Royal family of Jupiter: Holst of the Red Winds
Queen of Jupiter: Empress Articia Tsarmina Holst of the Red Winds.
Duke of Jupiter: Duke-Admiral Gregorio Scirrocco Rasputin of the Red Winds.
Prince of Jupiter: Prince Arnold Matrix Holst of the Red Winds.
Princess of Jupiter: (Unborn) Princess Uriana Jupitris Holst of the Red Winds.

Race: Feline origin
Age of Queen: 99
Age of Duke: 53
Age of Prince: 11
Personality:
Empress Articia is a strong woman of strong convictions, although she is skeptical about interstellar peace, she is nonetheless willing to accept it and even strive for it. She will not cow down to anyone... She is also prone to angry outbursts, which is why she rarely attends formal occasions personally.
Duke Admiral Gregorio is who many on Earth would consider "A damn dirty traitor." After the initial war with Earth, she came to earth to discuss a peace treaty... The summit turned out to be a trap and she was imprisoned for "Crimes against Humanity" Gregorio was put in charge of her imprisonment... Something he didn't approve of, such low down, dirty tactics were unbecoming of an empire. Over the 3 weeks of her encarceration, he fell in love with her and rescued her from Earth forces, taking her home along with one of Earths most prized warships "E.A.S. Trafalgar (Now H.M.S. Trafalgar)" He is a man of honour, who doesn't care for territory, planets, empires or political agenda's, he loves his wife and will stand by her always.
Prince Arnold isn't one for the lap of luxury, he is prone to escaping the castle station and hanging out with the street juves in some of the lower class stations. He prides himself on being a whizz with computers and engineering. Secretly, he enjoys getting caught by the palace guards and taken back to face the wrath of his parents.
Appearance: females males

City Structure: Being that Jupiter is a Gas Giant, living on the surface of the planet is... Physically impossible, the gravimetric forces would crush anything that attempted to do so, as such, everybody lives aboard giant space stations orbiting the planet. The smaller ones are simple Space Stations that house about 1000 people, but some of the larger stations are O'Neill cylinders that can sustain up to a billion each. They are built to withstand the crushing forces of Jupiters gravity and can (For defense purposes) dive into Jupiters atmosphere for short periods of time.

I was wondering a bit on technology: I'm assuming we're far enough in the future (or far enough away from established science, anyway) that terraforming is possible, and has been successful on at least some of the stellar bodies in the Sol system. Is it then too much of a stretch, say, for humans to live on Ganymede without the use of enclosed environments/atmospheric domes and so on? Because that's kind of the assumption I went with.

But anyway:

Ruling House of Ganymede: O'Brien-Bonaparte-Stuart (referred to informally as "The Royal House O'Brien")

Territory: The Kingdom of Ganymede

History: Among the younger ruling dynasties in the Solar System, the O'Brien clan traces its beginnings three generations back to James O'Brien, a human born on Earth. Well-educated and utterly unscrupulous, O'Brien was in his time notorious as the most skilled and cunning thief alive. After stealing priceless art and artifacts from dozens of museums, and breaking out of nearly as many prisons, he declared that the challenges of Earth "bored" him. Striking out for Ganymede, a moon of Jupiter then in a state of anarchic flux, he produced papers detailing his lineage, and claimed descent from several notable human royal lines. Gaining followers by both his wealth and his exceptional skill at oratory, he rallied the populace and seized control of one of the poorer locales in the system. Now remembered as "Mad King Jim," he is celebrated as something of a folk hero by the common people, a perception encouraged by the ruling regime

The O'Brien's generally regard themselves as outsiders relative to the other dynasties, feeling themselves looked down upon by the rulers of wealthier, more populous territories. This is especially true of Jupiter, whose denizens are seen as untrustworthy and decadent. It is not uncommon to see a member of the ruling court suspiciously make the sign of the horns toward Jupiter, when the planet fills the sky with red. Although monarchs in name, the King is held in check by a written constitution, and can theoretically be deposed by the Great Assembly, a unicameral legislature. This notion to popular sovereignty is alluded to in the title "King of the Ganymedians," who rule the people as citizens, not the land itself as despot. In practice the monarch has a somewhat greater degree of power than most constitutional rulers, being the chief executive, the commander in chief of the military, and having the unilateral power to declare war, negotiate treaties, veto or even dissolve the Assembly, and to raise commoners to noble rank.

It is a moon of Jupiter- and I think among the nearer ones. It exists inside of the Jovian magnetosphere, too, I think.

I should hardly think so. I was honestly hoping for Mars, but that was taken. Barring that, I figure the most sensible place for human colonization (aside from space stations in the asteroid belt, or maybe domes on Luna) would be one of the moons of Jupiter, especially either Io or Ganymede. I figured it just made sense, proximity aside.

Just as well, the nearness could certainly be interesting from an in-character point of view. I imagine it would either lead to (as I suggested in my application) mutual distrust and possibly even open hostility, or else to cordial diplomatic relations based on mutual trade and defense. Either way, there's certainly a lot of room to work with there.

Royal family of Saturn: The Corvatti

Race: Human origin

A Brief Description of the Saturn Hegemony: The Hegemony incorporates the planet of Saturn, its rings and Major moons, and many of its smaller moons. Secretive and reclusive are two words that come to mind when the Hegemony is brought up by merchants and diplomats in foreign ports. Strangers inside the Hegemony are met with the sober, reserved people that populate the moons, and as such the Hegemony is usually described as ‘uninterested’ with the solar system around them. In actuality this couldn't be further from the truth as the Hegemony itself has diplomats in every friendly court, and spies in every trading hub within the orbit of the ringed planet. They boast a massive navy and marine force, both supported by the Drive Yards within the rings, the pride of the navy is the Super Carrier ”Axios”
