One of us is gonna end up dead if we don't. And by thatI mean I'm gonna end up dying having to save your ass because you don't listen to me 90% of the time "If he thinks so lowly of me, why does he stick around. He deserves a better partner than me. One that he doesn't have to save doesn't he?" May muttered to herself.
"Yes he does, maybe you should use just a mere everyday weapon to fight the madness. Send him out of your soul. Let him live his life with a partner like he deserves." Something said. May looked around and on the end of the branch was none other than Cheshire Cat.
"How can I trust you... You are known for being manipulative." May said looking at him.
"That's in other versions of the story.. This is your story, your soul created me honestly. I wouldn't lie to you Mayy" Cheshire said. May contemplated it a bit but ended up trusting him, not recognize the madness wave lengths he was somehow hiding from her. "What did you say about a mere everyday weapon?" May asked curiously. Right then an intricate blade appeared before her.
"The Vorpal Blade, an anti-madness wavelength blade. Made by your soul for you." May grabbed the blade and swung it around a bit
"Now time to go give your partner a push out of your soul, or should I say soon to be ex-partner. He is right about everything and that's why he will be better off without you." May nodded and placed the blade under her belt. She began climbing down the branches and jumped down landing in front of Red Star, Cheshire Cat staying in the branches above only his eyes and smile barely visible.
"Red Star. We need to talk." May said simply staring directly at him, madness inside her slowly becoming off-balanced due to the blade resting on her hip under her belt..

(I hope this doesn't make it seem to focus on her too much)
