The pain was that much for him that he couldn't talk properly, only short groans or grunts of pain. The cat near them suddenly was surrounded in blue butterflies, and then forming into the appearance of a girl.
"I technically took 5 years in another timeline learning all there is on being a Master Assassin, so how would trying this out would be any harder?" Kaika said as if her overconfidence was showing, but knew this would be difficult on it's own.

Eren chuckled. "Well, mind you, the only training I got was from a grumpy old drill seargeant and a grumpy Survey Core Corporal... So it was hard for me..." he said, laughing.

Bernkastel didn't say anything as she held in her hands a large scythe, a scythe that would appear like one of the Grim Reaped.

The seed suddenly grew into a thorny vine that would wrap around Bernkastel and drain the Witch clean of magic energy. The world around them began to fall apart, and Takahisa was freed from the pain he was in, the blade in him disappearing.
"An artifact. It's called a Spirit Fossil, and it's usually used to purge very very dangerous curses. Like possession or corruption," Kaika says with what she knew about it.
