At first I was gonna suggest they try to take headshots which would break up the fight with the peacekeepers but then I figured Katniss or Johanna would be cheap to try anything like that. I was just thinking she'd bring up what she said at lunch and how she had to have Haymitch defend her actions. I think that would prompt Katniss to say pretending to be with Peeta A) wasn't her idea and B) as Haymitch said, if she could have saved her other tribute, she would have done the same thing and C) she doesn't need Haymitch defending her cause he's totally not her boyfriend.

OR I figure Johanna would mention something about Peeta or her sister but if Haymitch is brought up, Katniss would get more protective and drop her B.S 'trying to be nice and ladylike' act. Which might push her to go over and see what Haymitch has been up to.

It still might be nice to have Johanna and Katniss' fight broken up (maybe because two other tributes are fighting and need to be stopped instead) so they have can unfinished business in the arena though with less real animosity and more 'it's fun to piss you off' kind of mutual mindset.

I think Gale could help spot Prim when she is lifting weights and it's possible all four of them could run together, maybe get a little competitive to see who can run the fastest or furthest on the simulation.

Should Katniss end up giving Johanna a black eye? I feel like Katniss isn't that mean but if she was provoked, she might feel less bad about it. Then again, Johanna was asking for it, unless Haymitch also wanted Johanna to kinda push Katniss' buttons to see how far she'd go. I imagine they'd stick to punches and some kicks with them ending up on the floor with Katniss finally getting the upper hand before Johanna pushes her too far and makes Katniss give her a good hit.

And yeah, Gale could totes spot her with just his arm, ya know he's got bulging muscles and all that. And yeah, it would be fun to see them have some cute rivalry going.

I think a black eye is pretty reasonable is Johanna is low enough to make comments about Prim and Haymitch. She might even throw in a few about Peeta and Gale just to really bother Katniss. I think Haymitch's intentions were to see how far both of them would go and if they were capable of working together. If they're going to kill each other then he won't want Johanna in the alliance. He might say something to Peeta about it like it matters, haha.

It might be in their best interest, alliance wise to appear as enemies or to at least get all the aggression out of the way, so the fight could still be viewed as a positive thing. I assume the Capital could heal her black eye pretty quick with their savvy medical stuff. If Katniss ruined Johanna's look for the Ball, there might be hell to pay. Would I assume after the fight breaks up it would be around time for the session to be over and for them to all go back to their rooms?

That's true. I imagine any injuries sustained will easily be healed and I don't think Snow would want the tributes looking raggedy, so Johanna will be fine for the ball. Yes, exactly <3 Haymitch is always ready to give out praise for rule breaking that entertains him. Yeah, I think they can hang out for a bit after we give them their respective conversations and more training for Prim. I like cranberries, even the stuff that comes out of the can but I found a really awesome recipe for it last year with bosc pears and cinnamon sticks and orange zest and garam masala and it came out fantastic. Everyone loved it, so I'm making it again this year because it was so good. And yes, I know, haha. No one needs watery whipped cream, that's just sad. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, tbh.
