It wasn't long until after entering the basement-like areas of the HQ, they saw some kind of shadowy blob. "So that's this dimension's Shadow Essence. Not sure why it's here in the first place, but it's just there," Corentine said as she got herself armed,"I have a feeling you're going to help out on this one too, right?"

"Oh...yeah, I will," Takahisa snapped out of his thoughts and got himself ready to combat the incoming Shadow Replicas from the Shadow Essence.
"Mind you, I only came to meet up with Kaika," Beatrice teased a bit, and then mentioning that she was only here to see Kaika, who wasn't around at the moment.

"Cool, so...let's dance," Corentine said before she and Takahisa went to fight against the infestation of Shadow Replicas head-on.

"So, what's the count for you? I've taken down like 24 of them already," Corentine grinned and taunted her friend.

"Oh, what a surprise, I got 27 down, and I thought you were the kind of fighter that would beat me in this competition," Takahisa said as he used his vines to get the Shadow Replicas from long range.

"What!?!! Then I better set up my game!" Corentine blinked in shock, not wanting to lose this competition, switched her gunblades into wind blasters and shot many violent winds to take down the Shadow Replicas.
Soon after that, Kaika could be heard exclaiming this out as she comes back to the house,"Hey guys, I'm back!!"

A brief voice that sounded like it was coming from a little boy spoke,"Kaika...do you really have to yell that loud?..."

"C'mon, you're just copying me!" Takahisa said as he continued to manipulate the vines to take down the Shadow Replicas easily.

"Hey, it works though, right? Give me a break," Corentine stuck her tongue at him as she continued to shoot down the Shadow Replicas with her wind blasters.
"It's been only a minute and you and my brother seem to agree on something already," Kaika sighed, but laughed at how they seemed to pick up on that that quickly.

"Well....anyways, Kuro, meet Eren, Eren, meet Kuro. Hey wait a minute, Kuro, where the hell is Luki? she's supposed to be with us, actually she was with us a minute ago," Kaika said, and realized that her close friend wasn't here.

"Oh..I think Luki-san said something about checking out the shops downtown," Kuro recalled.

"How am I not surprised?" Kaika facepalmed at the thought of that.
Pretty soon they managed to destroy the Shadow Essence and the source of Shadow Replicas in this area. "I definitely got more than you..." Corentine boasted as she swung her gunblade/wind blasters in the air before putting them away in her boots.

"I technically won because you copied me," Takahisa shrugged as he recalled the seeds back into his pockets as soon as the vines retracted back inside the seeds.

"I think I should expecting this more," Takahisa said as he recalled all of the times Rachel had spied in any way ever since he got here.
At that moment, Kuro's cell phone was receiving a call. "Hey Kaika, it's Luki that's calling," Kuro said, and immediately Kaika took the phone and answered.

"Soooo...Luki, where are you?...of course, just hurry up, I'm sure you want to see me too, it's been a year since we last saw each other," Kaika spoke on the phone to Luki.

"Uh, Eren, how did you meet Kaika here?....I mean, I'm just curious...but usually Kaika's picky when it comes to other boys..." Kuro asked, thinking that Kaika was in a relationship with Eren even though Kaika already had a boyfriend (who's currently comatose in secrecy).

"Oh, habits eh? That's not a problem with Takahisa, he basically has a habit of keeping things organized and clean all of the time," Corentine said as she playfully wrapped her arm around his neck.

"Wait...since when did you know that!" Takahisa blinked in surprise.

"It's not that hard to get your Pact Spirit talking," she winked, referencing on how Slyph is easy to fool.
"I guess you know her pretty well, because usually she actually doesn't talk to much people at school..." Kuro said.
