Viral didn’t want Yumi helping him with something like this, especially when she was supposed to be keeping her clothes on and making sure he was feeling comfortable. Right now he definitely wasn’t feeling comfortable, his eyes averted in the extreme awkwardness this kind of scene was making him feel. Even if it was Vegeta doing this it would make him feel awkward, but Yumi doing it was definitely a lot worse. “Why am I special for this to happen…” he grumbled, keeping his head low. He didn’t care that he was wounded, he wounded himself by accident after all, but the fact that he had healing abilities should had been enough for her to ignore them. Grunting as she dabbed his head he shifted it slightly, not really focusing much on anything else other than the discomfort before she wrapped his head up pretty tight. He didn’t see any need for that, but if she wanted to then there was no stopping her. Looking up to her he frowned, letting out a grumble as he looked away. “So you expect me to act weak every so often? I’m not sure how I am supposed to do such a thing”, he mumbled, feeling a little confused, “I just act as I always act…acting as I have always been this way. I don’t understand how you expect me to act. I’m not going to cry or anything like that. It’s just…nothing…”

T’charrl was not entirely sure what was out there apart from the tales from hunters and from books. His kind weren’t very good at being explorative when there was so many dangers out there, mainly from their own people. He wanted to have fun with his friends, but it was difficult when he didn’t know how. “Umm, well…maybe Mother will want me to do things with her first…” he spoke, giving his chin a little tap, “I was raised a Prince so she’ll probably want me to do something with her”. He wasn’t trying to avoid playing with them, he just didn’t think it was possible when he might have a lot to do himself. He had responsibilities and often they were scary, but they were what he needed to learn and if he didn’t learn them then he wasn’t going to get anywhere in his life. He needed to learn how to change back and that was holding him down for now. Looking up at Takeshi again he smiled, finding it strange that his first instinct was to try and eat them. “Uhh, just to say something about them and that they could be…uhh, like my people. Stop from moving. Uhh, you know, you know? We can bite or lick and we can stop the moving of others”.

Shu was pretty happy licking his hands after that fruit, finding it to be pretty delicious when it was ever so slightly cooked by Ki. He was having a good time, but it seemed T’charrl was confused to what treatment he might get when he goes back home. There was a lot stopping him from desiring playtime with them and a lot of it seemed pretty strange, simple assumption that things were going to go wrong. Tilting his head a little he looked to Takeshi when he asked him a question instead, bouncing a little, “I want to explore with Friend! Friend should come…he should! It be nice!” he squeaked, smiling happily, “Friend needs to change back too before he sees his mother, though! She will be mad if no, right? How do we do?”

Yumi may have forgotten about Viral's healing abilities, or just wasn't confident they would work well in his current condition. Either way she was adamant about bandaging her friend up at the expense of her own dignity, not at all comfortable doing what she was even around someone she knew. "I can't answer that... But I'm just trying to take care of you, I'd do this for anyone," she said, tying a careful knot to make sure the makeshift bandage was secure, "Maybe not the same way, but I'd try helping the others too." Aside from making quite the scene she saw no fault in what she was doing, it was just natural to want to help. Once the wounds on Viral's head were covered up she slipped her now vest back on, frowning as she glanced at her bare arms before shrugging slightly. It was better than just being in a camisole at least, and it was comfortable to wear all things considered. Sorting out her clothing she moved back for the door, pausing and looking over at the Beastman curiously. "No... I don't want you to act weak... I'm just saying it's okay if you're vulnerable sometimes, or hurt, or need help. Everyone needs a hand now and again, it doesn't make you any less of a man or a warrior. No one person can do it all Viral, that's all I'm trying to say." Pushing open the door Yumi stepped back out, holding it open for her friend with a small smile. "It's what...? You can tell me what you were going to say, I won't tease you or anything for it."

Takeshi might have told T'charrl to make his mother wait a bit if he wasn't so afraid of being flayed for mouthing off. Okay, so the Kaesstrian had some family matters to attend to, but they couldn't take that long. Chances were they would be on Kaesstra for at least a few days so there was bound to be ample time for them to go have fun together. He wanted that and he was sure Shu did as well. "If you've got some Prince-ly duties to take care of first then that's fine, no problem," he remarked, shrugging his shoulders with a smile, "We'll have time to do what we want eventually, so don't worry about it." While T'charrl was busy he figured that Shu could show him how to swing in trees, seeing as the little guy was so intent on doing that together. It was a bit daunting still, Takeshi had a real tough time envisioning swinging about with just his bare hands. It would probably sting like hell too, scraping up against the bark and all, but he was going to give it his best shot. "Then I just don't get bit! Or I bite first," the Saiyan said, grinning as he made a biting gesture, "It won't be the first time I hunted something dangerous, you know. I've eaten some nasty creatures, like an alligator. They're kind of like those lizard people we fought on Shaharia, only... They crawl around and have really long mouths. And they are really yummy when cooked with some butter!" Oooh, they should try getting some alligator meat when they got home! There were none around his home though, or East City as far as he could recall. It might take a bit of exploring then to find their meal.

The conversation thus far was between himself and T'charrl, but what did Shu want out of all this? It was a given the young Saiyan would want to play, he always wanted to play. For the sake of asking Takeshi went ahead and questioned his brother, not surprised by the reply he got. Yeah, that was about what he had expected, Shu would get a kick out of getting to see the planet in greater depth. Plus they could do their tree swinging stuff, or play games as they explored, there were plenty of possibilities for them. "I think the Queen might be just a bit pissed at us if you're not back to normal," Takeshi agreed, smiling over at T'charrl before turning back to Shu. Hm, how were they going to help him anyways? Glancing up at the ceiling and scratching his nose the older boy thought about it for a good moment, humming airily to himself. "Well... You said you were missing just a piece, right T'charrl? Try telling us what that one piece is you're missing and maybe we can fill in the blanks for you? We might be able to describe it better if it's only a small bit, not nearly as hard as describing a whole person, you know?" Toning it down a bit his cheeks flushed slightly, folding his arms once more as he looked to the side. "Or... You know... I can try drawing it for you if you don't think my art is total crap..."

Viral wanted to do everything for himself, sure, but that wasn’t something he was going to be able to do when Yumi was babying over him like this. He needed some way to find calm and even though Yumi was trying he was feeling pretty stressed as everything seemed to upset her. He didn’t mean to upset her but every so often he’d end up causing her grief because of something he said or something he did. It was hard trying to get passed all that and he definitely wasn’t making it easy on himself, especially with the way he continued to hurt himself and get all angry over tiny things. “I shouldn’t need taking care of…” he mumbled, still feeling pretty annoyed with everything, “They don’t have healing like me so they should get more help than me…”It was just a few marks, no big deal to him. He didn’t want Yumi worrying over things that were so tiny and could be washed away with just some water. Holding his paw to his head he stepped out of the room with a grumble, looking around immediately to see if anybody was around. Thankfully there was nobody, but Yumi was still pressing him with questions in an attempt to get him to open up. “Hmph…if you expect me to say something to make me sound weak then you’ve got another thing coming! I just can’t stand the position I’m in and everyone’s trying to make me feel weak because I am like this! I’m sick, I get it, but I don’t need pity…I just want to be free!”

T’charrl would like to have fun with his friends but there were other matters to attend to and whether he was going to be able to play with them he had no solid idea. He wanted to have fun, but he definitely didn’t have the same kind of lifestyle these two had. “I know you’ll probably have to go back out to that war if you can soon, so can’t be there too long, right?” he smiled a little but looked away again, “It is still going to be nice going home again, though…” T’charrl didn’t think Takeshi knew much about the poison the top predators of his planet tended to have, especially when he probably didn’t know his own species had poison too. One bite from a predator could have him stunned long enough for it to eat him before they could do anything about it. He already felt the poison his kind had when he was stabbed so he should at least be moderately aware of what it was like. “Uhh, I don’t know if I want to think about eating things just now, especially when I don’t know if you can even eat them. I haven’t heard of such creatures from your planet…”

Hearing Shu express his enthusiasm was pretty nice, but his concerns were certainly a lot more realistic than him being able to get out and explore with them. He really needed to try and get back to normal but he had no idea how he was supposed to do such a thing, especially when he couldn’t figure out what he was missing. Maybe it was something simple, but he was completely struggling with it. Frowning he gave his head a quick scratch, looking up to Takeshi again before he sighed. “I don’t know what it is, that’s the problem I’m having”, he spoke, shaking his head a little, “Maybe I’m not thinking right. I’m a little scared now if I can’t find it…” He felt pretty confused, he didn’t know if he could get back to normal either if this was the case. He could just be able to think about it and that was it. Looking back to Takeshi he tilted his head a little, “Art? That is the word for it? Oh…uhh, but I remember everything you’ve said I look like from memories so I’m not sure what you will be, uhh, drawing? Ohhh, what do I do? Mother will kill me…”

Yumi was doing what she felt was best, even if it meant doing something as awkward as tearing her shirt up. They should cover Viral's head wounds either way just to keep the blood from trickling down, they were bound to close on their own soon enough. Plus he looked sort of neat with a pseudo headband on, or he might if it weren't baby blue. Even if he wasn't wanting her help she felt partly responsible for the situation he was in and she had to try doing something to make amends for that. Yumi understood she wasn't going to be the one to finally make the Beastman feel better, she knew that, but she could at the very least help him along. Stepping back into the hallway she tried one last time to get Viral to open up a little, prodding about what he was going to say a second ago. "Saying something is bothering you or hurting you isn't a sign of weakness," she remarked, frowning as she rubbed one of her arms, "If you ask me... Trying to hide it all is weaker. It shows you can't trust those around you enough or don't think it's worth mentioning. Nothing is as weak as holding back, don't you agree?" He didn't need pity but he sure was getting it. Those who weren't pitying Viral were his enemies, everyone else felt sorry for him to some degree. Near everyone who knew the Beastman was a fighter in some shape or form, none of them would want to be in the state he was. And everyone would probably be coping the same way he had been, poorly. Sighing softly Yumi smiled up at Viral, placing her hand on his paw and giving it a small patting before continuing towards the mess hall. "No one views you asking for help or sharing your problems as weak, Viral. And it would help you heal much faster if you told just what was on your mind, I'm sure."

"Eh... If we go back to war then we go back, but I'm not holding my breath," Takeshi mumbled, folding his hands behind his head, "The way I see it our old man is busy with whatever is attacking both sides, so it's not like he's hurting anyone. And who knows, maybe the rebels can finish it without us. I'd love to get some payback for what that creep did to Shu and Viral, and Yumi too... But it'll be dangerous, you know? The more we can keep our friends out of danger the better. Hell, that's kind of how Shu and I ended up in this mess in the first place." What an idiotic move that had been, chasing after Viral on their own. It still bothered him that he'd done it, because the whole testing and capture thing might never have happened. They could have gone as a group to save Viral, probably rescued him and none of this would be happening now. In short Takeshi still felt responsible for what had gone on, but was powerless in his mind to change or fix anything. Be it Shu and his problems or Viral and his issues none of it could be helped. Getting slightly bummed he closed his eyes, a small frown on his lips as he leaned back completely on the wall. "If there's a will then there's a way. If we can't eat them then fine, we won't. I won't kill what I can't eat, as long as it's not a jerk. Just tell me before I go blasting some endangered species out of extinction, will you? I don't want all of Kaesstra hating me because I went and killed off some creature."

It was nice Shu was showing a bit of enthusiasm as well. Between the two of them they should be able to get T'charrl to come along, he would want to play with his friends right? All this support and whatnot ought to be enough to spur the Kaesstrian into changing back if that's all he was missing. "You'll find it, no reason to get all scared. Look how far you came in the last few days, you're getting closer a heck of a lot faster than we thought you would, so technically you're ahead of schedule. We just got to find what that last piece is, that's all." There had to be something they could do to help things along. Describing his old appearance didn't help T'charrl much, they'd tried that a few times now. Nor did his drawings do anything for it, which left Takeshi pretty well out of ideas. If they couldn't tell or show their friend what he looked like then what else was there? Nodding his head he opened one eye, looking over at T'charrl and smiling slightly. "I could think of something to draw, whatever piece you can't remember about yourself maybe. And your mother won't kill you, but she'll probably get all slappy knowing her, she's kind of scary sometimes." Opening both eyes then Takeshi glanced up at the ceiling, inhaling deeply through his nose before exhaling through his mouth and shifting a bit in his spot. "It'll be fun when you are back to normal, you know? We'll be able to do things like wrestle and play hide and seek, and you won't have to worry about other Kaesstrians getting all spooked. Maybe just think about all the fun things you used to do, and that you'll be able to do with us once you change back? Maybe that'll help you figure out what you're missing."

Viral was well aware of what was happening to him and how it was affecting his mood, but some things like how he was being seen and treated made him slightly irritated. He wanted it to be treated like it was nothing, that he was going to be cured rather than focus on the possibility that he really was going to fade away, otherwise maybe he wouldn’t think about it so much. He knew what was happening to him and this was just the start of it all, it had been happening for a while too and he recognised when he had malfunctions in the past now. He knew it was getting worse quickly because he was stuck between forms like this and unable to shift into one without the others remaining. In the end he didn’t want to be reminded that he was dying and generally didn’t want to have to try and express himself emotionally when he really wasn’t feeling anything beyond what they already suspected. “Holding back isn’t weakness. I don’t want to have to feel weak by expressing myself so often”, he spoke quickly, finding it to be quite the opposite of what he wanted to do with himself, “You know I am in pain and know I have been driven insane because of the Saiyans! I don’t have anything else to express beyond what you already know. If anything goes wrong, you’ll see. Okay?” The only time he’d be expressing himself was if he was truly dying, but otherwise she was going to have to do without him expressing anything. He didn’t know if she had been told something he hadn’t if this was the case, wondering if she was trying to hint that he was clearly getting worse and should start expressing himself before it was too late. Feeling confused he looked away, trying to think through the possible blackouts he might be having without his knowledge right up until Yumi decided to take his paw, his eyes going to it immediately as she petted it. “What? Not heard of that one before…you’re really determined to get me to talk, aren’t you?” he questioned her before sighing, looking away, “If you’re desperate to hear what’s on my mind, I’m concerned with when my next attack might be and whether I’ll collapse again or try to kill someone. I still wonder how you can trust me with medicine nevermind these things!”

T’charrl didn’t know much about the war still, feeling like a foreigner in it all and even wondering how his people might get involved. If they were recruited to fight they probably wouldn’t have much heart in the fight when most of them didn’t know what a Saiyan looked like. It was only one place that had seen a Saiyan before this group came along so it was more stories than anything. They all had their reasons to go after the Saiyans and try to take their King down and he owed them a favour, not to mention he wanted to fight with all this strength and power he harnessed now. “The rebels didn’t really like me when I saw them”, he sighed, scratching his cheek, “They thought I sounded funny…” They definitely didn’t know what to think of him when they spoke to him and he didn’t know either, finding them to be very much an army in themselves. “I don’t know what those words mean, but I’ll probably know what ones you can eat because of books and seeing them for food. If it looks interesting, it’s probably umm…endangered species”.

He had plenty of time to try and find himself, he had been with them for a while now so he didn’t really have an excuse anymore. He needed to find his normal self and that wasn’t going to happen if he was feeling this panicky. It was hard to get over the fact he had managed before, but he was unconscious if he understood correctly. He certainly wondered if he was changing back while he was sleeping, but he didn’t know why such a thing would happen. His friends were trying and they were always there for him, but it didn’t feel like it was enough. “Uhhh, slappy? No, she would hit me hard a lot”, he spoke, not really understanding him, “She might hit you too”. Clenching his claws together he was definitely feeling the pressure, especially as he was constantly stared at as they waited for that moment. They were giving him support, but he didn’t want to disappoint them when they could had been doing something completely different. Looking to his claws he soon tried to loosen them, giving them a quick shake before looking back to Takeshi. “I don’t want to scare anybody…yeah. All of the fun things…uhh, I don’t know many fun things. Play with you guys will be fun if you know what to do. I just-…I don’t know, it’s like a pressure in my chest. I’m scared, maybe…but I don’t know why. If what you said is true, I’m going to be happy when I get to change back, but if I can’t control myself properly in my normal form too then Mother will be angry. I don’t even have control when I’m fighting, so it’s kind of worrying incase I change in front of everyone”.

"Alright, alright. I just don't want you feeling like it's bad to express yourself. We're more worried about you being silent than we are about what you might say to us." The effort to get Viral to open up wasn't just to try and make him uncomfortable, in fact that wasn't it at all. In part the difficulty of helping the Beastman was that he simply did not share anything on his mind, not usually. Because of that Yumi wasn't too sure what she should be saying or trying to talk her friend through, and likewise Vegeta wasn't wholly clear what he ought to be working towards. Giving Viral's paw a gentle patting she offered one last reassurance before continuing on towards the kitchen. Behind her she heard her friend speak up, glancing over her shoulder at him curiously. "If it's any condolences... I can stop your attacks, remember? Plus I'm at your side, if you collapse you'll be taken care of, no need to worry about that. And I want to trust you with the medicine because I want you to feel like you've got some control in your life again. Isn't that one of your big complaints, not being in charge of yourself?" Plus, is showed they had confidence in Viral being able to take care of himself, to a point. He still wasn't going to be left to his own devices just yet and checkups would remain regular for a while yet, but self-medication was a tiny step forward. Smiling sweetly at Viral she held up one finger, continuing, "Plus, you know better than anyone when you need the medicine, so it makes sense for you to handle when you take the pills. I'm going to be here just as a safety measure and all, but it's going to be up to you. Vegeta won't like it if he finds out, but I'm hoping this way you'll be able to calm down a little bit. That will be our little secret, got it?"

"Eh... Well we didn't much like the rebels either. Hell, some of us still don't like the rebels," Takeshi said, smiling as he shrugged, "Viral hates them, I don't really think Vegeta is a fan of anyone there except Sayomi maybe, and I know Kabocha and the twins are still mixed. Haku probably hates them too, but then again he hates everyone it seems. It's kind of just us and Yumi who don't mind them. My point is don't worry about whether they like you or not, because for the most part none of them matter, you know? They're there to fight, and after that it's bye-bye rebels. We'll try staying in touch with a few, sure, but most of them I can't even remember their names honestly." You couldn't please everyone, Takeshi had learned that plenty early on. If people were going to taunt T'charrl for his voice and make fun of him for how he looked then they weren't worth keeping around anyways. Letting a yawn go the Saiyan got up onto his feet, scratching at his head as he leaned over and scooped up his dirty shirt. "You know I'm kidding about eating everything, right...? I'm sure some of them look really yummy and all but I don't go biting something I don't know what it is. That's how you get sick." If this were Earth they were talking about then he'd have a fair good idea about what was and wasn't edible. Shu would probably know even more, being a bit of a wild boy himself.

So then, about getting T'charrl back to his old self, how were they going to get that done? Everything they could think of was pretty much a bust, and the Kaesstrian hadn't any ideas either. Drawing wasn't going to cut it, obviously, which left little way for them to actually show their friend how he had looked. Maybe there was some way to do it that they hadn't even considered yet, it would make sense. Maybe some sort of meditation would help T'charrl remember, or maybe he needed something from Kaesstra itself to jog his memory. Of course that meant showing up back at home while he was still like this, and that was what they were trying to avoid doing. The Queen would be all sorts of mad with them if they didn't hold up their end of the bargain, and Takeshi had no desire to be on the receiving end of her anger again. Cringing faintly at the idea the Saiyan smiled sheepishly, laying his shirt over his shoulder. "What are you scared of...? You'll be able to control yourself, I mean why wouldn't you? You've been in control when you had way more power than before, so I don't see how you'd lose control with less, you know? Besides, you've got all of us behind you and we'll help whenever you need it." Grinning he walked over to his friend, placing a hand carefully on his upper back despite his usual repulsion. "You've got nothing to worry about bud, we promise that. Shu and I will make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible," Takeshi added, glancing to his brother and giving a thumbs up, "Right buddy?"

Viral was probably the last person to be trusted with something like medicine, especially with his impatience. He didn’t want to overdose and end up dead early, after all. He knew he could be reckless when he wasn’t thinking straight and that was a prime example of a problem when he could just think about it and he was suddenly suicidal. It would be dishonourable to go out like that, but he was definitely aware that he wasn’t in the right state of mind a lot of the time. He hated himself for that, his lack of control really being obnoxious during this time in his life whether it be close to the end of it or the beginning of a new one. He wasn’t feeling terribly clear as to why Yumi was taking his paw like this, but he wasn’t going to yank it away just because he was feeling moody and sore. “I can’t say leaving me with the medicine is me being in charge of my life when it’s the very thing that sends my life out of control”, he mumbled, giving his head a rub, “Whether you can stop my attacks again is something yet to be seen. Who says you can do it again? The collapsing is a whole different thing since the times it’s happened I’ve generally lost a lot of blood. Who says you won’t be frightened over that and panic? You certainly seemed to panic because my head was bleeding…”

T’charrl didn’t know what to think of the rebels, especially when he was receiving mixed views from both sides. They didn’t appear to like him all that much with one being strangely fascinated by him, but then again she was probably noticing the fact that he was an alien from a planet that had never seen space travel before. It was a valid excuse, but the others seemed pretty mixed to him. “I know I shouldn’t care, but still…I did try to be good for my people”. He did try to please, it was in his nature as a Prince to please the others and get people to like him even if that was a response so that he could live longer without enemies. Giving Takeshi a little nervous smile on the comment about food he did think he was being serious for a moment, but thankfully he did have some sense in him.

There was definitely the problem of changing back that was still at hand, though, which was definitely making him realise how little control he had over himself. He would make his friends so happy if he could just do it but even trying to use his energy didn’t seem to be working. Sighing as he placed his claws together as he tried to get back to finding himself again, feeling pretty tense. “I’ve not been in a lot of control, actually…I mean, I change a lot when I really shouldn’t and can’t change back into what I was before. I may be able to sit here and use my power, but I’ve always had this power so it’s nothing new”. He didn’t really know why he was scared, but it was definitely something that made him unable to change. Frowning, T’charrl lowered his head a little, trying to think before gasping as Takeshi touched his back, thinking he would had been freaked out when touching him. Feeling confused he looked up at him, tilting his head a little before looking to Shu. He didn’t have to guess his answer, he knew Shu would agree to anything positive.

Shu was fairly happy and excitable, knowing he was going to have a fun time with his friend as soon as he got moving with them on the planet’s surface. Nodding quickly he soon bounced towards T’charrl, smiling happily, “Yu huh! No worry, everything okay, yes? Even if thing go wrong, there’s no worry, right? Even if no change back for all time, you will get better at it, right?” he nodded, looking to Takeshi, “And Takeshi will help too, right? It’s not something to try and get through quickly, huh?”

Yumi was sure being able to medicate himself would make Viral happy, and yet he was still as gloomy as ever. This was hard, she hadn't any idea what she could do to make him feel better. Words were hollow, any promises might as well be empty and any distraction she tried fail to grab his attention. If she stopped though then that was the same as giving up on Viral and she refused to do that. So long as he needed help she was going to keep trying, even if she ran out of ideas. "Remember, I'm here to make sure the medicine doesn't do that," she reminded, wagging her finger a bit, "I'm letting you handle when you take it because you can tell better than I can when you need it, but that doesn't mean I won't sit back and watch you take one after another. We'll figure out the best way to sort out your doses to keep your mood at least a bit better, enough that you don't feel bummed out. The only way we'll know whether I can stop you or not is if it happens again, and the point of medicine and my being here is to see that it doesn't." Right, she had panicked when she saw Viral's head bleeding, but not for the reasons he might think. The smell of blood, something that never really did anything to Yumi had her feeling awfully weird. It almost made her hungry, which left her both confused and disgusted. Since when did blood equate to food for her? When she'd smelled the blood the first thing that she wanted to do was find a nice steak or something and sink her teeth into it, be it raw or cooked. So did she have some kind of bloodlust now? That didn't make much sense seeing as they ate earlier and she had no problems, so why was she randomly feeling it there? Looking back at Viral she forced a smile, her eyes closed as she waved a hand dismissively, "I was just worried about you bleeding, that's all. Losing blood isn't exactly a good thing, even in small amounts!"

Takeshi really didn't know why they were discussing the rebels, he didn't particularly care for them right now. It wasn't that he hated them really, he thought of quite a few of them as friends, but at the moment they weren't important. They had their thing going on and the rebels had theirs, they shouldn't be worrying about those guys at the moment. Their concerns were here on the ship, with their own group and trying to get everyone back into fighting shape. Viral was being taken care of by Vegeta and Yumi so he ought to be fine, that left T'charrl and Shu to him then. Hmph, sure, no sweat. Let the Saiyan who barely could handle himself take care of two other people, no problems there. "Well... Things will work themselves out, we just need to figure out what is missing, that's all. Don't go getting all nervous, it's going to work out just fine." Was being made to try and change back really freaking out T'charrl so much? He figured that the Kaesstrian would be eager to get back to his old self, that was why they were sort of pushing it. Maybe that was the reason T'charrl was stressing though, it could be a ton of pressure. Jeez, so in trying to fix this they were actually making it worse then, what a headache. Smiling slightly Takeshi went over and gave his friend's back a small patting, trying to assure him things would be okay. "Things will work out, Shu and I are going to make sure of that, right buddy?"

Shu of course agreed without hesitation, always the one to be on board with stuff like this. Smiling approvingly Takeshi took his hand from T'charrl, using the moment the others were distracted to discretely wipe it on the back of his pants. He was getting a bit better at touching T'charrl and all, but it was still a long way from being totally relaxed about it. Baby steps, he'd get there, maybe. "If things go wrong then we'll fix that too! We'll keep fixing things until everything is all better," the older boy agreed, nodding his head as he looked at his brother. Huh, the little guy was actually making a good bit of sense with what he was saying, maybe it would do their friend some good. Looking back at T'charrl he put a hand on his hip, giving a thumbs up with the other. "Like Shu said, it's not a race to get better. We'll take as much time as we need if that's what will help, no sweat. In fact how about we go ahead and take a break for a while? And I don't mean sitting around like we have been, let's do something else." What could they do on the ship, he wondered. Their usual business of playing tag, or hide-and-seek, or going for a walk didn't quite work as well when confined to a ship. Maybe they could go down to one of the rec rooms and find a ball, just play with that or something. "Let's go find something to do, a game or whatever, you know? We'll get to helping you later, whenever you're feeling up for it again, how's that?"

Viral was certainly wondering why she was so hasty to baby him all the time like this, his head not exactly feeling horribly sore and definitely not sore enough to have him needing bandages. He didn’t like being treated like a kid or some sickly creature, he was strong enough to not end up collapsed on the floor because of a few wounds. He just wanted to take his medicine and leave the thought behind at this point, knowing it would probably mellow out his mind and allow him to think without his thoughts resorting to complete depression. It may had been annoying for them but for him it was pretty painful. He barely remembered what a clear thought was like and it was even more disturbing that he became zombie-like and responsive to everything when his mind was cleared of those thoughts. Yumi was probably getting depressed just from speaking to him all this time, making him wonder whether he should encourage some alone time for her. He didn’t care about his own health at this point and she should care for hers more when she was going to survive better than he might. “If I was to take medicine when I felt I needed it I would probably lose track of time over anything…” he sighed, rubbing his head, “I don’t know why there’s such a need to worry about me. I am not going to start worrying about myself any time soon, especially over a little bit of blood. If you are ever going to force me into a room like that over a little bit of blood again, at least give me a chance to resist your crazy plans and we can both risk embarrassment. What if someone was out there?? Imagine if your ‘boyfriend’ was out there…”

Shu was certainly enthusiastic over the situation. T’charrl thought he was just being polite about the situation, but it seemed he wasn’t going to ever know when the kid was excited about everything anyway. He did want to be excited over getting to play, but he definitely felt too stressed out to feel happy about that stuff. If he could change soon then that would be great, but there was very little excitement in regards to that task. He didn’t know what it involved and was only guessing it had something to do with his energy, but what direction it had to go in he didn’t know. Staring at Shu he sighed, his eyes going up to Takeshi soon after. “You can keep trying, but we’ll see what happens”, he nodded, looking away again, “It is there somewhere if I did it before…” Feeling a little more hopeful with his friend’s reassurances he looked back to Takeshi as he encouraged a break, but the plans for that break were rather unclear, “Huh? Something else?” he questioned him, slowly standing up, “A…game? You should show me, but uhh…let’s not train. I think that’s what caused me to change again. I didn’t mean to take that energy, really! Maybe that’s my problem: I can’t control my energy as much as I want to be able to”.

"To be fair, you did say you weren't sure of time earlier, so it's not much different then if you take your medicine. And is losing track of time really a bad trade off for having peace of mind for a while?" Yumi wasn't enthusiastic about Viral using medicine but that mellowed out state it provided had to be better than this. Who knows, she might even be able to get some information out of the Beastman he wouldn't otherwise share, something that could help her handle him. She almost wanted to push him to take his pills on that alone but decided against it ultimately, it should be up to Viral and him alone when he needed them. Folding her hands behind her back she smiled at her friend, giving a small shrug of her shoulders. "I worry because I'm your friend, and we're like family. You can tell me not to worry all you want and I'll still worry, it doesn't work like that," she explained, giggling slightly. Having Choi brought into the matter made Yumi's face redden slightly, her face puffing as she whiffed her head around and gave a soft 'hmph'. "Choi wouldn't do anything, don't worry. He's too mild mannered really to act up like that, usually. Besides..." Yumi smiled sheepishly as she freed up one hand, scratching at her ear, "We're sort of taking a break from one another. I want to help you and he misses being with Kai, so we've agreed to a little space. I guess at the moment he's not technically anything but a friend to me, and we're both fine with that. So, mister grumpy, that means all of my time can be devoted to helping you!"

Between himself and Shu there was more than enough enthusiasm to help T'charrl out. The two of them more or less had all the free time in the world, and if both of them spent that at their friend's side then he'd have all the support he'd need. At the moment that support was looking like it would be more a distraction, trying to find a way to help the Kaesstrian relax a little. Apparently getting all stressed out really screwed up the whole process for the guy, he needed some peace of mind to get anywhere. What better way to relax than to go have some honest to goodness fun? Suggesting a game for them to play Takeshi stepped back as T'charrl got up, smiling up at his friend. "Yeah, not training, that sounds like a good idea. We won't be spending any energy playing around." He hadn't a clue what they would even do for play yet, aside from maybe tossing a ball around. It didn't much matter, he supposed, the whole point was to just do something to get T'charrl relaxed and in a better mood. "What do you think, Shu? You're the master of having fun and goofing off, what game should we play?"

“”You’ve got to ask the question as to whether they are to be taken after four hours but I take more after two. That is where awareness becomes a complicated business”, Viral spoke back quickly, pointing at her before he looked to the medicine, “Stupid argument…hmph, I’m a warrior! I don’t need to have thoughts like this…” It was all so complicated, especially when he wanted independence but knew he had to be careful with one thing, giving him the need to ask about someone else taking responsibility over them. If Yumi believed in him so much then that was fine, she could continue to do so, but that didn’t mean he was going to make the right decision in the end. He didn’t think he needed the worry that was directed at him either, his assumption that the time for worrying was long gone and all he needed was just some minor direction instead. They didn’t need to care about whether he was in pain or having difficulties, at least not enough to start changing their lives to suit his needs. “A break because of this? The hell?? Who thought such a concept was a good idea??” he questioned her, not understanding it much at all, “When you’re together, you stay together! Not split up for the convenience of someone else! You can do other things than be together all the time, you know! I don’t get your kind…all of this freedom to have these things and you make up stuff like this…”

Shu was pretty excited about going for a playtime with his friend and brother, especially when he didn’t get to do that other than wrestling with T’charrl and going away elsewhere without him with his brother. It was nice to have them both together doing something rather than splitting up because Takeshi didn’t like the way T’charrl’s fur felt, even if he thought the smoothness and thickness of it to be quite nice to snuggle into. Bouncing up to his feet he jumped around, getting all excited after being energised by all the fruit he’d consumed. “Ooh! Ooh! Fun times! I love fun times!” he squeaked before realising Takeshi was asking him something, turning his attention immediately to him and giving a smile, “We should play with stuff! Play with toys! Where’s toys? I don’t know. We should have toys! Bouncy stuff! I wanna play with the bouncy stuff and with my friend! Where do others go to play? Do they play too? I don’t see them play…”

Okay, so maybe they weren't going to leave medication wholly up to Viral. It was a little flawed, Yumi would admit, expecting someone with no sense of time to moderate their dosages. Perhaps instead she'd keep the medicine on hand and administer it to her friend only if a certain period had passed, maybe that was the safer way to do it. Ah... But she'd already handed it over to Viral earlier, would that seem two-faced of her? She worried that in taking the pills back it might appear as her doubting her friend, and that would only serve to upset him further. This was a fine line, trying to accommodate him while also trying to keep an eye on him at the same time. "You keep saying you're a warrior as if that's all you are, but it's not. You're intelligent, you have other skills, and you're family to many. A warrior is part of who you are but it doesn't define you, not alone anyways." There was nothing wrong in taking pride in oneself, Viral used to have plenty. It had been shaken with his troubles however and now they had to try and rebuild it again. If that meant Yumi had to give up some free time in order to help her friend then fine, she'd do it. Apparently however Viral was not wholly onboard with that notion. "It's not like we broke up or anything Viral, we're just doing something else for now," she began, her face puffing up a bit from being flustered as she stopped and turned to face him. "If people really care about one another then separation does nothing to ruin that relationship. If I didn't see you for another few months I'd still think of you the same way, I'd still care about you, time apart or not." Huffing softly Yumi glanced up at the Beastman, a smile spreading across her lips as she reached up and poked him in the forehead teasingly. "Freedom means we can be free to make mistakes too. Maybe this was a bad idea, who knows? Right now I don't care though, my only concern is keeping you company."

It was set in stone, they were going to go play a bit to get their mind off of things. Again, whatever it took to help T'charrl figure himself out. Playing around was hardly considered work and to someone like Shu it came as easily as breathing so it wasn't as if this was inconvenient or anything. Takeshi smiled at his brother's enthusiasm, heading to the door with his shirt slung over his shoulder again. "There's probably loads of stuff we can use in the recreation room, so we'll start there. And if we can't find any toys there then we'll make our own games up," the older boy said, pressing the panel and opening up the door. Hm, Shu had a fair question, what did the others do for play? They more or less just saw the rest of their group now for meals and the occasional training, otherwise people were pretty much off on their own as of late. Pausing at the door Takeshi cocked his head slightly, rubbing at his chin in thought. "You know... I don't know what they do for fun," he mumbled, smiling and placing his hand on his hip, "So how about we go find them, yeah? We'll see if they want to join us, we can get a whole lot of people for our games. The more the merrier, right?" Being cooped up like rats was probably driving everyone a bit nuts at this point, everyone would benefit from goofing around a little. Maybe they would even stop by and grab Vegeta, however willing or not he may come along. Everyone needed a break now and again, it was all they could do not to go insane. "Come on guys, let's get the others to join us."
"Wow... Kaesstra is even more beautiful than I remember!" It really did look like a paradise from up above, and on the ground. All of the colors, the forests which were visible even from up in the atmosphere, it was all breathtaking. Now that they knew they were going down on peaceful terms too it added a certain air of excitement. Everyone had noticed the planet's beauty initially, but having been caught up in the civil war there hadn't been time to appreciate it. Now that they were returning it was a whole new experience, they could enjoy the world for what it was really worth. Yumi wondered if T'charrl felt like this when they had gone to Earth, if he thought their planet was beautiful too. In it's own right their home world was, some portions of it were even as densely vegetated as the forests on Kaesstra. Even the city had a certain beauty if you looked at it the right way, even with the lack of colors. Smiling rather excitably she turned to Viral at her side, reaching up and grabbing hold of his sleeve to direct his attention down to a lake. "Look there, we should try finding that when we land. I bet there's some interesting fish in those waters we could try. Plus all sorts of animals must gather around it to hunt and drink." Yes, she was still on about hunting together, even more so now that they were close to landing. Viral had liked the idea initially and now she was going to hold him to it, whether he wanted to or not.

Haku had been to his fair share of planets before, sure. He'd been to deserts, icy tundras, jungles, everything. But Kaesstra was still something else to look at, he'd never been to a world so green before. Except it wasn't just green but a sea of colors, it looked kind of like the forests were on fire. Orange, red, green, blues even, there were literal seas of color below them, it was amazing. Normally he would be quiet and keep to himself but now he found himself standing on the bridge with everyone else, staring through the large glass windows in awe. They had been to this world before, hadn't they? It was where T'charrl came from if he remembered right. A whole world of aliens like him, he wasn't sure how he felt about that. There was no particular fear or unease towards the Kaesstrian aside from the fact he could be a bit scary when he changed. The fact his condition was apparently unique was the sole saving grace of this, otherwise Haku may well not leave the ship. As they descended ever lower and came closer to the ground he began to see the massive pillars as well, watching intently as one of them jettisoned a blast of energy up into the atmosphere. The energy exploded after reaching a certain point, the shards or whatever that had been inside of it reflecting the suns rays coming down and glistening in the air. It was really amazing to watch, he couldn't wait to see what the rest of the world looked like.

Not everyone was so thrilled with the environment, in fact Kabocha found himself not particularly caring. Sure, it was pretty and all but he was never one to bother with that sort of thing. Used to be they blew everything up, pretty or not, which now that obviously wasn't the case. Having done that however he didn't quite have the eye for it, he just saw trees everywhere. What he was more excited to see, however, was this city which T'charrl had come from. The nobility down there had an amazing castle, and judging by the stories head heard from the others it was like nothing else. He was much more interested then in seeing how the upper echelon lived, and in turn maybe getting an idea for how things worked in their society. Where did they fit in, he wondered? They were technically heroes so that had to mean something, whether or not it gave them some sort of title. His parents had sort of been on about that too despite not doing anything themselves, they were still concerned with status. He just wanted to know, that was all... Though he wouldn't be against being given some official title if the Kaesstrians felt so inclined. How many Saiyans could say they were an ambassador to an alien race, or something like that? Not very many he'd assume, at least not ones who were willingly given that title.

"Wow... I know we've done this before and all... But I'm really excited, you know?" Takeshi asked, beaming as he stared down at the planet below. "This is going to be awesome, Shu. We'll get to go check out all kinds of things we didn't get to before. And think of the food we can try too! There was a lot of yummy looking stuff down there we never had, I want to give it all a shot, don't you?" Maybe he could even get a bit of insight into sword training while there as well. If T'charrl's father was available then he'd ask the guy for some guidance, and if not he was sure he could find someone else for help. Glancing over at his friend he smirked, reaching over and giving his arm a light punch. "Don't forget, you're coming and playing with us, right? If you don't have any places in mind above ground then we'll find some, shouldn't be too hard." They had a massive world to use as a playground basically, it was guaranteed they would find something of interest. Anything was on the table really so long as they excluded water games seeing as T'charrl wasn't exactly a fan. With a grin Takeshi laced his hands behind his head, giving a small chuckle as he did so. "Man... I wonder how things are down there. I'm sure it's loads better than when we left, we've been gone a while, you know?"

Vegeta was rather excited about landing, for more reason than one. It meant giving Viral access to some potent solar energy which, in theory ought to speed up his recovery. It also game them a more suitable environment in which to help T'charrl too, something else they needed to get done. He was curious too about the progress Katas might have made, having left the Kaesstrian with blueprints on a relay system as well as basics for ship construction. The prospect of seeing a civilization advance technologically was enthralling, even more when he considered that it was in part due to his actions. Who knows, they may even have some unique, inventive technology for him to examine too, he really did want to see about that. Glancing at the crew and nodding for the go ahead to descend he walked up behind everyone gathered at the glass, folding his hands behind his back. "When we land please don't go all running off. We are coming here for reasons besides play," Vegeta reminded everyone, smiling slightly, "That being said... As soon as we've gone over what we need to feel free to do whatever you please. I've got scouters for us to stay in touch but otherwise I see no reason we've got to stay as a group this time."

Coming closer to Kaesstra proved to be a fairly worrying sight for Viral, especially when there was so much he had to focus on while he was down there. They were going there for his sake, even with the alien on the ship probably wanting to see his parents too. The whole point on him coming here was because he was damaged and their hope to repair him was all down to this. He needed to get better if everybody else was going to be happy, but he really didn’t know how he was supposed to do that. He was in trouble if he didn’t know how to alter his form and begin the repairing process without all these additions. It would definitely be a massive hassle for all of them as well, having to wait around to see if he was going to get any better while they were all probably itching to fight. If he ended up getting worse then who knows what they’d do. Staring at the outside he soon sighed, his eyes going to his arm before to Yumi, frowning. “You are already planning this before permission is given”, he spoke, looking back out to the great wilds, “We will find it. You should prepare yourself properly incase the worst happens. I don’t dare let that happen”.

Kai and Choi were a fairly mixed bag when it came to excitement over this landing, mainly because it was more of a relief to finally get back on solid ground. It would be a relief to get out of this large yet enclosed ship, but there was also the question to what they should do with their freedom. It was probably the first time they would be allowed to roam without supervision or tracking, especially when their time on Earth didn’t count. They were still with their Father during that time so stayed with him while they could roam now without him. As Choi looked over to Kabocha as he could only look fed up, grinning a little before leaning towards him. “Hey! Wanna come exploring with us? We could totally check out the city and get some food, see if there’s any bad guys to beat down…” he spoke quickly, briefly pointing out, “It’ll be fun! Kai and I wanna check out the sights that this place is apparently famous for”.

Shu was probably more excited than T’charrl when it came to returning to his friend’s home planet, especially considering there was a lot of fruit to be had down there. Even if Takeshi didn’t like that much fruit it wasn’t going to stop him from trying to eat as much as he could. T’charrl was a slightly different case: he hadn’t been able to change back and was all worried about it, but he seemed in wonder upon seeing the planet’s surface from such a height. He didn’t know what he was thinking about but he seemed entranced by the pretty colours and all the strange types of trees and terrain, but maybe that was a good thing. Looking to Takeshi he bounced a little, smiling happily at him. “Yeah! Yummy food! Please yummy food!” he squeaked, feeling all sorts of excited, “I want to see all kinds of places!”

T’charrl was a little bit of a mixed bag, especially when he didn’t know that was their destination until not too soon when the planet was in sights. He hadn’t been able to change back so his worry was pretty high, but upon looking at his planet and the energy it expelled he felt a strange warmth inside that he hadn’t in a while. He couldn’t explain the feeling but it was very nice, his anticipation to get down there pretty high. Looking to Takeshi he gave a little smile when he was punched, still feeling nervous about this. “I-I know. I haven’t forgotten”, he nodded, giving his arm a light rub, “I don’t know what it will be like, I mean…there could be bad people still around wanting to fight back. My race are warriors at heart and will fight for anything they think is right”. Hearing Vegeta from behind he slowly turned around, staring at him as he gave a few orders, his eyes going back to the window for a moment before sighing. He could use the scouter to talk in his own language again, making things a lot easier for his people and allowing him to speak without too much thought or flaws, but even then that didn’t make him content. He was going to have to see his parents eventually, but he wasn’t normal yet. Maybe if he was given a little more time things would be okay, so long as he could find that time before everything caved in on him.

Yumi was having a hard time concealing her excitement, near bounding out of her skin at this point. She and Viral were going to get to go hunt, have an escape from the things that were bothering him and maybe even have fun in the process. Being so detached from the things that ailed him ought to let the Beastman relax, even if just a little. If she could keep the conversation completely off of his condition or his testing then things should go just fine. Making sure Viral was well aware of her excitement she giggled faintly, giving a nod of her head before folding her hands behind her back. "Of course! I'm not going to wait for Vegeta to decide, I think I'm just as qualified to make a decision, don't you?" She might not have near as much education as their friend did, nor the medical know-how. What Yumi did have though was the ability to help Viral relax, more than that medicine of his could. Granted she still hadn't a clue about what made her do it, or how even, but she knew she had it. "I know you're not going to let it happen, and I won't let it happen either. Otherwise I wouldn't be doing this in the first place," she replied, smiling as she leaned over and bumped up against Viral playfully, "I'm just excited to learn from you again, that's all."

Kabocha didn't really know what he was going to do down on Kaesstra, aside from poke around a bit. Not spend the time with his parents, he knew that much already. His father would be busy sampling foods or something and his mother probably wanted to try fighting some of the soldiers, typical fashion for both of them. Sighing softly under his breath he turned his head when Choi leaned over to him, leaning away as he got rather close. "Exploring...? Bad guys? What do you think we are, superheroes or something...?" he asked, frowning before shaking his head. The promise of getting to knock some heads was a bit enticing though, a bit hypocritical since he'd been scrutinizing his mother just for that sort of thing. After a brief moment's thought Kabocha changed his mind, smiling and nodding his head in agreement. "Alright, I'll come with you guys. But we're not playing superhero and trying to solve crime or anything!" he warned, holding a finger in Choi's face, "We'll look around and grab some food, that's it. We're just tourists this time, not here to fight for anyone."

Everyone might be excited but Shu was the only one literally bouncing with energy. Heh... And Takeshi was the one who had to keep up with him, wonderful. Even as much stamina as he might have it was sometimes impossible to keep pace with the little guy, he basically never ran out. Maybe he was like a sunflower secretly and could pull energy from the sun, sort of like Viral. Or he was just naturally hyper, that could be it too. In far too good a mood himself to tell Shu to relax he instead laughed at his brother's enthusiasm, putting a hand on his head and ruffling his hair teasingly. "We'll get all the food you want before we go explore, how's that sound? There's loads of shops if I remember right so it'll be easy to find a ton of tasty stuff. Plus we'll find fruit out in the forests, you know? Free food!" The best kind of food too! Takeshi had been given the rather inconvenient reminder that they were going onto a world where they had absolutely no money to spend. Sure, T'charrl could probably dig into his family's fortune to pay for lunch but that seemed a bit rude to expect. Making doubly sure the Kaesstrian knew he was still joining them, the Saiyan turned when Vegeta gave a brief address to everyone, rolling his eyes dramatically. The guy was like a mother hen sometimes, trying to keep them all in check and whatever. Smiling up at T'charrl again he gave a thumbs up, noticing how his friend seemed a bit down all of a sudden. "Hey, we're going down there to have fun, don't forget! We've got loads of games and stuff to look forward to."

There was a slight problem with their visiting Kaesstra this time. It wasn't that they were coming back on bad terms, or even that they should be doing something else right now, there was no reason they shouldn't be here. It was more landing their ship, and the slight fact that their current vessel was several times larger than their old one. Landing in the same spot as before wasn't going to cut it, they had to move away from that. A fairly far away from their original landing, to a field maybe a kilometer away. Shame too since there looked to be a fair bit of wildlife in the fields, all of which went bounding off as soon as the ship got anywhere near it. By the time the supports of the ship had touched the ground Yumi had already dragged Viral to the doors, holding onto his wrist securely as she waited for the doors to open up. Yes, she was excited to be on ground again, very excited. Plus keeping Vegeta's advice in mind there was a very good chance this could be just the thing Viral needed, all the more reason to be eager! The suspense of just the door opening up was enough to make her crazy, and not a second after it finished laying itself out did she take the first step down, smiling back at Viral happily. "Let's hurry up and get Vegeta's lecture out of the way, hm? I want to have some fun already."

Takeshi wasn't far behind Yumi and Viral, moving along with Shu and T'charrl as he did, and Haku who apparently had begun following them. He might have told their latest member off if he didn't want to seem like a total ass in front of the others. Plus to be fair they had sort of spent more time with Haku than anyone else, however minimal that had been, so they were kind of his only option. He wasn't going to let this fact bother him, nope. They were here to enjoy themselves, not worry about some little brat following them around. Finding both Yumi and Viral already sat outside the ship he was quick to join them, jumping out of the ship and landing on the calf-height grass with a grin. "Wow, it's awesome to be breathing fresh air again!" Takeshi said, chuckling as he gave the grass a patting before looking around. Much better than being holed up on a ship, no doubt about that. Though he wasn't normally one to be bubbling with energy right now he found himself just wanting to break off in a run, he didn't care where really. But Vegeta had wanted to talk about a few things so they needed to stay put, probably for some boring lecture.

Viral would have a lot more on his mind if he was able to think properly, but he took his medicine not too long ago so his only worries were hurting Yumi somehow and not feeling too sure to whether he was going to be able to fulfil her wishes of proper hunting. He wasn’t feeling too great, he was never feeling too great but this time he was feeling that slight worry that something will go wrong. He didn’t want Yumi being lead into harm’s way because of him and did hope it would be a simple hunting session, but first he had to worry about what Vegata might want him to do. This whole thing was for him and his condition and if he had to do some tests first then he would do them, but Yumi might be a bit disappointed. “Hmmm your decisions are a bit…well, a bit of a mixed bag sometimes, but whatever”, he spoke, waving his paw a little. If he was going to end up screwing up at all it should hopefully he limited to his hunting skills, knowing the medicine probably wouldn’t give him the operable focus he needed all the time. Grumbling when she bumped into him he frowned a little before letting out a sigh. “You’re excited to do anything with me. So long as it’s me, you’re excited. You need a hobby if that’s what you get excited over, you know…”

Choi shrugged a little when Kabocha spoke, grinning a little. He didn’t think quite like a superhero, but if it wasn’t true that they weren’t one of the most powerful beings on this planet then he’d eat his shoes. “C’mon, have a little fun! You used to love beating idiots up, anyway!” It was a little silly to not use their powers for something like that, but if Kabocha didn’t like being seen as a superhero then whatever, he could imagine he was one instead. It would be pretty cool being seen as a hero by others, at least in his eyes. “Not to fight anyone? Fiiiine, food is fine too…so long as we get money, or something! What do these bugs use for money, anyway? Pollen?”

“They use a precious metal much like other planets, Choi…” Kai sighed, his arms folded, “I don’t mind beating up a few heads if there’s trouble nearby, but otherwise going for a look around and getting some food would be nicer than fighting all the time. We don’t often get a break, after all”. Going out and trying the food did sound like an alright time for him, maybe he’ll even be able to pick up a few plants that produce ingredients and take them away on the ship. He wouldn’t mind relaxing otherwise, get a chance to explore this alien civilisation and maybe see that giant tree again and how the people are handling it.

As soon as the doors opened up Shu was busy bouncing around excitedly before dashing out when he was allowed to, jumping around happily. He didn’t realise how much he missed the feeling of soft grass until he had to spend a long time on that ship, the natural light definitely feeling welcoming. He was certainly a lot more excited than Takeshi was who only really did a jump out while he was running around in circles before back to Takeshi. It was so nice to finally be out and about, but first they had to listen to what Vegeta was going to tell them before they could go. “Ooh! I love air! I love the ground”, he sang, feeling fairly chuffed to get his freedom back, “Don’t like the flatness on my feet all the time…”

T’charrl was certainly nervous, watching as the view gradually came closer to him and soon enough they landed. He certainly wondered what it was going to be like returning to his planet again like this and luckily for him there was nobody around to see him. Taking in a deep breath to try and calm down he watched as the door slowly opened, his eyes almost blinded by the brightness that was outside. It probably didn’t bother the others quite as much, but having large reflective eyes wasn’t playing in his favour. Wiping down his face quickly he soon watched as Takeshi and Shu made a sudden jump out of the ship, watching as they decided to appreciate being on softer ground above anything. Looking between them curiously his eyes soon went to the others before he gradually decided to follow, fluttering his wings as he made his way to the ground. The moment he touched the ground there was a sudden wave of confidence that flowed through him, the sun immediately feeling good and the air feeling fresh. It was such a strange feeling to feel renewed like this, but there was definitely a lovely feeling coursing through his body. Shaking his fur a little he soon turned to look at the others, opening his mouth as if going to speak but it was Vegeta’s turn first to do so, his desire to interrupt him not being fairly high.

Yumi couldn't stop smiling once they were off the ship, her excitement palpable. Viral wasn't all to thrilled to be going just yet but she had enough energy for both of them, and then some. She couldn't particularly say why either, she hadn't eaten recently and she had a regular nap, so there was no reason to be exceptionally energetic right now. Maybe it was the sun, it was definitely more intense here so it could be that doing it for her. Smiling up at the sky she turned her head, looking at Viral amused. "I have plenty of hobbies. One of them just so happens to be tagging alongside you and forcing you into my wacky schemes," she joked, giggling as she looked away again. "And so what if I am excited to do things with you? I think it's fun, usually, so I look forward to it. Nothing wrong with that is there?"

Kabocha was a bit grumpy at the moment, in part due to being woken up early from his nap. Everyone had been told to get some rest before landing and he'd certainly tried to, but his parents were at it as usual. When he had finally gotten to bed it had only been for an hour before Choi came barging in, waking him up. Narrowing his eyes slightly the Saiyan glanced over at his friend, "Yeah, you're right. And there's one idiot in particular who I'd love to beat up right now," he hissed, taking a swing and a miss at Choi. Spinning slightly on the wet grass Kabocha righted himself, rolling his eyes and smacking his forehead at the other boy's comment. Thankfully Kai was here to be the voice of reason, he didn't quite have the patience for this right now. "If we find some jerks who deserve it then we'll kick their butt, otherwise I actually want to take a load off for a change." They had been in the midst of a war basically for some time now, was it such a crazy thing for him to want a bit of relaxation?

There really was no keeping Shu still once he was outside, he was just an unbridled bundle of energy. It was contagious, if Takeshi wasn't trying to act like the bigger brother he was then he'd be doing the exact same thing as his sibling. Smirking as Shu came over he poked his brother in the forehead playfully, "If you keep running like that you'll have no energy for games later, genius. Try holding still for a minute." That did the trick temporarily as the younger boy kept to his side, probably bouncing around still. Takeshi wasn't sure, he was busy looking over at Vegeta expectantly to hear what the guy had to say to all of them. Probably something lame about having to report in or something like that, something about rules. They were on vacation, they didn't need that kind of stuff!

Hm... Had he even prepared enough scouters for this? Hopefully, otherwise someone was going to have a real hard time talking to the locals. Glancing briefly at the box tucked under his arm Vegeta waited for everyone to stop talking and running about, particularly Shu. "Before everyone goes off to do their own thing I wanted to be sure to hand out scouters. Seeing as T'charrl is the only bilingual one among us we can't quite rely on him to translate. Also, please don't strut around thinking you're some saviors or second-coming here. We don't know the situation still and you could cause problems by acting high-and-mighty, so it's best we play it safe for the time being. So long as those directions aren't too difficult then we will have no problems. Now then..." Vegeta opened up the box, revealing about a dozen smaller, newly refined scouters inside. "I've updated the scouters with new phrases and words from the Kaesstrian language, with any luck they'll help close the language gap a bit more for us. Unfortunately they do not last very long, about a day, so you'll have to bring them back to get recharged, understood?"

Viral wasn’t too happy that Yumi decided to drag him along like this, but of course he was feeling too mellow to care. He wanted to walk by himself and knew he could, but Yumi was pretty set on getting them moving as soon as she could move. Grumbling as he was taken away from his spot again he let out a sigh once he was settled, rubbing his head a little as he looked to Yumi. “They’re more than ‘wacky’…” he mumbled, looking away again, “Some are just damn idiotic and obsessive. You make me wonder if you have problems concentrating on one task, sometimes…” She was probably just happy to be alone with him, but he really didn’t understand the appeal to that. He felt pretty crap most of the time and being around someone like Yumi certainly made him feel guilty that he couldn’t do much with her because of his problems. “Thought you might had gotten bored of it by now. I’m not exactly the most interesting creature you’ve ever met…but shut up for now. I need to know what’s going on…”

Choi grinned at Kabocha but was soon needing to move as he was almost hit by him instead, the failure of the hit only resorting to a chuckle upon knowing he had managed to annoy Kabocha. It wasn’t a particularly hard task, pretty easy really, but it was still pretty amusing. Jumping out of the ship and onto the grass he stretched his arms out, sighing lightly as he turned to Kai. “Fiiiiine. A break it is. I don’t care, anyway! I just want to try out the food here instead of having to be trapped in some house”.

Kai followed the others out pretty calmly, only casually stretching as if he was just waking up. It was nice to be back on solid ground, even if the planet itself was pretty leafy and full of trees. “It’ll be fine, anyway. It’s not like we have a lack of stuff to do before you can go and have a nap, anyway”, he spoke, giving a glance to Vegeta, “We still have to follow a few rules, though. If you decide to head back to the ship early then we’ll just keep travelling, anyway. Nothing’s stopping you from ditching us if you wanted to”.

Shu could barely hold still, feeling way too excited for his own good. If he could just sit still for a moment then he would soon find out what they were supposed to do under Vegeta’s instruction, feeling pretty bouncy. “I will! Just for a minute, yes? I will always have energy for games! I had good sleep earlier!” he squeaked happily, his eyes soon going to Vegeta. He just needed to listen to him for just a moment and he would be free to go along with his friend and Takeshi. Even if the ground was slightly wet he didn’t mind wandering along barefooted like he always did, finding it to be all the more soothing to walk on. From the sounds of it Vegeta was just giving them a curfew to when they had to be back, something he didn’t mind too much when he could easily travel back and just give him it back before snuggling in for the night with Takeshi and maybe T’charrl included. While Takeshi didn’t like the feel of T’charrl, he even remembered Yumi freaking out over how he felt when they first met, it didn’t mean he couldn’t try and get used to it. Nodding quickly he soon bounced around Takeshi, thrilled to feel the grass between his toes again. “Yeah! A day! A Friend T’charrl day or Earth day? We on his planet now, yes yes!”

"Hah, I don't have problems concentrating. There's just so much I want to do with you in such a short amount of time, you could say I'm more in a hurry." Yumi retorted, smirking at Viral, "At least I'm not as spastic as Shu is, right? Can you imagine if I was?" Poor Viral would have a stroke trying to put up with her then, as if she wasn't a handful enough for him already. To be fair the reason she tried keeping him so busy was so he couldn't focus on the negatives in his life long enough to get down. Yeah he wasn't cured yet, and fighting was sort of off limits, but those were bound to change. Until they did she just had to try keeping him preoccupied, that was all. Getting told to shut up prompted her to stick her tongue out childishly, though being mindful of what Vegeta had to say. It sounded perfectly reasonable, his requests, and they would be simple enough to follow. Until they had a good idea of the situation on Kaesstra it was a fair point to keep themselves out of the spotlight, best to avoid unnecessary trouble and all that. Once their friend had finished she walked right on over, smiling at him as she snatched up two scouters and returned to Viral's side. "I doubt we'll need these, unless the animals try speaking to us," Yumi joked, offering over one of the devices as she fixed the other to her ear. "At least this way if we get separated we can stay in touch, it would stink to get lost out here."

Kabocha was all sorts of annoyed with Choi, which wasn't much anything new. After failing to clock the other boy a good one he huffed, sliding his hands into his pockets and looking over at Kai. "Ditch you guys? And do what exactly? The Princes are going to do some stuff with T'charrl, Yumi and Vegeta are going to do who knows what, and Vegeta's taking a tour of the city. Yeah, think I'm sticking with you guys." Not that he minded being with the twins, they were his friends after all. Even if they might agitate one another or pick on each other that fact didn't change. Smirking slightly he stepped closer to Choi again, this time giving his side a slight elbow. "Hey... Too bad there's no girls on this world, huh? Since you and Yumi are taking a break and all we could see some sights. Unless you're into bug-women that is." Eh, that was a horrific idea, trying to date one of these people. They were nice and all for the most part but how were you supposed to date them? Oh jeez, how did you do anything with them? Kabocha's mind went to a pretty nasty place awfully quick, making him shudder before shaking his head. "Uh... Scratch that, bad idea! Let's just do... Whatever you said earlier, that works." Ugh, he was going to need some mental bleach now, or some really strong drinks. These people probably had something, he could forget with a good strong glass. "Choi, grab us some scouters will you?"

"I know you got plenty of energy buddy, but you're making me tired just watching you. Relax for a minute, alright?" Plus they had to hear out Vegeta and whatever his rules were. No one really questioned the fact he was basically ordering them all around, and Takeshi didn't really mind it so much. The guy was trying to make sure they all were safe and things went well, that was all, couldn't get bent out of shape over that. As per usual some ground rules were laid out, nothing out of the ordinary. He did think it was a bit odd they were being told to lay low, seemed a bit silly. Everyone on the planet knew who they were by now probably so it wasn't as if they were strangers. Their ship hadn't been the most discreet thing in the sky either, someone was bound to see that thing coming down. Eh, if it made Vegeta feel better by telling them this then he wasn't going to deny the guy that much. Like Yumi he went right on up once they were done being given directions, taking four scouters for everyone in his little group. Shu yet again was at his side as soon as he got back, bouncing around like the little spaz he was. "Friend T'charrl day, you knucklehead," Takeshi replied, smirking as he handed Shu his scouter before giving both T'charrl and Haku one. It was still a bit weird the other kid was coming with them, but thus far he'd been quiet and hadn't caused any problems, so why not? Fixing his own scouter onto his ear he gave a small nod, looking off in the direction of the forests. "Alright... So where do we want to go first? It's all woods here so I guess it doesn't matter much."

They were... Playing? That was the plan, seriously? Haku didn't know about that, it seemed a bit weird to think they were just playing games. Plus he hadn't a clue what they might do in the woods, or how well he'd do in them. Kortal barely had anything even remotely like these forests and any world that did have them they hadn't exactly spent luxury time on. He was still kind of taken aback by the sheer size of the forests here, it was kind of hard to process. Still staring at all of the trees he barely noticed when Takeshi came over, feeling something pushed into his chest before glancing down at the scouter. Huh, so they had these things too. This looked different though, no visor and it was definitely a bit more comfortable looking. Shrugging his shoulders he slipped it onto his ear, clicking it on before looking at the others. "May as well just wander around, I guess...?" he suggested, not sounding very enthusiastic. Why were they bringing him along to play, seriously? Haku almost figured they were going to try ditching him in the forest, maybe that was why. Hm, but why give him the scouter then? Feeling a bit unsure about all of this he shuffled his feet a bit, folding his arms tightly over his chest as he waited for someone else to come up with something.

Viral sighed heavily, feeling a little fed up already. “Like what…? What else do you have planned for me?” he questioned her, feeling concerned in a number of levels already, “You may say you’re not, but to me you are still all over the place and trying to grab my attention all the damn time…” She certainly seemed clingy despite hardly talking to him before, his curiosity over why she was doing such a thing only managing to sit on the fact that he was hanging around with him only because of his condition. If he didn’t have this happening to him then he would still be by himself with her cuddling up to that Saiyan twin. Not exactly bothered with what Vegeta was saying he watched Yumi go over and grab some scouters, staring at his own when she passed it to him. Frowning a little he soon let out a groan, looking away as he fixed it on his ear. “And there’s you saying you wanted to get using your nose more, or are you too worried about the fact that I don’t exactly smell or have energy you can track…”

The twins looked between each other with Choi ending on a shrug, not exactly caring too much about what the others were going to do. If Kabocha didn’t want to wander around alone then that was okay, not that there was anything wrong with being alone anyway. Feeling pretty settled Choi could only stare at Kabocha as he nudged him, suggesting he’d lucked out when the girls of this planet were all bug creatures like T’charrl was. Frowning he grumbled, making a brief push away. “I’m not going to look for other girls, anyway! The first girl I ever get and you’re suggesting I do that on a simple break?” he asked him before he sighed, shaking his head, “Just because you’ve had loads of girlfriends…” Letting out a huff he turned around, heading over and grabbing a few scouters for them all and handing them out. “Don’t think I did that just because you told me to! I was going to get them, anyway…”

Shu was very happy right now and wasn’t really taking in a whole lot, finding it hard to tell the difference between a day on T’charrl’s planet or a day on their planet. He knew they were different lengths of days, he could feel it when he felt tired while the sun was still up, but he wasn’t going to end up forgetting to head back to Vegeta so long as he was told what to do with the scouters. Giggling when Takeshi handed him a scouter he soon bounced around Takeshi again, getting all hyped still as his interests on playing continued to remain high. “I wanna go anywhere! I wanna swing through the trees! I wanna do things with Friend! You should swing through trees with me! I haven’t been near trees in long time!”

T’charrl was still itching to say what he wanted to say but he figured he should wait until they had all split up properly, just to stop himself from looking like a fool. He didn’t know if it was just a feeling but there was definitely something and it was certainly making him bouncy inside. Looking between them all he soon moved quickly to Takeshi, taking a scouter from him and fixing it to his head. He didn’t need to wear one but he knew he could speak through them so that was pretty neat. Starting to walk away already he turned slightly, looking back to the others. “There’s something everywhere! But we should start with this way first”, he said quickly, looking back to his path, “I can tell where home is…where everything is! The energy is all connected…”

Yumi most certainly did not consider herself hyperactive even in the slightest. Shu, he was hyperactive, no one would argue that. Her on the other hand, she was just excited about being back on Kaesstra and getting to actually enjoy herself this time. Everyone was, it wasn't just her who had been looking forward to their arrival. Deep down she was positive a part of Viral was eager too, it had to be better being outdoors as opposed to locked up in a ship after so long. Handing off one of the scouters to the Beastman before fixing her own on Yumi smiled back at him, her ears flicking excitably as a faint noise was heard in the forests. "You have a smell, believe me you have a smell," she answered, laughing lightheartedly as she began walking towards the woods, "It's not bad though, don't take that the wrong way! As for my nose... Well we'll see what happens with it!" Tracking scents was more or less the first thing that came to mind when she had brought up hunting. That was how Viral did it, right? Either that or she could use her improved eyesight to spot things out, albeit just because she saw better didn't mean she paid as much attention as she should. They were in a large forest, she'd be looking at all sorts of things. Hopefully Yumi could focus long enough to actually attempt hunting.

No way was Kabocha going to let Choi get a break, he was all primed and ready to give someone a hard time today. Teasing about the break with Yumi he sent his friend off to fetch the scouters, smiling smugly as the twin did just that and returned with one for each of them. The girlfriend comment did make Kabocha flush slightly, more because it was a jab at him than anything. He hadn't had that many, two at most as far as he remembered. And they weren't exactly princesses or anything, he was pretty glad one of them had found another guy actually. Enjoying Choi's disgruntled behavior too much to get upset himself Kabocha let out a small laugh, glancing at their new scouters before putting it on. "Right, sure you were man, because you're always about taking the initiative," he taunted again, grinning cheekily. "Tell you what, you seem kind of moody so I'll lay off the teasing. How about instead we go hit the town? We'll try the food or whatever it was you two wanted to do, and let me worry about paying." What Saiyan currency might be worth here he wasn't sure, it had to be worth something. They were made of precious metals after all so they had some value even off world, he just wasn't sure what. Hopefully his father didn't mind him stealing a bit, not as if the hefty lout needed it for anything.

"You just want to act like a goofball, that's it yeah?" Takeshi joked, smirking as he ruffled Shu's hair, "T'charrl will come with us, and I'll swing in trees with you. Just don't get too bummed out if I can't do it as well as you can. No tail, remember?" Just to emphasis being tailless the older boy had turned around with his back to his brother, wiggling his butt playfully. He used to be pretty bummed about that, missing his tail, but now it was to the point where he scarcely noticed it was missing. Honestly at this point if he got one back it might be even weirder for him then. Posing the question to everyone of what they were going to do he was a little surprised Haku gave an answer. It wasn't a very good one, he pretty much could have remained silent and they'd have gotten the same effect. So it would be up to Shu or T'charrl then what they were doing, and T'charrl had something in mind by the looks of it. Following suit after the Kaesstrian, Takeshi raised an eyebrow at the direction they were being led, "You can tell all that just by being here? That's kind of awesome. It's like you've got a map in your head, you know?" They wouldn't get lost now, that was a big plus! Takeshi had worried a little bit about ending up gods know where in the forests, now they weren't going to have that problem.

Haku listened to Takeshi and T'charrl go back and forth, feeling like he again had no place in the conversation. He was coming along but it was mostly as an observer, he doubted they'd let him play. Not that he wanted to, they were supposed to be Saiyans and all that, they didn't play stupid games. They might sound fun but they were stupid, yeah. Who was he kidding, even telling that to himself he couldn't sound very convincing. He wanted to play but he hadn't a clue how, and seriously doubted any of them were going to do the courtesy of teaching him or giving him a chance. If they offered it he might take it, if he felt comfortable enough doing so. Glancing over at Shu he actually smiled slightly, finding his peer's excitement to be a little infectious. If he only had a tenth of the fun the young Prince was having then he'd have a good time.

That was easy enough, and surprisingly there were no complaints about the imposed curfew. It wasn't unreasonable, Vegeta mused, so it wasn't that surprising he supposed. With everyone else going off to goof off he now had the time to look into other pressing matters... And maybe peruse the technology on this world in greater detail. The cultures for Viral's treatments were being developed which meant his work on that temporarily was brought to a standstill. Shu and Takeshi were handling T'charrl rather well, and Shu would benefit from having a little bit of fun. For the first time in quite a while he had time to himself, and he intended on spending all of it enjoying the unseen treasures of Kaesstra. Pocketing his own scouter he turned and took off on the spot, heading straight for the city. First things first, he'd visit Katas and check in on what they had begun during his last visit, see if he could offer any insight. Maybe he could ask about those pylons around the planet as well, those had been a curiosity that had been in Vegeta's thoughts since their first trip here. After that he might go about the city himself and see what more was out there. He also did have a little work to do now that he considered it, having been asked by Sayomi to be her eyes on Kaesstra. While he wasn't going to be doing blood and hair samples as asked he would at the very least do some observations, maybe even interviews to get insight on their culture. Ah, but technology came first, then people.
