Bruce closed his eyes, slowly calming down little by little. It was a few minutes before he opened his eyes again, finally calmed himself down to where he wasn't shaking anymore the nightmare still lingered. It didn't bother him as much as it had, when he first woke up.

Max continued to rub his back. "Did you sleep at least a litle without the nightmare?" She asked concerned. He needed rest, mostly for his health if anything. It may not kill him but it would effect him.

Bruce let out a breath, "yah maybe two or three hours at the least." He mumbled against Max's shoulder, not moving for awhile. He closed his eyes again, "I don't know what to do anymore max it scares the hell out of me just to go back to sleep."

Max sighed. "I wish I could take it away or exchange it to me instead. Just so you didn't have to have it all the time. You just have to think to yourself and accept he's in a better place. I think that may be part of the reason Bruce."

Bruce took a shuddering breath and let it out slowly, "I'm trying my best to let go but I'm the one who can feel the pack bonds around us and everything the pack bond doesn't severe when one of us dies max it just feels like something's missing and I can feel that that's why it's hard for me to let go."

Max closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She didn`t know what to tell him or how to help him. In this situation she felt utterly useless. All she could say was to relax and try not to think about it before he goes to sleep or to jsut relax while she stayed up for awhile to make sure it didn`t happen again.

Bruce let out a low growl, "max don't stay up for me. The best I can do right now is ignore it the best I can, but don't even think about staying up all night for me." He mumbled it into her shoulder, though his voice can be heard loud and clear.

Bruce let out a sigh, "and you need sleep to max I'll try to go back to sleep . Still don't you dare stay up for me, brother wolf will annoy me till I wake up to make sure you go to sleep." With that he laid back down onto his side, falling back asleep this time a dreamless sleep.

With a small sigh Max laid back down and closed her eyes. She wanted to stay up but with brother wolf playing watch dog that wasn't goingto happen." So she relaxed again and fell back to sleep on the hard ground.

Bruce woke up by morning, he sat up to where he wouldn't be waking max up. He pulled on his boots, getting up to his feet. He saw the rest of the pack starting to wake up, he would wait till the whole pack was up before he would start working again.

Max continued to sleep even after he'd gotten up. She was dreaming althou it was a pleasent one. So much that on the outside she was physically smiling about it. Her breathing was calm and quiet.

Bruce looked toward her, he smiled a bit. Before he kissed her forehead then got to his feet, he stretched his back protesting and popping as he stretched. Sleeping on the hard ground didn't help him much, he would be happy once the build was done.

The smell of vampire blood was curently in the air. It was obvious there was no fight but the smell was in the air and coming closer slowly. Suddenly smelling this Max woke up from her pleasent dream and sat up sniffing the air the smell instantly making her eyes turn red. She yawned and looked at Bruce. "Why do I smell vampire blood?"

Bruce sniffed the air, his eyes slightly turning amber. "I don't know max , but it smells like its getting closer to here slowly probably trying to see if there's any weak points." He looked around the clearing, smelling more than one vamp.

Killian appeared at the edge of the clearing after awhile. He was holding his arm covered in blood. He walked about halfway into the clearing before falling on to the ground. "They`re coming right behind me." He grunted out quietly in pain. Max quickly stood up and ran over to him before kneeling down next to him. "They can`t know about this place Max. You all need to be safe." He said looking at her panting from the effort.

Bruce was by Killian in an instant, looking over the wounds then calling peter over. Bruce let out a sigh, looking over at the woods, He shifted grabbing Lillian's shirt that was now discarded as peter worked on him. He knew a way of getting tem away from the pack, and he wouldn't get hurt. He ran leaving blood marks on trees far away from the pack, he knew the vamps were following he could smell it, he threw the shirt over another cliff before running back to the pack the scent of the vamps fading.

Killian looked at Peter. "Don't bother Peter, I'm not going to make it through this." He said and took deep breaths. He looked at Max. "Take care of yourself please. Don't run into trouble on instinct. You need to learn to keep control and think before acting. I've seen you grow up all these years and your stubborn as hell. No one can teach you to back down." He said and looked at Bruce. "Take care of my niece or I swear I'll come back from the grave and hurt you." Killian threatened. Max looked at Killian. "Don't say that stuff your going to make it."

Bruce held his hands in surrender, "no matter what I can't hurtful her Killian she's my mate once a mate always a mate. Peter just try see what you can do for him at least, since he has been on our side since the beginning of this hell." He had his arms crossed, looking down at killian. "We won't let you go without a fight you may not be part of the pack, but your a brother of the pack always will be." Peter went to work on killian seeing what he could do for him.
