The name "Out of Character" for the Off-Topic section has been confusing people, I've noticed. Some people are mistakenly making OOC threads for their roleplays in that section, unaware that threads now have both IC and OOC components, and that only one thread (in the Roleplaying section) needs to be made. The thread Beacon's Light Rising can be deleted, since the GM made a proper thread for their RP already, but that's not really what I made this thread about.

Should the Out of Character (OOC) section be renamed to something that more clearly identifies it as not being the place for OOC threads?

On second thought, this might belong in the 'Feature Requests & Bugs' section...

Good point. I'll rename the category to "Off Topic".

I imagine anyone creating an OOC thread is just used to the old guild ways and they'll learn over time.
