"Wait what?! I would never!" May exclaimed backing away on the bed which ended with her falling onto the floor with her legs up and as she stood up a light amount of red dusted her cheeks with embarrassment. "I promise I've never done anything."

Red leaned over the bed and looked down at her laughing. "Obviously I was lying." He said unable to to stop his laughter. He waved his finger at her and smirked before holding his hand out to help her up. "Someone has a guilty conscience. Makes me wonder." He continued to tease her.

May pouted and stood up on her own swiping his hand away and stomping towards the door. She turned around and stuck her tongue out before opening the door and running off into the crowded hallway towards the exit. Only to be stopped by her older brother who had just returned from a mission with his meister. "Duke!" May exclaimed jumping and hugging him. Her older brother easily caught his younger sister and smiled setting her down and ruffling her hair. "How are you Ma-" He stopped when he saw her bandaged hand. "What happened? Did Red Star hurt you? I knew that I shouldn't have let you two pair up" Duke said anger getting to him. Duke was very overprotective and did not like Red Star one bit. "Duke..." May groaned trying to explain that it wasn't Red Star. Eventually she did but Duke still kept talking about how he didn't like Red Star.

"You know I kind of missed your openness about how much you hate me Duke." Red Star said as he approached the two. "Anyway. I'll just leave you to catch up with your brother May. Don't let me spend anymore time polluting the air you two breathe with my presence." he said as he continued past them obviously not liking the words spoken about him. But he wasn't about to beat up May's brother. Not unless he said something about something or someone other than himself that he cared about.

May glared at her brother before walking off and catching up with Red Star. "Sorry. He's over protective. He has always been. Now you actually know a big part behind it though, with my black blood and everything." May explained trying to calm Red Star down. She didn't like her brother being a jerk to her partner but she couldn't help it. Honestly if they as in Duke could get past the hatred they'd probably be good friends.

Red Star glanced at her and punched the wall causing a bit of a large crater. "I get that already. But still..." He looked at her. "What stopped my partner from defending me?" He asked obviously a bit hurt. "I know I kind of made you mad a second ago, but... It's like you didn't even try."

"Just forget it. It doesn't matter." Red Star said calmly. "Let's go get some food." He said as he grabbed her hand and pulled her along. "You're buying though." He added with a smirk.

May just nodded and let herself be pulled along. She knew that he was lying, it was something that did matter. She could tell. They had known each-other since they were kids and she was his partner.

May smiled and laughed slightly. The waitress led them to their normal spot and May didn't look at her menu. "I'm glad we didn't complicate it." She said while looking out the window.
