no idea that the other presence in her would do ANYTHING to make sure her Doctor was safe.

The Doctor nodded "Yeah I won't kil unless I have to. But with the Master, Id never kill him despite what hes done." He knew that he just couldn't . He was thinking for awhile. "Staring into the time vortex... it can drive time lords mad, but yet the drumming drives him mad. Not sure anything can be done about the drums." he knew it was probably more the MAsters own choices he needed to change.
Jack was looking around. "Mmmm yeah." he replied.

"What if, and this is mere just spitting ideas out, but what if something could take those drums from his mind? Do you think it would change him?" Caitlyn asks curiously not having any idea of how to take away the drums neither but she was curious to know if without the drums what the Master would be.
Rose tilts her head curiously as he talked about the time vortex. She wondered where they could see that. She caresses the Doctor's hand with her own letting him know he wasn't alone in his decision not to kill someone who used to be his friend.

"Even if I knew how to get rid of the drums, hes stubborn that would be up to his own choices if he did or not." THe Doctor replied, He knew getting the MAster to change wouldn't be so simple.
JAck was thinking as well "mmm Yeah. Guessing all time lords are stubborn?" he teased.

"Be nice to the stubborn Time Lord stubborn immortal." Caitlyn teased Jack because she found it fun.
"Who knows maybe without the thing drivin' him up a wall, he would want to change." Rose hypothesized. She knew it might not be that way neither cause once you were a certain way for a long time it would be a mighty long and hard road to break out of habits.

"Hey!!" The Doctor replied. He was looking at them. He knew they were only teasing him as well. Jack was looking at him. He laughed a bit "Oh Doctor." He seemed rather amused a bit. He was smiling a bit.

Rose laughs a bit cause she found their poking fun at the Doctor funny. It might be a long time until she heard this or found a reason to laugh so she wanted to treasure this.
Caitlyn smiles also amused. "We only poke fun at you cause we care." She says telling the truth on her end. She was enjoying this moment cause she didn't know when she might be able to have this kind of fun again.

The Doctor knew they enjoyed teasing him, he kissed Rose. He seemed to be thinking for awhile. He wasn't sure what the Master was doing. He was thinking "Anybody bring a laptop."
JAck was looking at him "Yeah, what for?" he replied confused.
"I want to see what the Master has been up to." The Doctor replied getting out Jack's laptop. He used his sonic to boost for a wifi signal.

Caitlyn looks at the laptop as Jack opens it. "Torchwood. Hmm. I heard that somewhere...." She said thinking about it.
Rose kissed the Doctor back also curious what the Master was up to looking at Jack's computer just as curious. Why was the name of the manner that the Queen Elizabeth had knighted and exiled both her and the Doctor on the same day on Jack's laptop?

"Yeah...... I havent mentioned it yet as I knew you might not like it but I work for Torchwood." He replied. He was waiting for the Doctors reaction. He knew it wouldn't be a good one.
THe Doctor looked annoyed "You work for Torchwood, do you know what they did?" He had his voice raised.
Jack sighed deeply. "I lead them, Its all changed Doctor and when I rebuilt it... I did it in your name." He said quietly. He had not wanted to say earlier as knew the Doctor was going to get mad.

Rose looks at Jack reading his posture and knew that he was telling the truth. She had almost lost the Doctor to Torchwood, as he had almost lost her, but she knew that Jack would not lie about this. "We're good influences then?" She asked with a tongue in teeth grin.
Caitlyn rubs Jack's back smiling at him knowing that Rose wouldn't have been that upset even if bad things had happened because of Torchwood for the both of them. "A reformed conman fixing something in the name of those that changed him. That is sweet." She said honestly.

JAck was looking at her "Yup." he replied "I mean its because you two I am a better man," He replied. He looked at Caitlyn and blushed when she said what he did was sweet. He leaned forward and kissed her "And without my two friends the Doctor and Rose I wouldn't have meat you Caitlyn."
The Doctor was looking on the computer and saw the Masters history as Harold Saxon went back years and years, He didn't think that was possible. He kept looking. He looked at them.

Caitlyn kissed Jack back and caressed his face. "And that is unthinkable. So thank you for rescuing him." She said looking and seeing that 'Harold Saxon' had a history on Earth. "Well, let's think about this for a moment or two. Did you notice another Time Lord here? Is there a way for your people to lock away who they were, create another persona, be him a while and come back to who they used to be?" She asked theorizing on what had caused the Master to have such an excessive history. She didn't know anything about Time Lords neither, but if she were to hide away from her own people, she'd change her whole background, even going as far as changing what she had been to something else in order to change, becoming one of the locals and creating a past.
That was a good question, Rose thought as she looked at the Doctor curiously. She never saw him use such a thing, but him being as old and coming from such a smart race as the Time Lords, she didn't doubt that what Caitlyn had asked could be possible. Not that she really knew what the Time Lords were like as she only met him and the Master, being a psychopath bent on destroying the world, she figured he didn't count as one.

JAck was looking at her. He kissed Caitlyn more and grinned "Yup." He was happy he had met her and kept his arm around her. He was wondering too how long the Master could have been here.
He waited to see what the Doctor would say.
"We'll we can make ourselves appear human and think we are human, But I don't think thats it, because hes clearly been planning something while knowing full well who he is. I don't think hes been here that long. The Master is clever."
He knew the Master would have done alot to have got this far.

Caitlyn stayed in Jack's hold kissing him back knowing she was a lucky girl. She wanted to know though just how the Master came to be here, still know who he is, and have time to trying and take over the world.
"So you keep sayin'." Rose said not caring how that sounded anytime he said it. She had full and complete faith in the Doctor, no question about it. She knew that he'd come up with a plan to save the world.
"So...question then. Why did they do that tapping?" Caitlyn asked looking around and noticing someone with headphones in tapping the rhythm on the table.

The Doctor was looking at her "Probably is some way to get people to vote for him, " He replied. He was thinking a bit. He knew that The Master needed to get as many people to vote for him as he could.
He knew Rose and Caitlyn would be able to be lured into that if not careful.
JAck was looking at them "So anyway we wont fall for that.?" He asked.
He was worried about whether the girls would give in.

"I'm not too sure about me, but you two had done so, so we're going to have to be careful." Caitlyn said having no idea what could lure her to become content in the knowledge that she voted for a maniac. She didn't want to fall under that spell, she wanted to have a clear head.
Rose hadn't even known she had been doing it, so had no idea how to stop herself from doing it again. But she would keep away from anything for a while so that she can vote for someone, anyone else than the Master. She thought about the date. "Voting's tomorrow." She said worried. Since the Master seemed to have everyone wrapped around his little finger, she doubted that their votes would count for anything at all. Or if they would even be allowed to.
