That'd be an interesting idea, though I began to think a spiritually attuned character would be fun to play as well, if allowed.

Sure, no problem.

I'm unsure of tge exact balance to strike between wanting a small, tight-knit group, and accounting for potential dropouts. I think I'll draw the line around eight players or so?

It seems to me have decided to stick with Japan, at the least somewhere in Japan. I was originally against it, but now that I have a general idea of where this is going I think I know who I can play.

Quick question: To what extent are our characters allowed to have ties with the supernatural? Just so I can get a general idea for when I start working on my character concept.

It's subjective, but a decent extent is acceptable. They could be currently ir previously afflicted bythe supernatural, have cursory experience with it, etc. As long as your character is not explicitly a supernatural being, nor a specialist, we can probably make it work.

Bakemonogatari inspired right? If it's Japan, I think the incorporation of tsukumogami is much more 'believable'. I myself is a fan of these types of story, would be more than willing to join :)

Given the sort of slow curdle of discussion and interest as well as the site downtime that no doubt played a part in it, I think I'm going to let this one go. Perhaps I'll try to start it back up at a later point, on a more stable platform.

I thank each of you for your interest however, and hope to play with you some other time.
