Takahisa only awkwardly shifted in his seat, not sure on how to continue the conversation.

Since mostly everyone was either asleep, not in the living room, or at the front door to keep guard for any enemy threats, the only person that was left in the living room with Eren was Umiya. She was reading a book that had a weird language that looked like it didn't exist here.

Rachel played with her fingers.

Eren closed his eyes, leaning back into the couch.

"Oh, and just to tell you Takahisa...there's someone outside that you might remember...you know, the unstable one," Slyph decided to mention this now since both of them were talking.

"Huh? What are you talking about Slyph?" Takahisa was a little puzzled with what the Spirit meant, and he knew it wasn't describing Bernkastel.

(A new character pretty much)

"I wonder, I wonder...." a girl sighed to herself as she was casually entering the Survey Core HQ. While she did look out of place since she wasn't really from around here, the most noticeable part around this girl was that she was wearing some cloth that covered her left eye, like a makeshift eyepatch. She looked like she was at least 15 by the looks of it. Not even minding the people that would see her literally trespassing the area, the girl made her way towards the mess hall as if she actually knew where Takahisa was.

Umiya noticed that Eren was starting to sleep.

Rachel looked at Sylph. "Who's the unstable one?"

Eren sighed and opened his eyes, staring at the ceiling.

"Well...this girl happens to have this pact with another Spirit, like how it is between me and Takahisa, it's just that she..." Slyph explained that this girl was just like Takahisa, having a Spiritual Pact, but was interrupted by a sudden appearance.

"Oh, Takahisa! Slyph! I haven't seen you two in awhile!" a girl exclaims as she goes over to them, which actually shocked Takahisa.

"C-Corentine? I thought...I thought you..." Takahisa stuttered with his words in a manner of disbelief.

"What? I told you and the others that I could handle it back there, you make it sound like I died back there against all of those Shadow Replicas. At least I'm not that fragile," the girl, Corentine, said this as if it were no problem.

"Hey, are you trying to say that I'm fragile?" Takahisa could tell that she wasn't really that fond of him and the others, especially after some incident.

"What do you think I'm trying to say? Anyways, what the hell are you doing here? I thought that Kaika was supposed to be with you," Corentine rudely said back, crossing her arms and not caring that Takahisa was sitting with his new friends here.

"What happens to be the matter?" Umiya asked out of the blue.

Rachel watched them quietly.

Eren looked over at her. "I just miss my home..."

"Kaika just disappeared I guess, we both got separated as soon as we got here. How about you? I don't really get why you're here after all of that stuff happening a few weeks ago," Takahisa sighed.

"Just happened to get here, nothing more. Luckily I managed to find you," Corentine shrugged, not seeming to care as to why she was here in the first place, which didn't seem to make any sense to Takahisa.

"Oh, alright. Just curious, but what's up with your left eye?" Takahisa was curious as to why she was covering that eye with cloth.

"Not anything you need to know," Corentine immediately snapped back, obviously not wanting to talk about her eye, and then saying as she noticed that Takahisa was with some other people here,"I'm Corentine Maaske..."

"Oh...I see..." Umiya said awkwardly.

Rachel smiled and nodded to her.

Eren closed his eyes once more.

"So...are you going to introduce yourself to me or what? I did give you my name," Corentine said, at least trying to show some friendly side of her as opposed to how harsh she was upon seeing Takahisa here.

"You should go to sleep, it's quite late and dark outside," Umiya says, even though she shows no sign of going to sleep or anything related to rest. This may be a side-effect of being immortal, that Umiya had no need to sleep, no need to eat or drink, not even a need to breath if it came to that.

Eren stood. "Yeah, I guess... Goodnight..."

Rachel looked at her. "Sorry... My name's Rachel."

Umiya nodded and smiled before going back to her book.

"Cool cool. Well, I'm going to kill some time I guess," Corentine said before deciding to head out.

"Er, and what are you going to do?" Takahisa rose an eyebrow.

"Training. I need to stay up on my game if I'm going to last," Corentine rolled her eyes as she walked out of the mess hall.

"Had a feeling that she would still act like this," Slyph wasn't really surprised on Corentine's current mental state.

Rachel watches her leave. "What a strange girl..."

Eren headed upstairs quietly.

"Yeah, Corentine's been that kind of person for awhile," Takahisa said about the girl's strange behavior.

Kaika's snoring could be heard from her room upstairs, leaving her bedroom door open by accident.

Eren chuckled and reached into her room, closing the door quietly.

Rachel smiled. "Oh... What made her like that?"

"It has something to do with her left eye, the one that she has some kind of cloth covering it. I remember her being more positive and friendly, but she's almost the complete opposite now. Ever since she had that eye of hers infected with darkness, she's basically a person using Spiritual powers as well as Demonic powers. The only way to make sure she doesn't go berserk with those demonic powers, she wears that enchanted cloth to nullify the corruption in her eye, but if she removes that, then she goes into that berserk animalistic state," Takahisa was pretty keen on Corentine's corrupted state.

Kaika wasn't bothered by her door closing, only continuing to snore loudly.

Eren smiles andwent into his own room.

Rachel nodded slightly. "Oh..."

By the time Eren would fall asleep, those strange dreams would start up again.

"Yeah, but I don't blame her though," Takahisa said.

Rachel tilted her head. "Why?"

Eren sighed. Great, here I go...

"Sometimes she's talking and sometimes the corruption kinda makes her harsh in her personality. It wasn't really her fault that she got corrupted in the first place," Takahisa said.

This time, Eren would find himself in an empty mansion, rain could be heard outside as if a strong storm was occurring. If he tried to go outside, the main doors were jammed shut, unable to budge.

Rachel nodded. "Ah, okay..."

Eren sighed. "Now what are you dreaming?" he mumbled.
