May woke up the next morning and poured herself a bowl of cereal after changing into black leggings and a red brotank reading 'DWMA' on it with a black sportsbra underneath. She pulled her white hair into a ponytail and sat at the table eating her cereal.

Red awoke and upon doing so went to shower and clean up properly. After finishing everything and getting dressed he came out. Wearing plain black basketball shorts and a red muscle shirt. He ran his fingers through his hair. "So you think of a way to try and head into your soul?"

Red finished his cereal and cleaned up after himself. Then he walked over to May. "So we gonna just do the training at home?" He Asked calmly as he took a seat beside her.

"Yeah. " May said before turning towards him. "This may be weird but from talking to my dad and research it should work." May grabbed his hands with hers and began resonating her soul. Her eyes closed as she leaned foreword placing her forehead on Red Stars.

Thus entering May's soul. They would end up in a black room with a single door. May walked to the door and opened it. A bright light flashed and when they could see again they were in a strange forest and in new clothing. "Welcome to the madness of my soul." May said not looking at him.
(Thus begins their adventure :P)

"My madness self told me of this place. It may look nice but we have to make it through here to a supposed palace type building where my madness seems to have taken form as an evil queen. Maybe my obsession with Alice in Wonderland as a child is the cause of why madness took form like this." May said looking around

Red Star continued to look around before noticing his change in attire. "Um... What happened to my clothes?" He asked a bit puzzled. "Oh crap... Your's too." He said now noticing May's.

"I don't know... I'm guessing it has to do with where we are." May said looking at her clothing. At least it had some shorts and not a skirt or dress that would cause problems when fighting. "Should we head out now?" She asked moving on from the outfits.

May nodded and began walking through the forest. Looking for signs of danger. When they reached a clearing she stopped as she spotted what appeared to be a large puddle of black blood. The puddle began to ripple as it grew up. Soon it took shape as a monster three times the size and twice the height of May. She tensed up as she looked at it and held her hand out silently to Red Star.

Red Star grabbed may's hand. "Don't worry May. We've got this. Just trust me. And more importantly trust yourself." He said with a calm smile. He would have transformed already, but she hadn't given the order to transform and which form to take. Of course, holding her hand was good to reassure her and make her being able to hold him when he did transform easier.

May nodded slightly nervous. This was a fight within herself, what it would cause to her she didn't know but she had to fight it. "Ninja sword." May finally said when she finally found her words.

May nodded and charged. The monster blocked with his arms which seemed to be made out of something hard that parried her attack well. "We have to catch it off guard and probably attCk from behind. I'll keep attacking but in ways where it won't wear me down until I come up with a plan." May said as she kept attacking the front. The monster knocked her back by hitting her with its big arm but she landed on her feet and slid back, she covered her face from the dust that picked up and when she looked up a fire ball it had formed was flying straight towards her. Her soul, her mind, her weaknesses, her fears.... Fire. She stayed away from missions with fire because of her strange fear towards it. She froze, she didn't know what to do.

"Gah! You!" Red Star couldn't believe it. May was frozen in fear. Not good. "May you need to snap out of it!" He tried to call to her. But that wouldn't make her suddenly not be afraid of fire. "Get down!" He finally shouted as he reverted to his human form and tackled her down. He was still just a split second too slow though. The Fire didn't hit him full on, but it got his back just a bit. "You alright?" He asked gritting his teeth a bit cause of the bit of pain he received.

May finally snapped out of it and looked at him nodding. "You can get off me now." May said. She was aware of the burn and would take care of it when she wasn't pinned to the ground.

"Can I? Cause right now you don't look like you'll be of much use in this fight." Red Star being pretty blunt with his thoughts on the matter. Sure it was kind of mean. But he cared for May. And he was afraid she might get hurt. So if she wasn't up to it he wasn't gonna let her fight. Even if he had to force her to stay down. Which was odd since they were in her mind. But that made getting her out of this fear of hers even more important. Not the fear of fire which had subsided, but the fear of the madness and losing to it.
