Stargate: Alliances is a ship based Sci- Fi RP following an episodic format. the characters are mainly divided between civilian, military and alien factions that work together for better tomorrow. Episodes have GM oversight, but players are free to come up with their own and submit them for review.
The story is now briefly stationed at Earth, so it’s a perfect time to join!

Episode 1:
After it’s shakedown, the new IOA ship the Catherine Langford and her crew embark on their first assignment: Checking out an ancient outpost on a backwater planet. Little do they know that the Lucian alliance is interested in doing exactly that and doesn’t want to share.
the crew and ship are put to test in combat conditions when the negotiations with the locals break down. With the local relic Goa’Uld ships outmatched by the [/i]Langford[/i], the crew uses a strike team to accomplish the primary objective before leaving, but not before they manage to snag a ship form the enemy’s hands and destroy much of the rest.
Episode 2:
Receiving an SOS from an allied planet Langara, the Langford is sent to assist. With the initiative on their hands and advanced scouting, a plan is formed and the liberation of the unstable planet begins.
Their plans are betrayed however, as a spy sabotages the ship’s most powerful weapons, leading to a prolonged fight. Coincidentally, an assassin from another faction of the Lucian Alliance kills the ship’s weapon’s specialist in retaliation for using nerve gas to decrew one of their ships.
Unknown to anyone, said specialist is a Tok’Ra agent long forgotten on earth from the times when the Alliance between the races was tenuous. Discovered by the ship’s Tok’Ra XO, the captain makes a dangerous decision to keep silent as not to endanger the alliance.
With Langara safe, the Langford heads to Earth to repair the accumulated battle damage, make modifications to fit the gathered combat experience and to give the crew a short time to relax.
