"Anyways, let's head back for the mess hall. I think I can explain what was that all about on the way," Takahisa says before starting to walk, though was a little shaky that he had a feeling that Bernkastel would be back at some point.

"Well, with that done, I gotta check something in the basement, especially for your end Kaika," Peyton winked at Kaika before going down the basement, locking the door behind him.

"A-Alright," Kaika said as if Peyton had a secret with her, and she could be seen blushing a bit before she managed to stop her blushing.

Rachel followed. "Okay."

Eren looked at her and chuckled. "Do I even want to know?"

"So pretty much that was a Witch that's been trying to harm me and my friends, she's known to be...er, I think her name is Bernkastel. I guess she decided to target me since I'm the only one here she wants to harm," Takahisa said on what he knew about the Witch.

"It's a long story, that's all I got to say," Kaika laughed at the thought.

Rachel hooked her fingers with his gently. "I'm glad you're okay..."

Eren smiled and leaned against the wall. "I've got time... Do tell..." he chuckled.

"You too..." Takahisa said with a sigh of relief as they returned to the mess hall.

"R-Really? Well...first of all, if you're assuming this, me and Peyton don't have a relationship, we're just friendly rivals if we put it at that. Actually, the story explains why I need the Spirit Fossils in the first place..." Kaika said as she cleared up with the fact that Peyton is certainly not her boyfriend.

Rachel smiles slightly and squeezed his hand gently.

Eren raised an eyebrow. "Mhmm.. Go on..." he said, smirking.

Takahisa blushed a bit by this, and held her hand as they went to sit down at the table again. They did abruptly leave the mess hall, and apparently, it seemed like no time had passed at all since they left.

"The reason I need Spirit Fossils, is because my boyfriend's in a coma...we have him safe in the basement, and Peyton usually goes down there to check if all of the medical equipment is keeping him alive. How he got into a coma...it's because he has a powerful demon in his body, and the sudden shift of darkness just forced him in a coma...but even if he is cured from the coma...Nero told me that this particular demon would be a pain in the ass to exorcise from him, and if we can't remove the demon from my boyfriend...then..." Kaika explained, stopping for a moment to find the right words,"Then I have to kill him myself...and that would cause the demon inside to be forced away and regenerate for a thousand years.."

Armin looked at them and smirked when he saw them holding hand. He nudged Takahisa and wiggled his eyebrows.

Eren nodded. "Protecting the ones you love even if it means harming them... It's a fighter's code..."

Takahisa only blushed in response, knowing by now that his crush on Rachel was that obvious.

"Yup, fate's a bitch," Kaika said with a dry laugh.

At the same time, Raiden was starting recover from his injuries earlier. "Huh? How did I..." Raiden said, confused.

"I brought you here after your defeat against Jetstream Sam, and you were repaired right away from the help of these people," Blade Wolf immediately answered for the cyborg's confusion.

Rachel blushed a little. "You know... I never did thank you for risking your life for me.." she.murmured to Takahisa.

Eren nodded at Kaika. He looked over at Raiden. "Oh, you're awake."

"Couldn't bear for you to be hurt by that Witch," Takahisa whispered back to her.

"Also, it is too dangerous for us to go out and call for a ship to take us back to HQ, Raiden. I had processed several external scans while you were unconscious, and there are many Desperado UGs surveying the area for us," Blade Wolf added, giving a sense that they have to hide out in this house for awhile.

"But wouldn't that mean that this is also a bad place to be if they come up to this house?" Raiden said, knowing that those UGs from Desperado Inc. would have some kind of scanning capabilities to track them here.

"Don't you worry about that, I'm prepared for that crap if it happens," Peyton said as soon as he got back from the basement, holding his dual guns. Since his Pact affinity was Electricity, he could easily disable or nullify the UGs that come close to the area, making this a safe haven from the enemy forces.

"Er...yeah, you do that Peyton. I'm sure you're the only person out of our group that knows this stuff first-hand," Kaika rolled her eyes.

Rachel looked over at Armin, who was pre-occupied with a conversation with Marco, and smiled. She leaned over at to Takahisa and kissed his cheek gently. "Thanks..."

Eren listened quietly.

"Anything for you," Takahisa gave her a light smile, and was surprised to receive a kiss to his cheek.

"Well, I'm out for the night. Today was pretty crazy after all," Kaika yawned, already sleepy. She knew that Peyton would keep watch for any of the UG forces outside, and it wouldn't be until tomorrow afternoon that her little brother and her friend from Japan would arrive here.

Rachel blushed and looked down at her feet. "You're sweet..."

Eren looked at her. "Okay... Sleep well..." he said, standing. He went over and put the blades back into their maneuver gear boxes.

"You too..." Takahisa glanced away for a moment to hide his obvious blush, and then turned to face her again with that gentle smile of his.

Kaika gave a wave before going upstairs and going into her room.

"I'm going to take a guess and say that those are yours," Raiden managed to get a glimpse of Eren's maneuver gear and it's blades, but then had to remind himself of what occurred back at the school. That Eren wasn't really normal, and that for some reason, this entire household of people that are acquainted with him are probably not normal too.

Rachel smiled at him.

Eren nodded. "Yes.... Where I come from they are very useful military items..."

"I never saw this side of you before," Slyph abruptly appeared and seemed like he had a gist of the interaction between Takahisa and Rachel.

"Since when do you ever come up with a warning Slyph," Takahisa jumped a bit at the Spirit's sudden entrance.

"Ah, gotcha," Raiden said, not so surprised that a teenager was in the military. Raiden was a child soldier back in the Liberian civil war, so this was nothing new to him. Though, he was kinda curious as to what kind of military would use that kind of equipment, and more so on how it would work.

Rachel blushed and stared at the table. "Sneak up on us, why don't you?"

Eren set the maneuver gear set against the wall.

"Hey, I don't mean to intrude," Slyph said with hands up defensively.

Seeing that there wasn't much to do, Raiden and Blade Wolf decide to help out Peyton with guarding the place from the threats outside.

Rachel blushed. "Mmhmm.."

Eren sat down on the couch, sighing.
