'The Crossroads of the World' at Times Square were usually full of the famous yellow taxis, that drop off a person from point a to point b. But today was something different, at the crossroads, it was blocked off by protesters. Their shouts can be heard either known the taxi drivers were shouting at the protesters to move, but they were going to stay. Earlier, there were only a few hundred people at Times Square but now, there are about ten thousand people. They all surround the cars as they cheered on and shouting for the NSA to stop looking at personal information. There were some up on top the famous TKTS booth, where it sold Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, music, and dance events and West End theatre tickets. But, the windows were broken and booth was looted as employers left the booth, scared for their lives. While at the Times Square Police Station, protesters were surrounding the building as an officer called for backup. Some protesters were ontop of the building, talking apart the icon letters.

Meanwhile at another police station, Alexander was talking to another co-worker when he saw Sarah and decided to walk over to her. He grabbed two empty plastic cups and fill them with water and walked to her. "Hey Sarah, how is you day?" said Alexander as he gave the pastic cup to her and started to drink his cup.

Sarah sat at her desk as she waited for a call of some sort. The report screen rather unoccupied as she lied back in her seat, bored out of her mind. Being a cop, this wasn't exactly what she signed up for. She wanted something to do, but she was stuck here waiting for something to do, as everyone else was dispatched and out to go deal with the protest. The rest were here just in case things went awry, which as much as Sarah wanted to see some action, she didn't want to happen, because that means things had gotten really bad. She looked around the room, seeing officers roam around and chat among each other. It was a bit boring, putting a leg up on her others as she looked up at an officer approaching her, which turned out to be Officer Wayne.

She smiled and took the plastic cup, sipping from it as she thought about how exactly her day went, "Well. Boring." She said, rather bluntly. She was just about to continue before she heard dispatch come up through the radio, "All officers in the area, we have a 10-13U (officer in need of assistance) at Times Square. Suspects are potentially armed and dangerous, so gear up for the worst." Sarah perked up and picked up her radio, responding, "10-4, Dispatch. Adam Boy 14 responding." She said, looking over at Alexander, "Looks like we've got something going on."

Alexander laughed a bit inside as she responded to his comment and then he finished his cup of water and threw it in the trash can; the cup made into the trash can. It was boring as the office as usual; officers just talked or were on the computer all day until they were called for help. He then heard on a radio about a 10-13U for an officer at Times Square and that there were armed people. "Finally, something to do", Alexander's thoughts said that as he heard Sarah said that they have something going on and he followed her to the lockers. Alexander got into his and opened it, grabbing his riot gear and then setting them on a bench near him, the others in the building when to the lockers as well. Alexander said to Sarah while he was putting on his riot gear, "How did it sound?", he got the chest gear on.

While at the station in Times Square, officers were still on the radio and asked other police stations to come to assistance them. They then heard people hitting the glass and the door, shouting for them to come out and some said the famous quote to police officers, 'Fuck the police'. The three officers were surrounded by piss off protesters and they were near each other with their batons. They then saw a guy with a metal chair rushing towards one of the windows and threw it as it had broken the window. The chair landed near them and one of the said, "Luke, go to the radio, we got your back." as they rushed near the broken window, Luke ran towards the radio. "All stations, all station, we got a 10-13U at Times Square. Protesters have broken the window." Luke said that as a brink was launched by a guy at one of the officers' heads. The brink hit one of the officer's head; it hit the side of his head above the ear and the officer fall to the ground as his blood came out of his head and spilled into the ground.

"Shit! John!" one of the officers ran to his as he touched his neck and said, "He is still alive, but is loosing a lot of blood." as one of the protesters were able to fit in the hole and rushed to the door. The officer tried to run towards him with his baton to stop him for opening it, but it was too late, as the officer was overcrowded by protesters. Luke saw this and said, "All stations, they have broken in and overran the-." and Luke was grabbed for the behind and punched in the face as the radio in his hand fell onto the ground. Luke fell to the ground as well and then he passed out.

Sarah sprinted to her locker as she opened it as fast as she could, and grabbed all her riot gear. In this sort of situation, immediate response was crucial, and the fact they had to put on all of their riot gear before heading out onto the field was valuable time lost to assist the other officers that where being overwhelmed. And it didn't end at the putting on of the armor either, she had to grab a riot shotgun, or basically a Benelli M3 modified to shoot beanbag rounds. After she managed to don all of her armor, she started to run towards the armory, trying to reduce as much time between transitions as possible, and grabbed the shotgun she needed. She knew Alexander would catch up with her, so she would go at things at her own rapid pace.

After grabbing her shotgun, she ran towards the garage, maneuvering past the other officers who were longing to do the same. She sure hoped her Crown Victoria was able to get there fast enough. She ran up to the door, fumbling the key as she tried to insert it into the lock, and open the driver's seat door. Once she got in, she waited for Alexander to get in, so that they could respond to the emergency at hand.

After putting on his chest gear, he raced to put on the rest of his gear. Everyone within the station was in the locker rooms, to get their gear on and run as fast as they can to the armory. After he got all of his gear on, he grabbed his helmet and put it on as he was running towards the armory so were eight more officers. He grabbed the riot shields first and run pass some new officers coming in, the armory was busier than usual. Then he grabbed some pepper spray, tear gas, stun grenades, and a taser as he put all of them into pockets and ran out of the armory. He then realized that he forgot the gas mask, since he was going to be in the front line, he better have it just in case of tear gas. He opened his locker once more and grabbed the gas mask, then closed it and ran towards the garage.

Alexander saw tons of officers, exiting from the building as well, going towards their cars or to police buses. He saw K-9 units going to the protest as well, they really need a lot of people there. He saw Sarah's Crown Victoria in the parking lot, still and rushed to it and opened the passage door. He got inside and close the door and said, "Let's get going.".

After she saw Alexander jump into her Crown Victoria, the V8 inside roared to life as she shifted it into drive, peeling out of her spot and out onto the streets of New York City. The sirens were loud, letting everyone know that the cavalry was coming. She hoped traffic was good, because being stuck in traffic with her sirens blaring was one of the least enjoyable things for the civilians and officers alike. Times Square was only a few blocks away, but there was also a massive group of rioters closing in on the poor group of officers in the building. Which meant entry from the front wasn't an option. Rear entry was the most advisable, because it was the easiest way to get in and out of there. If the protesters had really taken the Times Square Police Station, then there was much trouble to be had. Unfortunately, there was no rear, so she and pretty much every other officer responding had to clear it up by themselves using their equipment. Judging by the situation, the protesters were most likely armed, but nobody wanted to cause a lot of casualties. Less-than-lethal was most likely a viable way to go, if they hadn't broken into the armory.

As they closed into the police station, Sarah slowed down when she could see remnants of the crowd. The Crown Victoria was parked a block away from the police station, parking horizontally so they had better cover to hide behind in case things got nasty. She grabbed her specially modified shotgun and opened the door, hearing the other officers come up and do the same. Another officer took the liberty of declaring their presence, telling the crowd to disperse or face canisters of tear gas being thrown at them and beanbags being shot at them. She aimed her shotgun at the crowd, ready to pace on anyone who dared to disobey.

The streets of New York City were usually busy, but today it wasn't as busy. Such, he saw taxis and people walking on the sidewalks, but most of the people were at Times Square. When they got to Times Square, it was like New Years Eve all over, but he saw smoke in the background of the protesters. They must of have set the cars on fire, whatever if people were still in the cars were unclear. But then he saw a water cannon and the Long Range Acoustic Device on a police van behind the car as she packed it a block away from that station. They walked towards the other police officers, some were coming up with a plan on how to advance towards the station and others were just making sure that the protesters don't advance. Alexander grabbed his riot shield and his baton as he ran towards the line, formed by officers with riot shield. He saw Sarah there with her gun, aiming at the people. The water canon and the LRAD got to their spots and the man on the LRAD said, "Leave this area or face arrest.".

Luke woke up in a place, that he knows so much about, the armory: right below Times Square. A protester grabbed him by his hair and rammed it towards the gate and said, "What's the code, pig?" and then Luke said, "I'm not going to you guys.". Another protester, with the famous ‎V for Vendetta mask, had a knife and put it around his neck and demanded to give them the code or they'll kill him. "You wouldn't do it." said Luke as the guy put the knife at the bottom of his ear and started to move slowly down to the neck, blood would come out and start going down to his suit. "Alright! Alright! Don't kill me!" said Luke as the guy was almost to his Adam’s apple and he pat his head and pushed him to the gate.

The protester said to him to open the gate and he entered: 6-3-0-7-7; it was Luke's birthday and the gate opened and the lights came on, which revealed the armory. Everything that is in a regular armory was there: armor, tear gas, riot shotguns, beanbags, and many other important things. Luke then asked if he was free to go, but the protester walked towards him with a baton and answered his question with a swing of the baton. He kept hitting him with the baton until he stopped moving and then grabbed his body and when upstairs. He shouted, "The armory is open! Grab what you want and fight back!" as the protesters rushed down the stairs, shouting and cheering. He put Luke down on the ground next to the guy, which was hit in the head with a brick and walked away.

Sarah stood behind her Crown Victoria for what seemed to be hours, seeing quite a bit of the crowd cascading into the police station. That meant something had went really bad inside the station, but she didn't know what. She changed her stance into a more combat ready one, aiming down the sights of her shotgun as she waited longer. Longer, until she saw a canister of tear gas fly out from the crowd, obviously headed towards the police. It didn't get close enough for maximum range, but that meant if the crowd had gotten access to the tear gas, then who knows what else they'd gotten to. Her question would be answered by the sight of other protesters running out, equipped with shotguns and armor. At that point, the person on the LRAD would commence the talking down of the now armed protesters. "PUT THE WEAPON DOWN!" He said, at his loudest, "PUT IT DOWN NOW!"

Of course, the protesters had an iron will, and wouldn't give up. "PUT THE WEAPON DOWN, OR WE WILL BE FORCED TO OPEN FIRE." He said, as Sarah aimed her shotgun at the nearest person. The person operating the LRAD then came on their radios, "On the count of three... open fire." He said, sighing, "1...2..." The countdown was cut short as Molotov Cocktail came raining down in front of the police. At that point, gunfire and water was being traded as a war between the police and the people they were supposed to protect commenced. She fired her shotgun at everyone she could see, cocking it with a smooth, mechanical motion as she snapped between targets. She could hear an officer radioing in for SWAT. Sarah could also hear the distant sound of a helicopter closing in, probably media or something. She looked towards Alexander as she fired off the last shot from her shotgun, before she was forced to reload, "Cover me!"

Alexander kept back the protesters for what seem hours, it could have meant that something has gone wrong. Until, he saw a canister of tear gas up in the sky and then landed next to a group of officers, it only meant one thing: they got into the armory and took all of the gear and other things. This is bad, but to make it worst a group of protesters with shotguns and armor on. The guy on the LRAD told them to put their shotguns down, but it wouldn't work as a Molotov cocktail landed near the officers and then a war began. The people we meant to protect versus the police, protesters took cover for the water cannon and fired their shotguns. Officers with shotguns also fired onto the protesters, but it didn't do anything on them but made them even more piss off. Alexander then used his baton to hit protester that were going to attack him with sticks, batons, anything that can cause damage.

As he hit another protester in the face, he heard his name being said by Sarah and told an officer behind him to switch spots as he ran towards her. "I got your back" Alexander said to her as he put his riot shield up to block a rock for hitting them. He then heard the sounds of a helicopter getting closer and closer until he saw a news copter, it was CNN. Great, now they are going to film this protest gone wrong as if people taking pictures were enough. "Well, we are going to be on the new least." Alexander said as she was still reloading her shotgun.

Sarah took the shells from the stock of her shotgun, loading them into the shotgun as fast as she could to return the fire back to the crowd. Despite all the returning fire, they just kept advancing and advancing. As soon as she inserted the the last shell, she could hear the sounds of footsteps rapidly approaching her and the car, which meant they had gotten too close. Her theory was confirmed as she saw one protester jump onto the trunk, armed with a machete, and tried to jump onto Sarah and Alexander, but she put a foot up to stop him and shot him in the chest with a beanbag. The force was more than enough to drive him off the car, and allow Sarah to get back up.

She continued to rain down fire on pretty much every protester now. This riot had turned bad, and the police were about to become overwhelmed. Sarah looked at Alexander as she fired her shotgun again, "What the fuck are we going to do?!"

Alexander looked onto the crowd, they were pushing the officers back and there was nothing that he could do for the officers other than protect his friend. He heard footsteps behind them and heard the shotgun go off and Alexander turned to see a guy with the machete on the ground. "Thank you." said Alexander as she was still firing her gun at everyone now. "What the fuck are we going to do?!" said Sarah as she was still firing at every protester and then Alexander said, "We have to hold this line before the protesters spread throughout New York City. On how we will do that, I don't-." he was going to finish his wording until he heard honking within Times Square. Alexander ran towards the street to see what the honking was about and he saw a large bus crashing into police officers as it rammed the van with the LRAD and then passed the police car and turned around, which caused it to fall on its side.

"Holy fuck. We got to fall back, get inside!" Alexander shouted as he got into the passenger seat and waited for Sarah to get in. As he saw other protesters get out of the bus by the windows, he shouted to Sarah to hurry up.

Sarah was taken by shock as the protesters got their hands on a large bus, effectively puncturing the line that they were forming. This was bad news, as the line they had formed had now been destroyed. Sarah groaned in frustration, as she fired at the people coming out of the bus. Within another two to three shots, she ran out of ammo once again, and she had no choice but to retreat into the Crown Victoria. She ran towards in, jumping inside of it as fast as she could. The police car roared to life as she shifted into reverse, backing out of the spot she had parked in as the protesters started to run towards them.

She was cursing under her breath as she backed up the car quite the way, seeing other officers having the same idea. She spun the car back, so the front end replaced where the back end was. She floored it and activated the sirens, trying to get back to their police station. "We need help. Bad."

Alexander saw that Sarah was upset at the fact that the line fell so quickly and he couldn't think of what's going to happen to the officers. Either known she show a couple of people for the bus, people were still coming out and running towards the car. Sarah drove away from the crowd, running towards her car, some threw things at the car and one guy threw a brick and it broke a side mirror off. Alexander then saw other officers doing the same idea as them, fall back to their station and gear up once more. He heard Sarah saying that they needed help and Alexander couldn't agree more, he hoped that SWAT would answer to their call. He then heard the commissioner on the radio, talking to the officers and he said, "All officers, this is the Commissioner. I request that all units defend Wall Street and keep it safe no matter what. If you have to kill the protesters, do so. Just protect the people in there, most of the business people are either there or had left the city just as things got bad. I say again, go to Wall Street and defend it. There will be supplies waiting for you there. And I have declared that the city is on lockdown until this mess is over. I hope that God is protecting you. Good luck men.".

It would make sense to defend Wall Street, It has the Stock Market and many banks are there. So if the protesters, were able to get to Wall Street and damage it, it would mean that the economy would get worse and could end civilization as we know it. Alexander overlooked as the cops behind and in front of the car were now going to Wall Street.

Sarah listened to the commander make his orders over the radio, she diverted the course of her Crown Victoria away from the police station, heading towards Wall Street instead. She figured they'd be reoutfitted with regular assault rifles and pistols with rubber bullets, allowing them to fire at will at all costs until some bigger support came in to hold them off. As she got closer and closer, she could see a stronger police presence as they fortified positions along the main street heading towards Wall Street. As she got closer, a police officer directed their car to park along a street, which she did.

After she did so, she exited, and started to sprint towards Wall Street, hoping there was still armaments for them.

Alexander didn't say anything else as Sarah drove up to an officer, which directed their car to park along a street. Sarah got out of the car first and then Alexander came out of the car as well, he shut the door and followed Sarah. As soon as they got to Wall Street, Alexander couldn't believe how protected the area was, hundreds of officers were there. Water cannons, LRADs, barriers, police dogs, mounted police, and many other things that you wouldn't see in any riot. Alexander walked towards a police van, it had assault rifles, launchers, pistols, anything that can be fired into a crowd that both had. He walked to the booth and was given a launcher and an assault rifle, he knew what that means, he was going to be up in the front of the madness.

He waited for Sarah to get her things, because he wanted to tell her something.

As Sarah proceeded towards Wall Street, looking over the fortifications NYPD had set up, she couldn't help but to think what exactly would happen after this "riot". It had escalated to a level the New York City Police Department had never seen before, and she didn't want to know how they would deal with it. Guessing on the way the police were equipped, a lot of casualties were to come, and the controversy and backlash would last for decades to come. Either way, the NYPD had to do their best to deal with this situation. As she ran up to the armory booth, she was also handed an assault rifle and a launcher, knowing she would be on the front lines as well.

She looked for Alexander, spotting him with a rather similar loadout to her's.
