"Get off red. You're hurt and I need to tend to the burn before I take out the monster alone since you need to rest, having an injured partner won't be of use when we meet something stronger." May said trying to push him off.

"Having a partner who can't do anything in her mind, but cower in the face of her enemy won't help either of us though. So you might as well just stay down and let me handle it." Red said as he held her down. "Right now you're pretty much just useless." He added bluntly.

Anger surged through May's body. She brought her legs up and planted her feet on his chest before kicking him hard to knock him off. She then stood up glared at him. "If I'm useless then get out and let me handle this myself. Go get a new partner, one who isn't useless." May growled before charging at the monster. She dodged attacks and slid under its legs. She then pushed herself up and grabbed onto the metal pieces in its back and pulled herself up. May dodged as it swung its big arm toward her, she then pulled on a piece of metal until it broke off. May then leapt off and dodged its big arm again. May used her agility and jumped on the big arm before it swung up, launching her into the air. She aimed and came down, the metal piece and her going straight into the black blood creature. May was now inside the creature and she killed it with the metal. The doll heads falling off the creature as it melted. In the end May was left standing covered in the black blood in the middle of a black blood puddle. She threw the metal piece to the side and then set her glare on Red Star.

"Glad to see your more or less back to normal May." Red Star said as he walked up to her and put his hand on her shoulder. "So where do we go from here partner?" He asked having quite enjoyed the show.

May tackled him in a hug thus covering him in black blood. "Now we match." May said hoping up and walking towards the woods. "Come on jerk. We have things to do, places to be, and people to see." May said as she entered the forest.

Red Star laughed as he got up too and followed May. "Gee... And I was just starting to like this outfit." He said as he caught up to her.

"Well I think I hear a waterfall and anyways we should find shelter for the night, we never know what else is out here." May said as she continued walking. Soon they arrived at a big lake with rockfaces and waterfalls. "Wow. My soul can also have a beautiful touch to it." May exclaimed looking around. "There is a cave right over there that we can sleep in, and we can wash off in the lake. You can start washing off, I'll start a fire and then I'm going to come check your burn." May said a tint of concern in her red eyes as she looked at her partner.

"Don't worry May. I'm tough enough that this little burn isn't anything." Red Star said calmly. "And as far as the fact that your sooul can be this amazing. What do you expect? It's your soul after all." He said before looking at the lake. "Alright. I'll be right back." He said as he walked past her and began to undress. "No peeking." He teased her obviously joking since right now he back was to him and his to her so he could undress without worrying. He trusted her anyway. And it wasn't like he was one to care about being undressed in front of her.

May walked over to a cave and started a fire quickly and brought some of the softer, squishier moss in setting up makeshift beds. When she was done she walked out of the cave but didn't look. "Put on some pants and then tell me. You aren't getting out of me checking the burn. I know it may not be bad but we need to make sure there isn't some side effect from being burned by the fire of a black blood monster. Then I'm going to take our clothing and wash it." May said adding the last part as an after thought.

Red Star finished his little wash and came back and slipped on his underwear. "Alright. Done." He said calmly. "I don't think you'll get to wash the underwear tonight though. Unless you wanna sleep naked." He laughed a bit. It didn't look like they had any extra clothing in her soul.

"Wasn't planning on it. " May said as she turned and walked over to where he was. She pushed him down so he was sitting and kneeled behind him. She inspected the burn and saw it was barely anything and that the clothing had blocked most of the fire. "Ok. You're good to go." May said standing up and heading towards the water. "Now go in the cave and don't look." May said, "Or else." She added at the end as she slipped off her boots and socks and set them aside. When she was hidden enough she undressed and washed their clothing before laying it all out on rocks to dry. She then put on her bra, tanktop, underwear and shorts before she dove into the water and swam deep into the lake just for the heck of it.

Red was waiting in the cave and looking around a bit. Of course, he wouldn't peek. He thought about it. A lot... He was still thinking about it. But he didn't. Self control was important thing for him to have. His mother made sure he had it unlike his father who'd peeked on his mother multiple times. "Now let's see... Is there a way we could get food?" He asked himself before sitting down. "Oh well... A day without food won't kill me." He then said resting his head against the cave wall.

May got out and dried off before redressing and putting her shoes back on. She carried Red Star's semi-dry clothes into the cave and threw them on his lap before she sat down next to the fire.

Red Star laid out the clothes opting to let them dry completely before getting redressed himself and sat up by the fire. "Have fun?" He asked calmly. He seriously had no probably being in just his underwear around May.

"It was refreshing. Hopefully we find food tomorrow though, I did not eat much before entering my soul. I never really thought I could get hungry in my own soul." May said with a slight laugh.

Red laughed a little too. "Yeah same here." He said calmly.."We should sleep in shifts. First you then me and etc. Just so we don't get attacked in our sleep."

"Ok, I'll stay up first. You go to bed, I'll wake you up in a bit for your shift" May said.

Red Star nodded. "Alright." He said as he laid down and closed his eyes.

May let him sleep, not tired herself at all. She didn't wake him up to switch and let him sleep until the sun had risen.

When the sun rose and shined into the cave Red Star awoke. "May?" He asked a bit groggy.
