Things didn't work too well in Kris's favor. Sure he could hold his own. But Toya was the more skilled and advantageous of the Trimens. Soon things went for Nova and Toya and the fight was stopped. Kris and Reiji were still standing, but just barely. They both had a long way to go. "The winners of the first match are Nova and Toya by a very small margin. It was a good fight. Next is Hoshi and Midnight vs Lily and Yuuki!" Lisanna announced. While Chelia went to help patch up the losers the winners waited off to the side as the next teams took the battle field. Midnight was quiet. "Not much of a talk huh?" Hoshi asked calmly. Midnight was still silent. "Just the kind of guy I'd wanna take on two beautiful women with." The blonde Trimen said with a sigh and a sarcastic tone.

Yuuki bounced up and down and ran to the battlefield dragging Lily with her. "You know how to fight with a teammate who has a fire magic so we should work well together!" Yuuki said smiling slightly as she finally let go of Lily. Lily smiled and gave a slight nod before walking to the center where they knew they had to be before the match starts.

Midnight and Hoshi stared down Lily and Yuuki. "Well. It's a little unfair to be honest. But we're probably the best to team up." Hoshi said to midnight as Millianna gave the signal to begin. "Shadow Knuckle!" Hoshi called out as he shadows in the forms of fist shot out of his shadow towards the girls twisting and turning to fly at them from multiple directions. Midnight watched for a moment before shooting off head towards the too girls at high speed waiting for the right moment to attack.

Lily threw her hands up in a table flipping motion. "Root Barrier!" She chanted Roots growing out of the ground and creating a barrier around Yuuki and her. When the attack was over it disappeared. When it disappeared Yuuki was already prepared for an attack. "Flame God's Bellow!" She chanted as she roared out black flames straight towards Hoshi while Lily focused on the blur of Midnight. "Vine Boxing Gloves," Lily chanted as vines wrapped around her hands with thorns growing out of them. She prepared for him to come out of nowhere basically. She'd just have to fight her hardest.

Midnight's hands became engulfed in shadows. "Shadow dragons crushing fang." He stated his spell as he went for the gloves first to try and destroy them. He was fast. That much was obvious. "Woah." Hoshi said as he jumped back to gain a bit of distance as the breath attack came at him. "Guard Shadow." He said quickly as his shadow quickly formed a dome around himself to protect him.

Yuuki kept the bellow going hoping to outlast him. Lily took the punch to the hand and one of the gloves cracked a bit. "Thorn equip." She chanted as even more thorns grew out until it was asically fully covered in thorns. "I dare you to try again. It will hurt you more than it will me." Lily said watching him blur away again. 'if his speed stays like this I may have to pull out an advance spell. Not Fairy Form... but Fairy wings. My speed should the match him... It will drain a lot of magic energy though so it will be a last resort' Lily thought to herself. The only person to ever see her use Fairy Wings was Iggy and the speed mage they were up against at a younger age.

"You believe a floral fairy can match a shadow dragon?" Midnight questioned her calmly. He didn't feel the need to use Shadow drive. That'd be saved for dragneel. "Finally he stopped. "Shadow dragon's roar." He uttered quickly sending the blast at Lily. "Better save your magic! You know that you'll need it against me!" Iggy cheered for Lily studying her and Yuuki closely. She could dodge the attack without any advanced spells. After all. She handled herself so well against his fire dragon roars. This shouldn't be much. After a moment Hoshi was no longer standing in his original position. "Heh... Shadow form is so useful." He said as he came up behind Yuuki. "Now. Shadow Knuckle." He used the attack from before sending multiple fists from his shadow at her hoping to catch the flame god off guard.

Yuuki couldn't turn quick enough to dodge or block the attack but Lily could. Lily focused and created a root barrier around Yuuki and then grabbed Hoshi and made sure they both got hit by the Shadow Dragon's Roar. She had just sacrificed herself slightly for Yuuki but the worst the roar did was knock her off her feet and cause a few rips in her clothing and some scrapes and bruises. She may have used Hoshi as a slight shield. Lily pushed herself of the ground as the barrier around Yuuki disappeared. "Vine throw." Lily chanted as vines grabbed Hoshi and threw him at Midnight. Yuuki and Lily looked at each other and nodded. They walked to each other and grabbed hands. "Bellow of the Fire God!" "Razor Petals!" They chanted. The bellow shot out of Yuuki's mouth and sharp petals that were made of metal swirled around it in a unison raid headed straight for the other team.

Hoshi was really out of it when he was used as a shield and then thrown at Midnight. Midnight caught his partner, but in doing so he was left open to take the brunt of the unison raid. Which sucked. The two were put down and the fight ended with Lily and Yuuki as the winner. "Next. After a short break Yuuki and Lily will fight Nova and Toya." Hibiki called out as Lisanna led Midnight and Hoshi to Chelia for healing.

Lily laid down on the ground and stared into the sky soaking in the sun, "Thanks for taking the blow and saving me." Yuuki said. Lily nodded and smiled. "That's what friends do!" Lily said. Yuuki than began smiling too and pulled Lily into a bone crushing hug.

"Fire Dragon, I can do what I want." Yuuki said sassily as a joke after letting go of Lily. "Yeah. Hopefully better than the past one which it won't since Nova is fighting. God I hate people who are full of themselves. That's what I get to deal with in the next fight. GREAT!" Lily said sarcastically.

Iggy laughed a bit before leaving the two alone as Hibiki announced the beginning of the next fight. Nova and Toya took their position on the make shift battle field. Lisanna raised her hand ready to begin the fight. "Both sides ready?" She asked. "Heh This won't even be a challenge." Nova laughed a little. Toya shook his head and sighed. Nova was a little... He sighed again.

Lily smirked her eyesight already on Nova. THey never got to finish their spar. Yuuki also prepared for battle her hands lighting up with dark flames.

Iggy was watching the fight pretty calmly. Lisanna backed up a bit and then brought her hand down. "FIGHT!" She called out. Tora kept in place and began firing blast of wave magic at the two girls. "Good job trimen. You ain't so bad." Nova sneered as he charged in. "Please... To be praised by someone like you just hurt's my stomach." In truth Toya only partnered up with Nova because he lost a game of rock paper scissors to the other Trimen. Yuuki had already taken Lily as a partner after all. The choices were only guys and the like. Nova sucked his teeth, but kept moving forward his fists beginning to glow white ready to unleash a multitude of punches on Lily. Then he'd go for the fire god slayer.

Lily and Yuuki were caught off guard by the wave magic and were knocked back. They both landed on their feet and Yuuki looked at the two she was fighting against with and breathed in. "Fire God's Bellow!" She bellowed(see what I did there hehe) as a blast of dark flames flew out of her mouth towards the two. Lily readied herself for an attack, a ball of vines and flowers and roots began to grow in between her hands as she waited for the perfect opportunity.

Toya chuckled a bit forming a wave barrier around himself which essentially negated the bellow. Nova on the other hand leaped over the blast and came down from above. "White Dragon's Machine Gun Fist!" (totally didn't just make that up) He shouted releasing a flurry of punches at extremely high speed on the fairy girl.

Just as Nova was about to hit her she released the ball to hit his fists. On contact the ball of magic and vines and roots/plantation would explode in a burst of green magic and the vines would aim to wrap up the target. The blast of course would have slight affect on her but it would just cause a bruise or two and knock her back a bit if it did make contact.

The ball indeed hit Nova's fist and did as Lily had planned. However, Nova wouldn't go down so easily. He continued to try and force himself to his feet and break free of the binds as Toya charged forward. "Though I hate fighting women, I still have enough respect and admiration for you to know not to hold back. So come at me with everything and I'll do the same." He aid as he sent literal waves of wave magic at the two.
