"Not sure, but it definitely had a serpentine body structure." James replied to Bonnie. He turned his attention back to the others. When Andrew mentioned going back, James had second thoughts about doing so. “Not so sure about that idea at the current time.”
"You want to go up there?!" Bonnie was horrified. "Are you sure there isnt anything else we can do...who knows what it's capable of." Bonnie usually had a pretty strong conscious. She could sleep with no problem even after inspecting a dead body. But something about this made her unstable and anxious. She was never one to believe in the supernatural but that beast was nothing like she had ever seen before.
Andrew no had reason to believe this tale was true when his best cops feared this thing. Andrew was about to speak when they heard the noise again but time it sounded like it was coming from the bottom of the hills near Lake Union.
"Um.... guys?" Luciano saw something in the distance... a dark cloud covering an area of the sky. it had a purple hue to it. He pointed at it. "i think i knw where your noise is coming from."
"Ah, well it's nice to meet you, Luciano," Bonnie said as she firmly shook his hand. "I'm detective Bonnie Chandler and behind me is Officer Staiger and Detective Richardson." Bonne then turned to Andrew. "If you want to go see it for yourself, I will accompany you...but we need to be prepared."
James smiled and shook hands with Luciano as Bonnie introduced him. Once again, the beast made the noise again, which James found just a little irritating now. He looked up to the cloud that Luciano was pointing to and sighed. “Guess we don’t have a choice.”
"What is that thing?" Bonnie muttered under her breath as she saw the purple-ish cloud flouting in the distance. She took a step back, closer to James. "Are you coming with us, Officer Staiger?"
James looked back at the purple cloud in the sky, unsure of what to think. So many peculiar things were happening in such a small time frame. “Yeah, I can’t just leave this alone anymore,” James explained. “I feel like it’s partly my responsibility now.”
"Well, we're happy to have you with us," Bonnie said, patting James lightly on the shoulder. "You too, Luciano. We need all the people we can gather. If we are going to go head to head with this beast, we are going to need power."
"If we stop at my place, I have a few weapons." Luciano said... the thought about it. "I have a license to own and use them. I swear." He let out a nervous chuckle.
James shot Luciano a suspicious glance for a second. “Not a smart thing to say in front of all of these cops,” he joked. “Anyways, you gonna be alright? I mean, you did just have quite the drink earlier, I assume.”
Bonnie waited patiently outside of the car while everyone gathered their items and prepared for the journey to the beast. Herself, she had an old mauser pistol as well as multiple rounds of ammo, in addition to her dagger.
