"No. I can do this." Hayley said stubbornly as she glared at the paper. She never had gotten an education until she became the apprentice of Black Arrow so the fact she was even attempting this right now was a big thing.

After about 30 minutes Hayley put her chin onto her hand. Without looking she spoke to Nate, "Will you please help me on the Physics homework?" She asked too embarrassed to look at him.

"Hmmm... Well." Nate looked at the work and then grabbed a clean sheet. "Alright." He scribbled down a fake problem a lot like the one she was doing. he wasn't gonna do it for her. He could tell she wanted to do it. He took things step by step and explained the details to her. In addition he related it to things he thought would help her understand better.

Hayley nodded as he explained it. When he finished she was able to finish the homework quickly. When she finished she tackled Nate with a hug forgetting he currently wasn't wearing a shirt. "Thanks Nate. I thought my mind was going to explode. Also this doesn't mean that you aren't an idiot anymore. You just aren't an idiot along the lines of school." Hayley said smirking as she sat up to the point where she was currently straddling him.

Nate's face was just a bit red, but still a bit noticeable as he looked up at Hayley now pretty much straddling him. "So um... is this my reward?" He asked with a slightly nervous and embarrassed chuckle. Sure he liked to play around and tease her. And make jokes, but he wasn't really used to this. He wasn't sure exactly what to do or say.

"Wait what?" Hayley asked slighty confused until she noticed the position the were in. She quickly stood up and backed away cto her bed. A dark blush dusted her cheeks as she grabbed a pillow and chucked it at Nate's face. "Pervert!" She exclaimed. "You know I.. I wouldn't... I couldn't!" She stutered slightly not knowing what to say.

Nate couldn't help, but laugh a little. "Calm down." he said smiling before throwing the pillow back. "It's not like I've ever done anything aside from kissing or anything. Relax. I know already." He said as he sat up trying to ease her mind.

Nate got up and smirked before pinning hayley down on her bed. "I just never met a girl I cared enough for to move to the next level." He said as he looked down at her. It was true, but he was mostly just messing with her right now.

Hayley blushed lightly before looking towards the wall, finding it very interesting right now. Some how more interesting than her attractive boyfriend who was shirtless and pinning her down... on her bed... right now.

Hayley smiled sweetly, yes she smiled... sweetly before kissing his cheek. "I love you too kid idiot." She said resting her head on his chest/shoulder slightly as she stared up at the ceiling. Had she just said those words... yes she has and she was surprised by it too. She definitely wasn't used to the feeling.

Nathaniel put his arm around her, holding her close. This felt right. Still they probably couldn't stay like this for long. His mom was in the base. So was Jason. Eventually one of the two would come to see them.

Hayley didn't know why but on instinct she cuddled closer and relaxed. She usually was always slightly tense seeing as danger could be anywhere but right now, next to Nate she felt safe and felt that she could relax.

"Awww this is so cute." Jason said as he looked in from the open door. "I almost hate to wake them." Rose commented as she entered the room. She grabbed one of the chairs and sat by the bed. "Hello." She said as she slowly began to gently shake Hayley.
