For the past two hundred years, Magi have held a battle royale to decide the owner of the Holy Grail, an infinitely powerful magical object capable of granting a singular wish to the winner of this bloody contest.
The magi fight by summoning familiars designated as Servants, Heroic Spirits from history and legend; their summoners are designated as Masters. These powerful familiars fight to the death until only one remains.

In Paris, the city of lights, in the year 2014, fate has decided that you will enter the next Holy Grail War.
I made a Fate/ game, but it's gonna have a personal touch on it later.
For those of you who don't know about the Fate series, it's essentially wizards and legends fighting each other. For the fans, welcome aboard. I hope you enjoy the ride. If you need more info about the world or character creation, etc. just ask me; I always like to help my players with stuff. I'm trying to keep the base stuff on the simple side, though, so it's not overwhelming to players new to the series.

Before I forget, Masters should know that you get three Command Seals. These magical hand tattoos allow you to give a singular, distinct order to your servant that they must obey, like "Kill this guy" or "Don't kill me!". If you use all three, however, you lose your status as a master and are no longer eligible to win the Grail War.
Servants are divided into seven classes, Archer, Lancer, Rider, Caster, Saber, Berserker, and Assassin, based on their weapons and life. Archers use any ranged weapon and Assassins utilize stealth, for example. Anyone who has been known to have gone into a blind rage is eligible as Berserker.

Quick note on character slots, Fate calls for 14 characters, but I'm initially only going to allow 1 character per player until I see how the numbers pan out. Additional characters will be divvied out later.

Name: Miyamoto Musashi
Class: Saber
Dates born-died: 1584-1645
Appearance:
Bio: Musashi was a famous ronin from 17th century Japan, notorious for being an expert duelist, winning numerous fights throughout his life through a combination of wit and skill. Most famously, he fought and killed Sasaki Kojiro when he was about twenty-nine or thirty. Besides this, Musashi was known for his skills as an artist, philosopher, and writer. He was said to have a rough appearance and mannerisms, despite his skill.
Skills: Niten Ichi-ryū (N/A)
When Musashi was attacked by dozens of Yoshioka Matashichiro's supporters, he drew his second sword to defend himself and created the foundations of his two-sword style. Musashi fights with a blade that is always in two places at once, and his ability to parry and evade attacks is at the limit of what can be achieved solely through skill.

True Strategist A
Musashi relied equally on skill and strategy. He became the world's greatest duelist not only because of his phenomenal skill but because he approached each duel as if it were a battle, coming prepared with a plan and strategy. If Musashi is prepared to face a special skill or even a Noble Phantasm in a duel, his swordsmanship is on such a high level that he may devise a strategy to counter it.

Eye of the Mind (True) A
Despite his countless duels and battles, Musashi mastered many forms of art aside from swordfighting. His powers of observation and analysis have been honed through a lifetime of experience.

Utilitarian B
Musashi was known for winning even without a metal sword. Any sword or sword-like weapon used by Musashi is laced with prana, becoming a weapon capable of damaging other Servants.

Noble Phantasm(s): N/A
Musashi has no Noble Phantasm

Other: Musashi has a technique called "Striking the Face" and that's pretty cool.

Name: The Martian
Class: Caster
Dates born-died: ???? - 1898

Bio: A Martian from H. G. Wells' famous novel War of the Worlds, the Martians were unstoppable, their great machines falling only to heavy artillery-fire and the mighty blows of the HMS Thunder Child. All of Europe soon found itself quickly conquered by the aliens, though they were killed by bacteria in the water, as they had eliminated all disease on their home planet and their immune systems had atrophied.
Skills:
Chilling Cry (C): With a mighty shout of ULLAH, Caster can freeze all but the strongest of hearts, inducing panic and paranoia in all who hear the terrible war-cry.

Martian Technology (A): Caster's mechanical and scientific aptitudes, as well as its ability to preform magic, easily allow it to, among other things, upgrade just about any electronic or mechanical device, create miracle cures, jury-rig stuff that would make DARPA jealous out of household electronics, and build prana-powered weaponry in the form of goofy-yet-exceedingly-dangerous sci-fi rayguns.

Tranfusion (C): Caster has the ability to drain the prana from others by means of blood transfusion, facilitated by a pair of fleshy biomechanical catheters located at the wrists and under the tongue.

Noble Phantasm(s):
The Fighting Machine (A): Summons the Martians' signature weapon in the form of the Fighting Machine, a tall, spindly vehicle with three legs that carries with it their most feared weapons: The Black Smoke, a chemical weapon poisonous to most earthbound life, and the Heat Ray, a devastating energy weapon that can strike almost instantly at distances of up to two miles and is invisible save for a small flash emitted from the chamber upon firing. Whatever is combustible flashes into flame at its touch, lead runs like water, it softens iron, cracks and melts glass, and when it falls upon water, incontinently that explodes into steam. Basically shit be bad news try to stand behind like a hill or a building or something.

Forever Autumn (B): Caster passively spreads a phenomena known as the Red Weed, which takes the form of a carpet of red, mossy vinelike plants that cover the entire area, choke out all other forms of plant life and clog any nearby waterways. The phenomena provides an environment where Caster's abilities are enhanced.

Other: That's not a real mouth and those aren't real eyes either.

Name: Girard Palomer
Age: 46
Appearance: Girard is a sharp dressed man, wearing a decent three piece navy blue suit, with black dress shoes. He stands at 5'5", has a shaved head, and a dark brown beard. Other than a large wart on his nose, he looks completely unremarkable, looking like an average individual, (below average in terms of appearance.) Occasionally he wears a black trench-coat over his suit, usually when it is cold outside, and a neon blue scarf. He however, almost wears a pair of black cloth gloves, or more commonly plastic gloves, almost all the time. (As to not contaminate evidence of the crime scene.)

Bio: Girard Palomer was born to a modest family in the city of Lyon, to a businessman and his housewife. He was the middle brother, with an older sister, and a younger brother. He had a passing interest in wizards and their stories in his youth, but his real passion, was mysteries. He found puzzles to be truly engaging, and more entertaining than any other game, and he wanted to become a detective when he grew up. Of course, living in Lyon, the Headquarters of Interpol, he knew what he wanted to do. So he did what he needed to do, and found himself lucky to be an agent of Interpol. But, as an advising agency, he found himself stuck to the desk most of the time, occasionally going out to other cities to help other cops out and thwarting terrorists. But there he met his future wife, Erika, a German Agent of Interpol. He settled down with her and started his family, where he has five children, three girls, two boys, with her. Girard eventually resigned from Interpol, (where his Wife still works), to instead work in the Parisian Police Force proper, where he can solve mysteries, instead of being a desk agent. Through his service in the past to Interpol, and his dedication and sharp mind for solving mysteries, he worked his way up to Detective, (though he has received offers to become a Forensic Investigator instead of a general detective.) where he currently lives and works at. Currently Girard is looking for an individual wanted for a triple homicide.

Skills and Abilities:
- Sleuthing Detective: As an Interpol Agent, he knows his way around sleuthing for information, and has contacts in places, shady and some not so shady, where he gathers information on.
- Shooting: He can shoot fire arms, at a subpar/decent level. He isn't great, and tends to miss if under pressure.
- Office Drone: As he was usually an office-based Agent of Interpol, he is a master of the Office Environment, knowing all the courtesies, where to file and stow away papers, and complies to code.

Magic:
Stake Out Mark: After drawing a small mark on a building surface, he can see and hear what goes on in that building, within his mind. The mark, once made is invisible to the naked eye, but clear as day to anyone who can sense magic, who can see the mark itself.

Other: He always wears a wire and carries his Parisian Detective Badge on his person, alongside other typical things, such as his car-keys, wallet, and cellphone.

Name: Vlad Tepes(Also known as Count Dracula)
Class: Berserker(This is basically the mythical version of Dracula not the actual Vlad Tepes and I always thought he would work better as a Berserker instead of Lancer like in the actual Fate Series)
Dates born-died: 1431-1476
Appearance:Face / Full Body
Bio: Vlad Tepes was born in December 1431 in the fortress of Sighisoara, Romania. Vlad's father, governor of Transylvania, had been inducted into the Order of the Dragon about one year before. The order — which could be compared to the Knights of the Hospital of St. John or even to the Teutonic Order of Knights — was a semi-military and religious society, originally created in 1387 by the Holy Roman Emperor and his second wife, Barbara Cilli. The main goal of such a secret fraternal order of knights was to protect the interests of Christianity and to crusade against the Turks. The boyars of Romania associated the dragon with the Devil and decided to call Vlad's father "Dracul," which in the Romanian language means "Devil;" "Dracula" is a diminutive, meaning "the son of the Devil."

In the winter of 1436-1437, Dracul became prince of Walachia (one of the three Romanian provinces) and took up residence at the palace of Targoviste, the princely capital. Vlad followed his father and lived six years at the princely court. In 1442, in order to keep the Turks at bay, Dracul sent his son, Vlad, and his younger brother, Radu, to Constantinople (today Istanbul) as hostages of the Sultan Murad II. Vlad was held there until 1448. This Turkish captivity surely played an important role in Dracula's upbringing; it must be at this period that he adopted a very pessimistic view of life and learned the Turkish method of impalement on stakes. The Turks set Vlad free after informing him of his father's assassination in 1447. He also learned about his older brother's death and how he had been tortured and buried alive by the boyars of Targoviste.

When he was 17 years old, Vlad Tepes (Dracula), supported by a force of Turkish cavalry and a contingent of troops lent to him by Pasha Mustafa Hassan, made his first major move toward seizing the Walachian throne. Vlad became the ruler of Walachia in July of 1456. During his six-year reign, he committed many cruelties, hence establishing his controversial reputation.

Many years later, Vlad, now a grown man, in 1462, returns from a victory against the Turks to find his wife, Elisabeta, has committed suicide after receiving a false report of his death. Enraged that his wife is now damned for committing suicide, Dracula desecrates his chapel and renounces God, declaring that he will rise from the grave to avenge Elisabeta with all the powers of darkness. In a fit of rage, he stabs the chapel's stone cross with his sword and drinks the blood which pours out of it, turning into the first vampire, Count Dracula.

As the time passed Dracula became drunk with his power attacking whoever he could, until he finally met his demise under the hands of Abraham Von Helsing, the legendary vampire hunter.

Skills:

Blade of the impaler (E): Dracula summons a blade to his hand, while not a noble phantasm, the blade is quite resistant.

Bat Storm (C): Usually used as a distraction, Vlad summons a huge quantity of bats which fly upon the battlefield, may also be used for transport if used along with the next skill.

Bat Transformation (C): For a short limit of time Dracula may become a bat himself and fly away.

Infection (B): By biting a human's neck and sucking their blood, Dracula will infect them turning them into Ghoul-like creatures.

Noble Phantasm(s): Blood of the Fallen (A): Quite similar to Fate/Zero's Rider Ionioi Hetairoi, however instead of summoning fallen allies, Dracula summons the souls of those who he had once killed in a reality projection of a field full of impaled corpses, the souls obbey Vlad's every command. His noble phantasm powerful as it is, takes a lot from him though.

(Well....I myself am not very sure about this sheet but...let's see what you think. xD)

Name: Pious Augustine
Age: 36
Appearance: His disheveled appearance often gives his peers the impression that he has gotten little to no sleep. Of course, this is absolutely true.

Bio: Born to an alcoholic mother, Pious suffers from FAS (fetal alcohol syndrome). His family, disgusted by his grotesque appearance, shunned him. He was banned from going out into public, and was homeschooled in the basement. For what little interaction he got with other people, Pious developed a warped view of the world. People were horrid creatures, Pious had to make them better people! Even if Pious had to force them to change, they deserved it! The Augustine family used to be amazingly affluent, but only a few relics from their past remained. One of these lyrics was an unusual grimoire that had been in the family for generations, but largely went ignored by the modern Augustines. Pious began almost religiously studying this grimoire, learning the secret to magic. Surging with magical power, Pious forcibly converted his parents to his own state of mind, and set off on a journey to control the world.
Skills and Abilities: Pious is hideous, frail, perpetually nervous, and is utterly incapable of socializing. His time spent studying and learning magic has given him large amounts of mana and an encyclopaedic knowledge of magic.
Magic: Pious has a knack for illusions. In addition to thick fogs and blinding flashes of light, Pious has mastered the art of [[Psyche Projection]]. With this power, he can project a portion of his own tangled psyche, forcing his targets to feel the same emotions he is feeling. Though it has little combat application, it is somewhat useful for weakening foes at a distance.
Other: Pious' ultimate goal is to become immortal. Despite his wishes to control the world, he is absolutely terrified of death. If it seems like he is in danger, Pious will suffer a serious panic attack.

Dracula seems alright, but I think his NP should just be Rank A, since it's strong, but not immeasurably strong. Also, it should be noted that a lot of the people Dracula ate were Transylvanian dirt farmers he needed for food; only a portion would be soldiers and would-be vampire slayers. I'm also gonna enforce the huge mana drain because it's still a top-tier NP.
Also, I'm honestly a little iffy on the Infection skill, since it allows you to make an army of vampires outside your NP. I think if the bites created something like Ghouls, that'd be a bit better.

Aiisen, I like Sasaki Kojiro so I'm willing to allow him to be summoned as Assassin; we can just say the summoning ritual got bungled up. Again. That means we don't have to go out of our way to make sure one of our servants summons another servant. What I really need to clarify is his NP, since that seems to be an invention of your own. If I'm reading it right, he can't die? Or he has unlimited respawns, rather. Am I reading this right, or how many respawns were you thinking he should have?

Pious is mostly okay, but I notice his magic includes "Mind Control" which is always a big No for me in freeform, since it actively takes away player agency and it's tricky to resolve. If you don't mind, I'd like that to be altered or removed before you join.

Name: Ahab
Class: Rider
Dates born-died: Early 1800's
Appearance:

Bio:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Ahab_%28Moby-Dick%29
Or read Moby Dick.

Skills:
Riding(B): Most vehicles can be handled with above average skill. However, cannot ride the likes of Phantasm Races such as Monstrous Beasts.

Voyager of the Storm(C): is the talent to impel a ship and those who the user identifies with. Because the ability as a group leader is also necessary, this unique Skill also has the effects of both Charisma and Military Tactics. Captain Ahab is a master shipman, and was able to maintain order and survive with his crew through three typhoons.

Mental Pollution(E++):makes it highly possible to shut out any mental interference Thaumaturgy, due to possessing a distorted mentality. Normally Ahab is just rather stubborn, but in pursuit of a target he prioritizes the skill ranks up. Represents Ahab's destructive narrow mindedness in searching for Moby Dick to enact his revenge that led him to be estranged by crew members and eventually led to the loss of everything in his life.

Noble Phantasm(s): (Rank E through A, plus EX again.)
Pequod(A): a sturdy old Nantucket whaling ship decorated with whale bones and aged. It is battered and old, with the masts having undergone several replacements and the ship being in an overall slightly less than average condition. It is still however the legendary ship that managed to avoid the divine super weapon Moby Dick's attacks and was fast and able enough to track the divine beast down. The Pequod is nigh indestructible and has extremely high resistance to natural disasters such as typhoons and hurricanes. It can be said the ship is unbeatable against nature, as numerous typhoons, storms, and lightning strikes were not able to fell it, not counting the destructive power of Moby Dick. It is also extremely fast when in pursuit of a target, continuously gaining acceleration until Ahab is within range to unleash his harpoon. The Pequod can only be used on water though, which makes the noble phantasm rather limited.

Nantucket Lance(EX) - The surest and finest of Nantucket harpoons, and Ahab's personal weapon. It is an average looking, battered and weathered old harpoon still in reliable conditions, though having undergone many repairs. The harpoon was described as having felled the strangest of creatures, ranging from phantasmal beasts to savage cannibal warriors. However, the greatest feat this harpoon had was being able to wound and pressure the legendary divine super weapon Moby Dick, a monstrosity above the likes of even dragons. Against phantasmal beasts of any sort, this harpoon is an almost guaranteed kill, while heroic spirits suffer massive damage.

Other: Ahab has a prosthetic leg made of whale bone.Hates whales.

Name: Fionn Mac Cumhaill/Finn McCool

Class: Archer

Dates born-died: Sometime during the 3rd Century AD.

Appearance:

Bio: http://www.badassoftheweek.com/mccool.html If I ever get off my lazy arse, I'll write it out in my own words. No promises.

Skills: (Rank E through A depending on power. EX denotes something immeasurable.)

Class Skills:

Independent Action (A): As Fionn would regularly go hunting with no companions save for his dogs, Archer is capable of operating some distance away from or even without his Master without trouble for quite some time.

Personal Skills:

Iron Will (B): During his fight with Aillen the Burner, Fionn developed a peculiar tactic for dealing with mind-addling magics. By poisoning himself (either through his spear or from another source) or sustaining injury, Archer becomes highly resistant to mental interference, especially the kinds that induce sleep or drowsiness. As a side effect, Archer ignores the penalties imposed by being poisoned/injured so long as he remains in combat.

Giant's Strength (A): Fionn Mac Cumhaill is often depicted as a giant, capable of amazing feats of strength. Some examples being when he formed the Giant's Causeway for the sole purpose of picking a fight with a Scottish Giant, or tearing out and throwing a chunk of Ireland at a man in Scotland, only to miss and create the Isle of Man.

Improvised Projectile Weapons (C): Due to Fionn's strength, along with his propensity for throwing objects of varying sizes at his foes, he is quite proficient, albeit unconventional when placed into the Archer Class.

Charisma (C): As the head of the legendary Fianna, Fionn is competent in regards to leading small groups, less so when it comes to armies.

Noble Phantasm(s):

Bran and Sceolang (E): A pair of Irish Wolfhounds born from either Fionn's sister or aunt (depends on the source), who had been transformed into a dog while pregnant with twins. As a result, the dogs are highly intelligent and immensely loyal to Archer, and will follow almost any command within reason. However, aside from this, they are physically identical to a normal dog of their breed, and thus unsuited for combat against most servants.

Spear of Fiacha (B): A spear originally belonging to a warrior of the Fianna, it was gifted to Fionn when he discovered the weapon's magical properties with the power of the Salmon of Wisdom. The weapon produces a poison that, while non-lethal, causes a great deal of pain to those affected by it. Due to its use in the slaying of Aillen the Burner, the spear is more effective when used against beings that are magical in nature (e.g. fairies, goblins, demons, ect.). Additionally, Archer may inhale the poison to intentionally trigger the effects of Iron Will.

Knowledge of the Salmon (A): The rather nonsensical name of this Phantasm originates from a story in which a young Fionn aided a druid named Finegas in catching the Salmon of Wisdom. This magical piscine creature was said to grant immense knowledge and the power of prophecy to the one who ate it, hence why the druid sought it. It's also worth noting that the Salmon's powers were not its own, as it had gained them from consuming the similarly named Nuts of Wisdom. Unfortunately for poor Finegas, while Fionn was cooking the Salmon, he burned his thumb, resulting in him shoving it into his mouth, subsequently transferring its questionably awesome powers to him.

In practice, Fionn has his mental faculties enhanced and gains limited precognitive abilities so long as his thumb is inside his mouth. In addition, he gains the ability to identify the mundane and magical properties of an object/person with only a cursory examination. Obscure or 'disguised' Noble Phantasms can bypass this ability, however.

Something about Ahab doesn't sit right with me. Maybe it's the insta-kill harpoon, maybe it's the referring to an albino whale as a legendary divine superweapon on par with dragons and stuff to justify it. I'm sorry, but I don't think I should accept Ahab as our Rider.

Nasu flat out stated that Moby Dick was on par with Typhon, who could beat Zeus and needed an island dropped on him to subdue and not even kill.
I'll still change though to something simpler and more known to people not too immersed in canon.

Q: There's three ranks for magic beasts, but what's the most famous of the Divine Beasts, the greatest of those? Dragons are special beings with the alignments of the three types, but are there any currently existing dragons that can interfere with the real world in the world of Fate?

A: Moby Dick and Typhon? Divine beasts like those are more super weaponish than living beings I suppose.

-Just a little tidbit of trivia on Moby Dick lol, the thing was a legit superweapon funny enough.

I'll re app a diff rider.

He uses the dimensional refraction phenomenon to sublimate phantom mirages of himself, relating to the way that countless swordsmen that existed during that time period all had their heroic deeds attributed to Sasaki Kojiro, who was inherently a fictional existence. It is essentially what would happen if you attempted to replicate the phenomenon called Sasaki Kojiro using the all-powerful wish-granting ability of the Holy Grail.
