Aside from the open super unit in the ns. Any other issues? I'm on a phone so you wont see any. Changes but I can at least get the input. What was the verdict on magic anyway. My battlefield medics idea is riding on that.I made a post on them a few pages back about them. If you need referenceAlso I will not be upset one bit without magic. Honestly I'm fine with a world with little to none.

In my opinion I'd just say avoid magic all together. Or roll magic in with the ambiguity of phenomenon unexplained by the people of the world or revelation. Something that could be one way or the other.

I think ill shy away from the spirit fingers and such. Having fantasy races is fun enough.

And of course the flying elephotress. :)

I'm going to chime in on the dragon bit even though MP was joking. I don't know where people get this misguided idea that dragons are somehow god-tier units in fantasy RPs from. Perhaps they're potent for their speed and capacity to set things afire (such as cornfields and villages, which could very well deliver a hammer-blow to an enemy's war-waging capabilities and logistics), but with crossbows, bows and arbalests, punching holes in a dragon's wing membrane should be relatively simple. Once grounded, proceed with encirclement tactics with spearmen. Or just shoot it some more with ranged weaponry some more until it bleeds out.

Most ppl think of Dragons from D&D, that might be it, though even in at least 3.5, they become cannon fodder pretty quick due to most DM's having no idea how to use them.

Well I got a WIP up, though it's not much to begin with. I'll fill it out eventually/soon though. As for my opinion on magic, I think I'd prefer it to either be no magic or to have magic but it be a rather subtle thing in the universe. But I'd be fine with whatever, to be honest.

I also don't see dragons as being a big no, so long as they aren't the kind of dragons with impenetrable scales and are so big they could swallow a mammoth whole.

Placed up my thus far incomplete App, Expect it finished around Monday or the end of Monday the latest.

Btw, anyone open to the idea of having enslaved a race previously in the past?

Oh neat, I was a bit worried about the size until I read it and discovered that is was mostly volcanic desert wasteland. Though I have to wonder, were you influenced by the Dunmer? Because if not, then that's quite a coincidence in some respects. XD

As for the enslaved thing, I don't think the Hanarth would have enslaved one specific race. And besides, we're a bit far away anyway.

I know about Dunmer, but my real inspiration, believe it or not, was the Storm Lands. (hence Scorched King and so forth)

I know a weird thing for it to morph into, also for the enslavement I don't mind distance, heck further the distance the better. After all you don't often flee right next door to your former masters if you can avoid it.

(I also pulled some inspiration from the Redguards, with the sublime way and all that, but that will come later.)

Well, when you talked about dark-skinned people herding bugs I immediately thought of the Ashlanders. Though I am curious as to how the Storm Lands fits in as inspiration; I don't really see it.

Eh, while a larger distance might be better our nations are still on completely different sides of the continent. So that distance may be a bit too large. But you got a couple of other people who are closer, so they might oblige.

That's racist!

Well I thought up the idea while watching Game of Thrones, and thinking about the House, then lands they would rule. If not for that I probably would never have thought of the idea. Maybe it will come out more when I finish the sheet. Or maybe not :K

I wonder what those crazy Imperials over-yonder think of their neighbors.

Oh it is not. What other bug-herding dark-skinned people can you think of?

Hmmm, maybe.

I think that may depend on whether or not they have point ears, but I can't really say for certain.

They look like this.

Only muuuch darker, never enough redguards in fantasy. But that also explains their African-ish like name, and the dreadlocks. >.>

Nation Sheet is up. Let me know if there's anything I need to address or fix or whatever. I don't have a picture of my location as of yet, but I'm looking to remedy that within the hour.

Now that a few nations have been put on the map, I think I can safely say I'll be settling my nation primarily on the coasts in the narrow sea between the western and eastern continents. I'm planning on playing a trade nation, with the main city built in a coastal lagoon, not unlike Venice.

Once there are a few more nations on the map, I'll determine where exactly my territory will be, and throw up my sheet.

The only glaring problem I noted right off the bat was that your nation is not a vassal realm to my own.

Nah, just joking it looks fine. :P

I'll just jump in and reserve this area before anyone else does, if that's okay. I'll begin work on a WIP sheet later today, after I finish up a post for another RP.

Massive war-like nation begs me to contemplate how its existence impacted the development of nearby powers and the powers abroad.

When I postedmy first location, dihn and I talked area. My original nation was about the size of modern day Kazakhstan. If you look at a map of Asia, you'll notice that Kazakhstan isn't that small.

Its a good reference to judge land, just use my nation which is roughly 3/4 the size of Kazakhstan.

Also if any one chooses elves as their nation, expect instant distrust. Prejudice
