Welcome to the Unterzee, and the deep, dark, and marvelous world of Zeelife. Perhaps you came down here through Fallen London, or came down with London who knows how long ago. Or maybe you came down through the Cumaean Canals? Oh who care! You're here now. And it's not easy to leave the Unterzee when you get here. It's been thirty years. Thirty long years since London was pulled down here by forces unknown. And in those thirty years the people have grown anew. Picking a living from the deep darkness. The lights and fires keep back the crewing black. While brave zee-captains in their trusty zee-ships sail out into that Everdark to scratch a living and get the goods needed to keep London alive. They sail out, engines chugging, zailors manning the engines and the lights and guns. Food for the crew, fuel for the engine in the hold. With room to spare for anything they might come across. Blasted be they who have no room to pick up a choice tidbit huh? Did you come here for adventure? Down from the surface into this blasted black. Or were you here all along and decided that going out to zee was the next thing that life planned for you? Either way leads to folly, and to adventure, to terror and to perhaps riches. For who knows what a trip onto the Unterzee will bring you. Maybe a trip to the Salt Lions nets you a hold full of Sphinxstone, bound back to London. Perhaps while zailing your ship come across an Angler Crab. What a haul if you can bring it's shell, meat and head lights in. Just think of the Echoes that would bring from the Butcher Lads in the Bazaar. It sounds all like fun and games. But what happens when the terror and dark of the Zee over takes your captain, he draws his pistol and shoots himself and the chief engineer? Where does that leave you? Or you run out of food on a long voyage on the zee. And your only option is to begin to eat your crewmates. Do you have the stomach for that landlubber? Or do you know something of the zee and can prepare yourself for the horrors that await out there? You think so? Then step aboard lad. We've got a long voyage ahead. Food and fuel loaded. And a bunch of tomb-colonists below. We're making for Venderbight once the captain says we're clear. Hang onto your hat lad. And hold onto your lunch. The Zee is no friendly place. ------- Yes this is my attempt to make a tribute RP to a game that has been ruling my gaming life for awhile. Sunless Sea by Failbetter Games, the same guys who made Fallen London the browser game, is a game based around terror, survival, luck and hope. Look it up if you don't know what I'm talking about. Maybe you'll get sucked in like I did. Anyway, in a nutshell, we'll be operating as either the officers or the crew of a zee-faring vessel. Our first trip up to Venderblight north of Fallen London. And from there, if our courage holds, beyond to places deeper out to zee. Looking for adventure, goods and the unknown. Will we make it back home to London? Or be sunk out there somewhere? Will it be riches we find? Or our deaths? That's for us to find out in the Unterzee. Maybe just maybe we'll come out of it smelling like a rose, with more echoes that we can dream of, and stories of distant shores with which to trade to those who might want it on the streets of London. It's really up to fate and the luck of the zee to tell that.

I wouldnt mind being the guy who bites it since dying suddenly for strange reasons is really setting appropriate. I can come up with several backup characters xD

I can honestly say this is 200 percent more interest then I ever expected. We shall wait another 2 hours. See if someone else pops up. I would very much perfer to do this with atleast 4 people, 3 and myself included. But if not then the two of us will have to do. For now I leave you with some music that might set the mood.
