I know its an awkward thing to throw, but the goal is to knock him off balance and make him fall. And I doubt a vest designed to help protect from bullets and prevent the use of powers would weight just 1-2 pounds.

he had other things on his mind. And he was already chasing after the villain when he talked, so it went in one ear and out the other.

Also, if the vest hits the Patriarch's feet, it can cause him to trip. just saying.

I can see Superhuman Durability and Superhuman Strength while in metal form. Speed and flight I don't see. Those abilities appear to unrelated to your main ability. The organic metal is a cool ability, though I feel like you could take it a step further ...

I would really like those two powers as well though, I'm sure if I add the weaknesses it should be fine

By a step further, I mean more like the concept of the ability. Defining how it works can open up new possibilities with the power. What exactly is his metal form? Does he shape it to his body? can he shape the metal? Define organic metal. You know, iron it out. Just try to make things as grounded as possible (or at least as grounded as it gets with superpowers). Campy isn't a word I would use to define this rp.

As for speed and flying I stand by my no at the moment. any abilities that you have, should be related to your power.

What do you mean define how it works? An Organic Exoskeleton is an organic steel substance that is stronger than any earth metal. In this form he can withstand extremely high temperatures of heat, punishingly low temperatures, and electricity. Impacts, long falls(they still hurt him, depending on the height and strength of his attack or whatever he got hit by) Artillery fire and other types of round.

it's a metal that forms around his body, have you not seen Colossus?

I have seen collosus and he can neither fly (too heavy) or run very fast (too heavy). Your guy would need some serious weaknesses to balance out his strengths as even collosus could be hurt in his metal form and he certainly wasn't -that- strong. Take a look at some of the cs's that have been accepted to get a better idea on what pezz means.

I mean Mime is balanced out, if it is a complex skill he can't master it, and it tires him out. I had him in a Marvel RP as an OC and he tried using Lokis abilities.. that ended poorly for everyone except Loki who saw a tool.

Exactly, with Void she 'controls' the rift but I gave examples on how she does and had weaknesses that balance her out.
@Sep wish I'd seen that.
@Stryder I hope you can see where we're coming from? Even a lot of the marvel characters especially the X-men have weaknesses that counter their strengths.
@Kangutso I'm having trouble remaking her. She's human though and I believe this is her now as I can't find the original photo. She's about 5 foot 8, athletic build but not chunky and I'll get the CS up now I've found a pic asap.

I know who Colossus is. I was just curious as to whether or not you wanted to build upon the concept behind his power or simply replicate his abilities in your character. As far as being strong against fire and electricity, I kinda feel like that's a little far fetched. Unless he complete transforms into steel that is. Sorry man, I'm just nit picky about little details. I like it when things makes sense is all.
