A while back, I'd had an idea for a story, inspired by music from the band Imagine Dragons. Now I'd like to turn this into a long-term 1x1 RP. The plot was this, more or less:
The story begins with a young man awakening from cryonic sleep. He is in a military base, what used to be Area 51. The base's AI, known as Essence, has been awoken by intruders. When the young man encounters these thieves, he discovers that he has the ability to control fire. He leaves the base to discover a new world where North America is now home to the Neo-Roman Empire. Various types of guilds exist, ranging from Thief and Mercenary Guilds to Security and Metallurgy Guilds. He joins a Security Guild, where he is eventually embraced as a member. However, the Empire learns of his powers and wishes to use him as an ultimate weapons.Genres: science fantasy, post-apocalyptic, war What I'm okay with: - Violence, gore, language, ecchi - OoC chat and planning - Humor, when the time is right - 1-3 paragraph replies What I'm not okay with: - Smut, fetishes, torture - Dropping out without warning - Novel-length posts (I prefer give and take between partners) - Yuri and yaoi (I'm not comfortable with yaoi, and while I LOVE yuri, I don't play female characters well) My internet situation is pretty crappy, so my posts may be erratic.
